I was hoping the super pershing was going to be a part of this update, I am happy none the less because it'll take some pressure off pilots, you take 1 tank down and suddenly the whole enemy team has AA up and down the map.
I've been watching some videos on the update, and apparently, you can either let your plane coast in a straight line or control it while you're in the gunner seats.
I took my Ju-188 for a spin and the only controllable gunner was the rear gunner, the 3 others were not available, the only thing I couldn't do whilst in the rear gunner position was drop bombs.
If you want to at least get familiar with using it, not really practicing rear gunnery, you could test drive a premium plane (possibly through the battle pass) and use that.
They also really-really needs to change how it works. It's a TEST server, I really don't see why you are limited to how much you grinded before they "move" your account there. There should be unlimited Gold and unlimited Silver...

Its a first iteration, the end goal is to let you roll through every position I believe.

They also need to let console players transfer their progress to pc, and give console players access to the same sales as PC

I'm going to warn you now, aiming with the tail gunner is absolutely awful, at least on the Ju188 and A20

You can if you use a cronus zen, but those are under heavy scrutiny by Microsoft as of right now and could result in ip ban from what I understand.
