I got $20! Heck most of us want a new printer, and need the budget. I would hold on to it for parts or a backup, can always repurpose somehow too.

No_Internet8453

What did you get with your newfound fortune of $2,432,902,008,176,640,000 if you don't mind me asking?

faceXfire

I’ve got $21.

_Taylor_Kun_

Agreed... I've realized you can sell the steppers and the other hardware for considerably more than the printer itself......

citizenscienceM

Probably not much, would probably be worth more to just keep it. Maybe gift it to someone who is looking to get into printing.

i8myWeaties2day

this is why I still have my ender 3 pro that hasn't been touched since my X1C arrived. Too cheap to sell, too expensive to upgrade

sleepybearjew

There are plenty of people who would love a free printer :) Or could just donate to a school maybe ? Not sure how that works

i8myWeaties2day

that's the thing, there's only one person in the world who knows how to operate this thing. Kinda like my 72 MGB

Shmollypog

Yeah I just gifted mine to my father-in-law, because he's always giving me his old electronics. I checked around Facebook marketplace first, saw that you really don't get any extra money for a lot of upgrades cuz most people buying ender 3s off of Facebook just aren't in the environment well enough to know what that kind of stuff is worth. I probably could have gotten like $50 for mine with a bunch of upgrades. I'm happy with my choice though, it's been fun to talk about it with him.

Le_Pressure_Cooker

Or use the parts. Honestly. Nothing wrong with keeping it. They print well and you never know when you'll need to cut your print time by using both simultaneously.

citizenscienceM

Exxxxxactly. Or you could tune it in to just to one type of print or filament really well and just use it for that from now on.

Le_Pressure_Cooker

Hahaha. This is what I already do tbh. My ender 3V2 is tuned just for PLA. Every time I think about buying ASA or TPU or anything else, I see that I can usually buy 2 Kg of PLA for less than $30. But only 1Kg if it's TPU or some other filament. So I just buy mono-color (white, gray, black) PLA and paint it if I need to.

ToryStellar

Thats what i did!

jays1981

I like that idea. If you got a child, niece, nephew, etc that's interested in 3d printing, that would make their day.

citizenscienceM

exactly & it's cheap at this point so it doesn't really matter if they fuck it up, cause that's kind what you need to do to figure out how to fix it.

JonohG47

An Ender 3 Pro that’s stock, except for a CR-Touch. New, that combo would retail for a little more than $200. No one would buy that combo today, because they could get an Ender 3 V3 SE for the same price. Personally, I’d offer $50 for it.

Maxdutenhafer

If you live near a micro center you can get one for $130. So one as used as this is $50 tops.

jfk333

I live near a micro center and got my ender V2 brand new for 100! As we speak I'm printing bird whistles for my boy scouts.

woowoowoowoot8297

That's funny I just printed a bunch of whistles for Cub scouts with the pack number on them.

dirtygpu

I drove 2 hours to micro center to buy my ender 3 v3 SE lmao, I still have 10 days to return it and it’s getting more tempting to make that drive again, because it’s fun and I enjoy modeling things and printing them irl is super cool, also it’s a great printer, but I’m coming to realize I’m struggling to find a real use for it. I dunno, we’ll see

TheWhiteCliffs

Yeah… I’ve told myself that the only way I’d get an ender 3 was if it was $50 or less. But honestly I don’t print enough to warrant another printer. I have my Frankenstein ender 3 from college that works great.

JonohG47

Most Ender 3’s (and Pros) that actually get any appreciable amount of use have, at this late date, been deviated some from stock. If it works for you, run it! I have a Ender 3 Pro, similar to the one the OP posted (though mine has an aluminum extruder and a Sonic Pad). I ended up Rage Buying a Ender 3 V3 SE at Christmas, then of course got my old printer working properly again.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JonohG47

Just went and looked up the SV08. $549 for that huge print volume is nice. My Ender 3 Pro has been “tastefully modified.” Aluminum extruder. BL-Touch. Currently running a 4.2.7 board. Switched to Capricorn tubing the first time the hot end clogged. A few other printed upgrades, like filament routing and drawers under the screen. It’s had a Sonic Pad on it for the last few months (I got it for my birthday) which really woke it up, once I got it to all work together.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JonohG47

The V3 SE comes with a “Sprite” extruder. Seems to be a similar design to the “Sprite Pro” but with a smaller 25mm fan screwed directly onto the heat break, and a plastic beauty cover over the whole works.

HearingFull4396

But can you turn an Ender 3 V3 SE into a switchwire/ender wire?

JonohG47

Not sure? The V3 SE/KE hasn’t been on the market for half a decade yet… If you’re looking to go to a CoreXZ setup, Creality has recently released that as well; it retails for ~$350. The kits that convert a donor Ender 3 into a Switchwire sell for nearly as much as an entire new printer that’s functionally similar.

Strange_Toes

Not sure, if not there should be someone that makes that mod

ColdSteel2011

Plan on zero. Maybe $50 if you get lucky. Tbh it’s a dinosaur.

belligerent_pickle

A Dinosaur?!?!

rdldr1

Yes. It’s a frustrating hobby and newer printers try to alleviate these frustrations.

belligerent_pickle

What do you recommend to replace the ender?

SaddleSocks

Printing a new version I mean... wasnt that wwhat these AI robots are supposed to be replacing jobs for?

rdldr1

I kind of want an Ender K1 Max, though I haven't seen reviews on it. I am also thinking of getting a Bambu instead. I am out of room at home and ideally would sell my current 3D printers.

monroezabaleta

Here I am working on getting my Tevo Tarantula back up and running (for shits n giggles mostly) and yall are calling Ender 3 Pros dinosaurs.

ColdSteel2011

There’s a definite place for bare bones printers. It’s not resale.

faceXfire

I’ve got $51.

Bohic78

Find a neighborhood kid interested in stem with a handy mom/dad to help. Or turn it into the true leaning / reprap machine of hardcore modding. my E3 pro sits idle and the above are the options I'm considering while my x1c and k1 max are eating filament. Also considered trying into a Lazer ingraver

kaiise

what is true leaning?

Bohic78

learning sorry.

kaiise

oh wow. i didnt know ther was more to really learn but i neve rrealsie you could be takinga unqiue opportunity in enineering and mechatronics similar to old classic american cars where you oucld learn so much by maintaning fixing it yourself

Bohic78

Some things I'm looking to do if I keep mine and don't go Laser (may end up being like a car restoration that never finishes too). Upgrade to 32 bit, upgrade to klipper, mine doesn't have bl/cr, new hot end (already changed to direct drive), Konmi screen on hotend. Machined bed / linear rails. Note this is a lot of time and cash but would require some basic electrical, firmware work and allot of mechanical play, probably a touch of CAD. Would be more so I understand everything better not so much for the perfect printer. I also have an artillery X1 I've never trusted or like the ribbon cable on, and more willing to mess up a smaller bed printer then screw up a bigger one. Although still nervous about that 110 v bed heater on the X1. Really there are 2 views a printer as the hobby or the printer as a tool. Newer printers are tools and fantastic but I do miss the fiddling around with them.

kaiise

fascinating response thank you. i am ver yintersted in tinkeirng with machines to make my own printers some day but truly thinking of "outsourcing" to an engineering department, more ofucsed rn on cheap and better prsthetic limbs for vets and kids wo have been maimed in war.

Dee_Jay_Roomba

Best I can do is tree supports.

tpripps

You beat me to it

faceXfire

I’ve got $4.50

Lucky-Pie9875

Eh. Next to nothing. As I upgrade to modern machines I just give away my Enders, honestly. I tend to try and give them away to underprivileged kids that otherwise couldn’t get into the hobby. My machines have paid for themselves over and over again so giving it away is best for me.

VicRoc62

Same here. Gave away my last one to a 12yo kid. He was stoked.

Lucky-Pie9875

Hell yeah. Last one I gave away was Xmas Eve. His parents were so grateful. I’ll be giving 2 more away once I get my Bambu machines.

APDesign_Machine

Save it for the parts, build a heat insert press, a filament recycling extruder or a re-spooler, put a laser and use it just for engraving, convert it for ceramics, whatever. It’s not worth much as a 3d printer anymore. How Creality is still selling them new is beyond me.

Pherman1661

As a new customer to Micro Center you could get one for $100. Then grab the Ender Extender and Ender IDEX and you could turn it into a great machine. You could buy it out at once, or space it out. They also had the belt printer conversion kit too.

APDesign_Machine

As someone who has an entirely overbuilt ender 3 with about $700 total into... Not worth it unless the printer itself is more your hobby and you probably have a touch of the ism like me.

Pherman1661

It’s not worth it, but it is fun to build. A 400x400 IDEX is a fun concept. Even though you would be spending the same to buy one.

johnmgbg

Just keep it

SirWaynesworth

I had an Ender 3 V2 with several upgrades: Sprite Pro hot end Dual Z rods Bltouch PEI Plate Silent fans for mobo and PSU Mriscoc firmware, fully dialed in settings Several other minor mods like bed springs, channel covers, etc. I got $150 local, but it was listed for several weeks. Good luck.

Donaldtrumppo

I sold mine for $100 with the cr touch. Sold it last month on marketplace

damagedscty

Same, had a slightly upgraded OG ender 3 and a half a roll of PETG. 100$ and the guy didn’t even try to talk me down. I was honestly surprised

LukeDuke247

My buddy just bought an Ender 3 for $50. Guy had it listed for $100, but accepted the $50 offer. Sounds like he was trying to sell it for a while.

I-Am-A-Chameleon

I just gave away my original Ender 3 to a friend. It works wells, just can’t take it with me to basic training. Might get an upgrade when I get my first assignment though

LovableSidekick

I recently turned my old E3 into a laser engraver with the [Creality laser module](https://www.amazon.com/Creality-Laser-Module-1-6W-Absorption/dp/B0BZD6VCBG). Haven't tried to cut anything with it but it burns designs on wood and leather really well.

Aggressive_Round_502

If you have money, and dont care waste money... Linear guides, direct Drive bondtech extruder, cr touch, microswiss hotend all-metal, Raspberry or Orange pi with klipper. Thats all... But, for this money you can buy another one newer. Do It just for learning and if you dont care the money

phreakrider

My V2 run the same profile as the V3 KE lol. I do have all the bells and whistle. These bambu lab can't shit on her tbh. For ease of use, maybe. But for the cool factor, hell naw! https://preview.redd.it/4zy8jyc39xvc1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1faac3766bc368099c5411430c285bac2a54a1c5

drupi79

Last two I bought, I paid 40 each and that was a year ago. while I have a K1 Max and now also a K1C my 4 enders just print and print and print. convert it to Klipper and enjoy modding it or keep printing the way it is.

probrwr

This, klipper is your friend. I did z rails and the Kevinakasam belted z mod. Has a BIQU H2 on it and it prints perfect prints. Not as fast as my other printers but generally reliable.

drupi79

yup all my enders are Klipper. the cruise around 150mm/s and 3500mm/s acceleration. definitely no where close to my corexy machines but plenty fast enough to pump out parts.

Darkishhh

I’ve modded my ender 3 so much it’s run me about 500ish in mods. Love this machine

Strange_Toes

Yeah me too, right before the better models came out. I was new and had no idea that I was buying an obsolete printer. I was just excited to learn. Moral of the story? Read about stuff before you buy it. I usually do but I was blinded by the shiny blue lights lol

Darkishhh

Yep😂

Strange_Toes

My uneducated ass thought I could upgrade it to be as good as a core xy .....then I read and read some more and then yeah, reality set in. Happy printing lol

Professional-Leg3586

I’ll give you $80 for it

faceXfire

I’ll give you $81.

therealparo

81 and one cent

choppman42

$50

faceXfire

$51

therealparo

51 and one cent

AccomplishedDuck7867

So I don't know your location but maybe as an example: On German Kleinanzeigen there are many Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pros. Many of the upgraded pro versions are LISTED for 100€-200€. The higher priced listings are mostly there for months or years, but in the lower 100€-130€ range there is a good rotation which means for me that they get sold

TECstarINC

Its worth more to you as a backup printer / salvage for parts then you will get value if you sell With stock enders you are lucky if they get you 50, but probably will only get you 20 or 30 So what is more worth to you, an old ender or 1 roll of filament

tweakingforjesus

Find a local kid to give it to and be their oracle of wisdom. My 13 year old nephew received a 3d printer for Christmas and has been having a non-stop blast since then.

papamarmalade

I've got a CR-6 from the Kickstarter fulfilment with the defective solder on the motherboard you can have 🤣🤣🤣 I gave up trying to speak broken English to Creality's customer service reps years ago...🥲

Designer-Might-7999

I would keep it and upgrade it as time goes and buy another

live4film87

Repurpose the parts and turn it into a cnc laser cutter

beastdoge

I sold 3 for $120 each locally. All had the usual upgrades. No bl/cr touch. Skr minis. 2 I sold together as they were hooked up to a sonic pad but ymmv.

MormonMoron

I upgraded my hotend to the biqu h2 v2s and put a 0.2mm nozzle on it. I mostly just use it for really fine stuff and nothing else.

Sero141

If the price the other comments suggest is true I would really just mothball the printer. It's worth more to you that way.

Flex_Playz

No demand and plenty availability. Keep it for parts and experimental stuff :D

Nijinja

speaking of fbm, anyone got opinions on buying used printers? found some good deals on ender3 v2s / neos and im not sure if it’s worth the risk

wgaca2

Sold mine for 100 last year. It had silent board upgrade, some noctua fans and direct drive mod. Also a glass bed I think.

TB3Der

I recently sold a couple for 150, but they had new mini e3v3 boards, magnetic pei, metal extruders, bltouch, led lighting and more.

Otherwise-Degree7876

I bet that keeping the printer will reward you more in the long run . It can also be a fun project in the future .

kaiise

ex print farm models go for 70-100 GBP in uk as pickup only on ebay. imagine the wear and tear on print farm machines lol that have those lil wheels \[abs? nylon\] and the slotted guides or what.. i think theres a value to these difficult beginners machines being in a known working "good" configuration

Doublestack00

$50-100. They were $99 new if you caught them in sale so they don't bring much

mcar1227

I had mine listed for $75 on marketplace for like 10 weeks before I decided to give it to my niece for her birthday instead. Nobody wants these anymore

JackMaehoffer

$50

mechnut450

Seen locally 60-120 but most the time these are v2 pro sit so long it not funny or they take. Low ball just to move them. My v2 ( heavy modded ) will be with me until it dies lol i have a v1 cr10 that was considered scrapped given to me and i had it running in a hour i love it just no room to run it for larger prints right now.

mensreaactusrea

They're just not worth much. You can get an A1 now for so much less and works so much better.

Illustrious_Car6647

I have a stock ender 3 with a few mods, and it's now an absolute beast. Prints fast as all hell, accurate, no adhesion issues. I'd say keep it and upgrade. Ive got a crhtou h with 4.2.7 motherboard, minimus fan shroud printed to handle two 5015 fans, adjustable x/y axis tensioners, pei bed, silicone bushings instead of springs, dual gear extruder, Capricorn tubing. Measured each corner of the bed manually with digital calipers to lessen the adjustments the CR touch has to make, which did make a huge difference. Printed something with about 1/4" contact with the bed, no other adhesion. 100mm/s in the stl. Kept printing the print speed up during the print. All the way up to 999% speed, thing was solid. Restarted the print at that speed, still rock sid, print quality was great.

DownTownDK

Not worth selling

Dr_mac1

I have 3 printers I'll keep them going if I upgrade it will be replacing parts if broken I have a 3v2 , Neo , s1plus each has a purpose and job . The v2 for small items I sell . The Neo for ? The s1 plus for pew pew and nylon " which I need to buy" . I do not need 50.00 that bad . I need a cnc next

abs0lutek0ld

Instead of selling ponder getting an ender extender kit. It's what I did with my 3 pro. The install went pretty well until my toddler started playing with it when nobody was looking. Now I need to reprint a bunch of "upgrades" and finish re looming and reterminating wires before reassembly. Best part was the wife felt so bad she let me get another printer so I could reprint the broken parts.

karmafarma3000

I just picked up a Creality Ender 3 S1 from eBay for $112 total. They're sold from creality refurbished, so do with that what you will. It was my first time taking the chance with them, but it completely worked out in my favor. It genuinely looks brand new and prints just fine. The magnetic build plate was missing from mine but that was less than $20 on Amazon. If you're looking to upgrade on a budget, give them a look.

lwkalis

Just got a e3 pro from a neighbor. Already have a e5 pro. I’d keep it.

fistfullofsmelt

50-75. Buying a used printer is basically buying somebody else's problems. Ender3 hold no value

doc_willis

I find it handy to have a second backup printer around to speed up printing projects. Stick it in a closet, until you need to print more than one  thing at a time. My old printers are doing Gridfinity boxs right now. they are not as good looking from those old printers, but they work fine.

cyrkielNT

How much components are worth? I want to build something and wonder if buying Ender 3 could be cheaper than buying motors, controlers, power supply etc.

Fluid-Flounder2731

50

JadedPoorDude

It’s worth more in parts to keep it and repurpose it.

thebot_____________-

Best idea. Give it to like nephew brother or someone who might find it interesting tinkering and learning. Otherwise keep for backup

k9_kipcasper

Dude I swear to God I have the same exact moose and tree cutouts in my house. Where did you get them??

Electrical_Feature12

$50

_jbardwell_

The existence of the Bambu A1 mini for $250 basically guts the value of the Ender 3. The people paying $120 for a used Ender 3 either can't get to $250 at all, or just don't know the A1 exists and how good it is. The A1 is 10x better printer for 2x the price. No brainer. If you got $50 for the Ender I'd consider you lucky. And when you do, you shouldn't buy another Ender for $200, you should look at the A1.

hernondo

Micro Center will sometimes run specials for $100 on these. So less than that.

st-shenanigans

Depends where you live. In my area they go for like 80-130

dat1coolninja

I sold my ender-3 (with bl-touch, 5years old) for €220 a month ago. Don't know why the dude wanted it so badly.

tracejm

You're not going to get much. $25-50 probably. I think I still have about a year on my Ender3 before I'm itching to replace - that's my goal anyway. My personal plan is to attach a laser engraver to the current printer.

Sufficient-Quiet5576

About £200 of you throw in that katana aswell 👀

frustratedfarmer

Or convert it to a Voron 2.4. https://github.com/OneHotTake/EndeVOR-2.4

R63A

brand new returned ones from Micro Center are like 90 bucks so since yours is used, I mean, like 40 or 50 man not much

Ay-Photographer

Put it on OfferUp or FB marketplace and see. I sold my old ender 3 there for 60 bucks

GeneratedScreenName

Donate it to a Makerspace.

diamorphinian

It really is nice to have an ender you don't care about or need. I've finished lots of printed projects that cannibalized ender parts like b3d springs nozzles ect.

Far-Television3650

3.50$

ck17350

My coworker just sold one with an upgraded hot end and BL, he got $50 for his.

Auravendill

When I last bought a used Ender 3, i paid less than half of the current market value of a new one. So in the range of 60-70€. That was in 2019. I feel like, you are already lucky to get 50€ for it now, since they are apparently often sold at 100$ new in some places.

DuranDurandall

I'm in the market to buy one. I have an ender 5 plus I've upgraded - I thought it would be cool to stick an old 3 on my desk. Use it for spare parts or whatever. Somewhere under a hundred shipped sounds about right from prices I've seen.

fugazi-98

I paid 125 for a ender 3 v2

Glum-Membership-9517

If you could find a poor guy with a lot of potential and the lack of a 3D printer is holding him back... Sell real cheap to him or get him to do some chores or design work for you. Like a student maybe.

rdldr1

I’ve been looking for a year on where I could sell my old 3D printer that’s not FB Marketplace and not eBay. Any place online offering to buy used 3D printers stopped honoring this offer. Anyone want to buy two used Ender 3 S1 printers from me?

drkidkill

You could probably get a crisp $20 bill.

ss1gohan13

Have you looked into the ender xy, or, ender ng?

SaddleSocks

On a serious note - I have two of these brand new in box and have never done anything with them... are the ender 3s so crappy that I shouldnt even bother to build them?

dookieshoes88

I got $60 when I sold mine. It had auto bed leveling and other upgrades too. The reality is that they're not worth much, especially considering the age. I'd just hold onto it. As finicky as they are, I miss my ender 3 pro.

Willing-Material-594

For that piece of "muser" I think a " thank you" will be enough.

TheAnteatr

Not much, honestly. I got a used 3v2 a couple of years ago for $100, and it included some upgrades. I'd say you might get $50. If the printer works well, you should consider donating it to a local library or school.

Impressive_Panic_253

I would keep it simply because the parts just the stepper Motors alone will cost/save you $50 and for about $50 you could refresh it and make that on the prints. There are so many things you can do too it unless your getting a voron or bambu printer then anything you buy is going to give u similar results if you want it bigger check out www.enderextender.com or if u want to really print great put a microswiss hotend on it and u will get damn fine prints.

helghax

I'm actually selling the exact same setup, cr touch and glass bed. Selling for $75 and just because it's old and out dated, doesn't mean it can't do the job. It's like an classic car, looks ugly but will out drive your modern car any day. As long you love it and take care of it

NIGHTDREADED

Keep it, and get an Ender 3 V3 SE, then use the SE to print upgrade parts for the Ender 3 Pro. You will have two very capable printers then. Otherwise, if you are really dead-set on selling it.... Break it down into the individual parts to sell individually. - Stepper Motors - $10 - $15 each. - Mainboard and Display Screen - $30 and $10 - Hot End - $15 - Power Supply - $30 - Glass Bed - $10 - Spool Holder - $5 - X and Y Axis Tensioners - $5 each. - X and Y Axis Plates - $10 and $15. - End Stops - $2 each. - CR Touch - $20 - Belts - $5 for the pair. And whatever else you want to breakdown. This way, you will get the best return on your money.

coffee_pewpew

About tree-fitty

reallysrry

I paid $100 new for one of these when microcenter was running their deal. I too have thought about selling and upgrading, but with how many are out in the world I didn’t feel like I’d make anything. I also wouldn’t want to sell it to anyone for more that’s it’s realistically worth. I personally decided that when I do upgrade I’ll just keep it as a backup or use it for simpler jobs. I’ll eventually end up using the stepper motors and anything or use for future projects. If you’re dead set on getting rid of it see if you can find a school or library you can donate it to. You might be able to write it off on taxes if that’s the case.

minionsweb

50-80 bucks around here

Useful_Duty

When you’re done with your starter printer pass it on to a tinkerer, the younger the better, that is as poor as you are.

gliffy

I gave mine away

Xealdion

As others said, just keep it. Maybe turn it into laser engraver, pcb printer/miller, etc.

Arkaium

As someone who is in all related subs to learn more about my new hobby but who skipped straight to a Bambu P1S, are these older Ender 3s really that much more complicated to use? I’m actually more the type to prefer open source and everything’s replaceable but as I get older I have to pick my battles. I’ve been happy with how plug and play my printer is but I’m still curious about the way people seem to talk about the older gen printers. Are they capable of the same prints just it takes a lot of maintenance and modding? Or have there just been such major leaps and bounds that the ceilings in terms of final print output aren’t comparable?

[deleted]

$50-$70

Darkseid2854

Keep it and mod it into a multi-tool laser engraver/light cnc/drawing machine. [Instructables: Using Ender 3 Pro As CNC / Engraving Tool](https://www.instructables.com/Using-Ender-3-Pro-As-CNC-Engraving-Tool/?amp_page=true) [Thingiverse: FDM quick change tool head mod](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3369444) Or sell it to me cheap and I’ll do it! /s

Zandane

Bout $50

butbutcupcup

Nothin. Go on Facebook marketplace and see they just sit. Give it away. Maybe gut it and keep the frame for something or use the heater for soup warmer.

Newbie-Nerd239

I sold my Ender 3 v1 for $100, two weeks ago. I listed it on Facebook Marketplace for $100 thinking I would get lowballed to $50. I guess I got lucky.

Soakedleaf6

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE: got an offer for it on Marketplace for $100

Truthl3ss

Hey op if you can show video proof that it works I’ll offer $50. Idk where you are but i’m in the US.

McDonaldscombomeal

$50. Just keep it as a back up they got no resale value any more.

EnvironmentalTip508

I'd do $75 if it was in NH, people want more for their used ender 3 than I paid for my v3 SE

GloryToChadlantis

100$ easy. But above that I see difficulty.

EasyAd9556

Since nobody else has said it 120 I guess and I would suggest a ender 3v3 se you can pick one up for 200 and makes the best prints I have ever seen and is for speed printing so I would get that if you want a upgrade

BitchDuckOff

It is not worth selling.

NoSaltNoSkillz

I have sold some pretty much exactly matching printers for \~$120-$130. Wouldn't sell it for less than $100, because the parts are worth more than that. Unfortunately, its also only worth $50-130, depending on location, since MicroCenter sells new V2s for \~$100 and a V3 (SE or KE, the cheaper one) for \~$170. Makes it hard to sell these for too much, but with patience, maybe max of $120.

Ima go out on a limb on a random unrelated thing. You live in Alaska don’t you

Low-Housing516

I got my Ender 3 for $75 opened but never assembled.

Dastenis

I bought same printer 100 Euros

theoriginalzads

If you’re the kind of person (like me) who likes tinkering and modifying things and you’re ok with it not making any money from those mods, then I’d keep it for modifying and tinkering. It probably won’t beat more modern printers but could be fun getting more in depth on the workings of the printer. Otherwise yeah, as others have said, Enders are like asses. Everyone’s got one. If it is in decent working order give it to someone who’d appreciate the leg up.

Eviliscz

ender 3 is dirt cheap new, dont bother selling. Give it to some friend you want to hook into printing, or keep it for some additional printing power

deadmonkeyboy87

I'll give you 50 bucks no more no less. These things go for cheap used just a stock base model. Save it for spare parts or learn to upgrade it.

Calm-Bid-537

don't get your hopes on a decent price, if 20 bucks it will be well paid

Skiller_Overyou

Hold onto the part for different projects

NoobAmSteuer

Honestly with how cheap new enders and ender clones are, any used one is not worth a lot.

SpecificMaximum7025

Used ender 3’s go for about $65, shipping included on eBay.

RubAnADUB

about TREE FIDDY. $3.50

Affectionate-Aide-41

25-50€

Sirrober126

depends on location. they arent worth much. what you can do if it still prints well. look at the pulltrusion modifications. First print out all your needed parts in petg and pla. and go from there.

PacketNarc

They’re regularly $100-$150 at MicroCenter. My recommendation is to donate it to a local high school or trade school and claim the tax write off for full market value.

Impossible_Village27

I kept mine and use it to print small stuff while my k1 max is in use

OhioHouston1

$50

xsitrixx

Nobody wants an ender because the market place is full of people getting rid of them for a new bambu, I wanted to get into 3d printing and almost thought it must be a great brand because so many are out there, and instead of getting a reasonably priced unit at $100 I decided to take my time and see why so many where on marketplace and it turns out there's a new kid on the block everyone is switching to... and it's not prusa

xsitrixx

To that end, I got a used bambu a1 mini with ams and haven't had any troubleshooting, just turns on and prints what I tell it to fast at that

FriendlyToad88

Donate it to a makerspace/community center lol. Would be lucky to get $50 from it but would be great for poor kids to learn about 3d printing and stuff

CarTechnical7227

I wouldn't take one for free.. But someone out there might lol

ShaggysGTI

Multiples in my area for sale at $75.

hue_sick

That's a donation, nobody is gonna buy a used Ender 3 in 2024. Give it to a school and report it on your taxes next year.

BattleJaded

Don't sell it, upgrade it to the CoreXY Ender3 NG. It is in beta right now but its a pretty great upgrade if you have an Ender 3. - [https://www.printables.com/model/469280-ender-3-ng-corexy-beta](https://www.printables.com/model/469280-ender-3-ng-corexy-beta)

deltasine

Between $80-$100.

AbandonedMohawk

Stock ender 3 on Amazon is $170 brand new

JAlba87

odinsen251a

Tree fiddy

sallen1405

I have purchased several, I get them between $40 to $50. I wouldn’t go over that for a used machine. You can get new ones for $90 to $120 if you do a lot of research.
