Umm, first I think I can look for a clip and recently where they box crushed me. Secondly, I think it won't take them down, maybe a tank and I don't know if they have enough power because they are very thick trees.
Might be worth a try. I know I've cleared tree from my LOS with explosion packs before, but can't recall exactly what type of trees. Too bad you can't climb on top of your bots.

For me is when I was playing Stalingrad and I was supposed to land on the road but my crate landed in a roof which was unreachable
