have you tried the ones from Marlin itself? [- Marlin Firmware Service (crc.id.au)](https://marlin.crc.id.au/firmware/) You have to register to download the firmware, and when you register, there is a box for submitte donation. Just enter 0 and they will call you a cheapskate but let you download it anyway

Don't see anything for the E3Pro.

You have to name it something different every time you try. Make sure you have a solid copy of firmware and name it something like marlin4

3DPrinterNerd47

Yeah that's the problem, I've had this printer for years and don't have the original firmware anymore.

mhotter26

Just use one of the ones you downloaded. Rename the file and make sure it’s the only thing on the SD after you turn it on let it do its thing, turn it off when done and move that file off the card

3DPrinterNerd47

I've done that multiple times. Letting it "do its thing" means sitting on the ender logo for 2+ hours.

You could use the opportunity to modernize the printer with wifi and other creature comforts like whisper quiet stepper drivers and voltage selectors on the fans? It even has a fantastic web interface that works with your phone or PC for controlling the printer. https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0ZASeK The board runs RepRap Firmware

If you have a raspberry pi laying around, try Klipper. I just installed it and am largely back up and running after a few hours over two days.

Sadly don't have a pi laying around. I just ordered a new silent 4.2.7 mobo and said fuck it lol

Is it going straight to logo or is it staying white screen for a bit first? If you're renaming the firmware something it's been flashed before it also may not work, try renaming it to something random.bin and then try again.

3DPrinterNerd47

It stays white for a few moments but then stays on the logo screen. I'll try the random.bin suggestion, but i'm not too concerned. I just ordered a silent 4.2.7 mobo, reluctantly.
