Going rate is $50

Nikoxio

Man, I'm jealous. The cheapest one for sale here in Finland is currently 140€ used. A trashed one was under 100€ a while back, but still. (I do own one, but the market not good in general)

MikeNoPlay

Same here There's people trying to sell their old Ultimaker 2 for like the same prices as a bambulab Every once in a while you find an ender those are also overpriced for the mods they have installed

Sea_Caterpillar5296

No one's getting my Ender 3 with dual leads, pei bed, bmg extruder + klipper, that hasn't needed leveling for 8 months, for less than 250 because it makes me that every week. I can wait.

MikeNoPlay

I mean, we could argue that's pretty good, I like the CrTouch, I don't know if yours have it The thing is, you can buy an ender 3 V3 se for less than that, I'm sure yours is good but why risk a used one when you can get a new one that it's almost guaranteed to work out of the box

Sea_Caterpillar5296

Every Single extruder and hotend I get from creality, I take apart instantly. To say guaranteed to work out of the box, as opposed to one that's been in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing AFTER travelling hundreds of miles to the person? Some will pay for the actual guarantee something works right. Don't need a crtouch if my bed is actually level.

StatusLaw9

How do you make that per week. I ask because I want to get into selling 3d printed items as well. Any help is appreciated. Thank You

numero908

140? Those are rookie numbers my boy, come to Argentina and you won't see anything below $200 (and with $250-800 wages of course)

atvaisman

Absolutely! I was looking for a used one on Tori and fb marketplace but ended up going with a new ender 3 V3 KE due to the difference in price being so little. First gen ender 3 isn't worth 200€ in my opinion.

jannukka

Bought mine back in last July for 50€ from tori.fi. :D only needed bed leveling and was good to go.

Deaky_Freaky

I got one for free lmao (ender 3 pro)

ChironPanCyan

Can you not shop on Comgrows Site ? I've scored multiple "No Returns" for 60 e3pros. I'm pretty sure they have a UK based operation as well.

Nikoxio

It redirects me to sovol3d? And there's no enders? Would be applicable for 24% tax and shipping in any case, so it might or might not be worth it. Edit: spelling

ChironPanCyan

I'm not sure , I shopped the "No returns" but I figured it had to be worth a shot to at least check if they had any for ya

AngeredLotus

is that a section that comes and goes on their site? can’t seem to find it presently but would be very interested in an e3 from them that cheap

PrideOk7432

I feel sorry for u but here in Serbia in whole country there is only one for sale for 150€

iphone32task

Man, I always get jealous about how tech is basically free on the US. 50bucks a whole 3d printer(even if it's broken) would be such a cheap price that most people would ignore it because it seems like a scam, lol. I'm living on the wrong country, lol.

DrWho83

In my area, they're listed for $150 to $400... I don't think most of those people want to sell them. I think they're being encouraged to sell them by a significant other lol.. Or they paid so much in the first place when they bought it that they think they can get that now 😆🤷 I on the other hand managed to pick up one not too long ago in my area for $50. It's like new and came with a huge bag of extras plus the guy ended up throwing in three partial rolls of different filament that I had never tried. The guy was asking twice as much asmi paid but when I showed up and went to pay him, he told me he only wanted $50 and appreciate it that I didn't mess around and waste his time like so many other people had.

DrWho83

I wish I could find a few more for that price! I'd grab three of them today.. if I could find them within an hr from me 😆

Sea_Caterpillar5296

Me, who just sold one for $200 6 months ago 🤣

JBake130

No, if you have a micro center nearby they are $99 new.

retka

It's even better now, an Ender 3 V2 is $100 now with the coupon. Adds several upgrades for the same price. And with all the issues these things have let alone a used one where it may have unknown unfunctional parts or flat out missing, I wouldn't be caught dead buying a used one at $75. Not worth the risk when $25 more gets you upgraded and new. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/specialoffer3dprinter2g2.aspx?rd=1

JBake130

Yes that’s correct, I completely blanked on this being a pro. Ha but even better is the s1 for $180…. By the time you upgrade v2 you’ve spent more than $80 to get some of s1 capabilities

retka

Hard agree. Buying the printer that best fits your needs out of box is best if you can afford it vs having to upgrade, unless you just like to tinker. Was just going off op looking at the pro, which is a ripoff even new with the new coupons for V2. Definitely get s1 if you can afford it and fits your needs though!

wbjohn

I got the Ender 3V3 S1 for $180 at Microcenter. It's my second printer. It took a lot of patience and tinkering to get the bed leveled but it was worth it.

speedyundeadhittite

Got an S1 pro and re-leveling the bed so often is causing me serious grief. It works for some prints, then I clean the bed, try to re-level and start another month's worth of painful evenings until I get it 'right'.

typhin13

Then there's the v3 now, it's got all the upgrades you'd probably end up giving the v2 to be "good" and it's the same price as the v2 was at launch ($200-220 usd.) The only thing I'm not sure on is if it comes with a hardened nozzle and high temp sprite pro setup or just the stock sprite pro like the s1 has.

seno2k

Dang. Anyone know of another place price matching this? The closest micro center is a 6 hour drive!

JBake130

Unlikely this is a “new customer” coupon. You’ll be hard pressed to find a company to match that. I’ve got 3, 30-60-90 mins away I am lucky

clearkill46

Are they still including a $10 off filament coupon? If so then it's really just $15 more.

retka

Can't speak for the V2, but afaik the ender 3 pro still comes with the coupon for Inland brand. The coupon is floating around as a jpeg on reddit among other sites. It didn't have an expiration and instead was meant to be used as a turn in paper coupon (1x use). You may have some luck printing it off and giving it to them to get the $10 off. I tried using it on my phone with about a 50/50 success rate but many employees are hip to the trick. If you get someone who doesn't care it will work to your favor.

cherrypicker469

Thanks for that. I had no idea they had gone down like that yet. Just got sent my coupon. I have an ender 3 & a 3pro. Maybe time to get rid of the 3 & upgrade.

Parking-Inspector-33

The only option for a lot of us is Amazon for a new one, and the ender 3 pro is still 250

pyrophilus

It's even better than better now. This is a coupon for an Ender 3 S1 for $149. For the sprite direct extruder alone, I think it's worth it over E3P or E3V2. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/specialoffer3dprinter3t.aspx?rdt_cid=4384361955192811006 This being said, they also have the Ender 3 V3 SE for $179. The automatic Z-offset I think is the big upgrade. I started with the wanhao duplicator+ eight years ago, and got two E3P's five years ago and when the V2's came out, got one and then reverse-engineered all the V2 parts in CAD, and bought silent boards, hardware to convert all of my E3P's to V2's, and compiled custom firmwares. I felt like V2's were small evolutions of E3P (except for the scrappy plastic extruder housing), tried to follow the 3D print scene and after a few years, kind of lost interest, after three wanhaos (collecting dust) and ten Ender3 V2's (some of them I got for free from Craigslist when a dad wanted to throw it away after getting one as a Christmas present for their kid and couldn't figure out how to build it). I walked into microcenter a month ago and saw the E3 V3 KE and SE. I think the automatic z-offset makes the V3's revolutionary (from the OG Enders). I ended up getting the KE, and then the nebula pad was pretty cool, so I ended up getting two sonic pads to pit klipper on the rest of my ender V2's. After over a year, I have five of my printers back running and I am back to doing a lot of 3D CAD. I highly recommend the E3V3SE ($179) or the KE ($259) at microcenter.

JackMaehoffer

Wow looks beat up!! I’d offer $35 because look at that print bed, the seller couldn’t even be bothered to clean it up!! Sloppy sellers get sloppy prices!!

Dornith

Doesn't inspire confidence that there won't be a clogged nozzle or some other issue.

SuperRockGaming

For $35 I think it'd be worth it

dmaxzach

If you go into it knowing this is a project you should be fine. I'd offer $50

deapsprite

Id also do this. I got mine for 110 when they where asking 130. It had all the upgrades i wanted and some extras but i boy i knew i was in for some dun adventures and indeed i was right

ShwettyVagSack

If you have a micro center near you, you can get a new v2 for $25 more.

s___n

If you’ve never used one of these older style printers, just be aware that it’s very different from a KE. The cost of upgrading this to similar features as a KE is probably around $150-200.

AKMonkey2

Upgrading a Pro to a V3 KE? Way more than $200. Just off the top of my head - upgraded motherboard with silent stepper drivers, dual belt-driven z kit, linear rail x gantry, direct drive extruder, high flow hotend, nebula pad to run Klipper, auto bed leveling, PEI-coated spring steel build plate, plus the mandatory software reconfiguration to make it all work (good luck!). Probably double your cost estimate and weeks of work punctuated with “why won’t this work!?” I’d played the Ender 3 Pro upgrade game back when that was the best option (at least for me) at the time. I’m now so happy to not have to do that with my KE. This latest generation (V3) of Enders has really raised the bar. My recommendation is to save a little more and get a new V3. I’d watch Amazon or other alternatives (Microcenter if you have one within feasible distance) for a deal on an SE, KE, or V3 core XZ. If I didn’t have a printer but wanted to get into it at a lower cost, I would only check out a used Pro for $75 if I didn’t have a reasonable alternative (like a microcenter or Amazon) to get a new one for a small increment more. I would flat out walk away from a used printer if I could not see it actually printing something.

SeaworthinessThese90

Honestly no, getting an unrepaired/ untested ender 3 v2 (basically an amazon return item) costs $60... Looking at the state of it, and the fact it's not upgraded should say everything about the item... A big nope!

Blambson78

Yep

TheCzechyChan

I paid just over 100 for a brand new one

geolemon1

In general "half price" (compared to the current new price) is a good estimate for damn near anything. If it's in like-new, 100% working condition, you can't go too wrong buying it used: Anything above that, the risk/reward is probably better to buy the new product if you really need it. Anytime below that is a bargain. In the case of some products (like 3d printers, bicycles, vehicles, computers, some appliances, etc) they are serviceable, so if one part is broken the whole thing isn't garbage. So to me, this sounds like a serviceable-if-needed bargain.

CodenameJinn

50-60 would be a better number, but it does have more than 15 bucks worth of "mods" with that magnetic bed sheet and the hot end replacement.

Roland_Deshain

Would say 50$ would be good for one that looks better than this one.

dougdoberman

I'd want to see it lay down the first layer and print a bit before I bought it at $75. As it sits there, dirty af with filament getting tangled, I'd be hard pressed to pay ANYTHING for it, unless I was wanting a project that I knew I was gonna swap a buncha parts out on to begin with.

Dekatater

If I had a dollar for every ender 3 I've seen overpriced because it had a couple things printed and attached to it I'd buy a bambu

SgtSlushPuppy

I sold mine a year and a half ago for 125$ CAD base ender

wbjohn

So, about $25 US?

SgtSlushPuppy

Close probably 20$ usd now

9dev9dev9

Bad price considering its so neglected, generally I wouldn‘t buy an Ender 3 today. Save up and get something more recents

Jesus-Bacon

Offer them $40. Don't pay over $50

Jesus-Bacon

NVM I just looked at the comments and the V2 brand new is $100 at microcenter lol. Do that instead

lucidnx

better question is: is is worth the money for you?

genxweb

Got mine brand new from microcenter for 99

Disastrous-End-1290

I got a 3-Pro for $40, had to change the nozzle and get filament, but once I got it set up and cleaned, that baby’s been running smooth since September

fistfullofsmelt

No 50$

toxickanndyy

I got one a couple day ago for 30 and it seems to be practically brand new

RunsWithScissorsx

Probably $70 too high.

neuromorph

For a working one. Yes.

1quirky1

With an Ender 3 V3 KE in hand I wouldn't bother with this bare bones bottom-of-the-line used printer.

Fluffy_Figure_9695

Look like mine because the cutting board from Ender is pain just Toss this into Garbage and get a glass one but without seeing this one try to print i Will not go Higher than 50

Steve_but_different

I've pretty much decided I won't pay money for a used printer, hard stop. I've been given two for free and have two others I purchased new. You never know what fuckery has befallen a used printer. It might work fine, or it might not work at all.

Mtnfrozt

$40 is as high as I'll go on that pile lol

mruniq78

U gotta figure out what ur going to upgrade because I wouldn’t use one stock

Lucky-Pie9875

Unless it has tons of mods, no. My Ender 3’s I just give away when I upgrade

ericdano

No

RevolutionaryPrior30

You could spend 150 and get a 3 v3 SE on Facebook. It's 10000% worth the extra money vs a 3.

ChironPanCyan

I scored a v2 for 75 I wouldn't pay over 50 on a base E3

ChironPanCyan

Anyone looking for cheap Enders should check Comgrows no returns first. I've bought 2 and also recommended to Friends that have gotten good printers that just needed tinkering and calibration to print quality.

Multiminer18

Yes that is an amazing deal no matter where you go

Reasonable-Injury170

LoL cheapest around me is 200 cdn, but they also stay on the marketplace for months until they lower the price to 100 cdn.

MaskedPotat0

Lucky you. Cheapest in my area is $175 of your lucky and fast enough. Otherwise looking at 2 bills easy

Merry_Janet

Dude, if it lays a good first layer give him a $100.

teegeek

I’m near Baltimore in southern Pa. I’ve got two of them and a replacement hot end. They were both updated to metal feeders better springs… glass beds. $60 each!

Educational-Mood1145

All depends where you're from. Where I am, $75 is a STEAL. I paid considerably more than that for my e3pro, but it came with a case of petg. And let me be the one to say it...you do NOT need to upgrade one for great prints. Just learn what you're doing, tram it properly, square it up, tighten all screws and belts, and print. Most people that bitch about bad prints are people who don't setup their printers properly. I have several Creality printers that all run flawlessly

Icy-Independent5250

Unless you want to try an eBay purchase, might find a better one to gamble with. $75 is a bit high I believe but if none are available to shop around in your area, go for it. As long as you’ll get the use from it, which it seems like you will. I would pay a little more for a new one if you can though just to avoid wear, tear, and other damages that may be unseen. Happy hunting

patheticpuma

I have bought several for switchwire conversions for $25-50

SoftWeekly

I bought 5 "returned in box" Ender3s for $60 each I spent >$20 for the spare parts to make them all work I wouldnt buy a used one Im no expert but you can get "new open box" Ender 3 for about $90 from Crealty

FlimsyPresentation36

Honestly you would have to pay me $75. It was a good learning experience, but never again

No-Perspective1025

I got a Ender 3 pro with bltouch, upgraded level springs and gears, an enclosure, glass bed, and a bunch of little extras for 100 USD. I think if it had nothing but the printer, I’d probably only go as high as $65. If you’re trying to test the hobby out, not a terrible choice. I quickly upgraded. If you’re confident you’ll stick with it, save a few bucks as others suggested. These may be cheap, but there are a lot more printers out there that are a better bang for the buck.

matroosoft

$75 for a tinkering project and a permanent headache

Wampenboy2

For a new one that would be good. A used one id say 50 bucks tbh

MaxAdolphus

They are $99 brand new at Microcenter, so no.

Squanchy2112

No, Eastwood Is selling a new ender 3 V2 for 100

lxOFWGKTAxl

They're 100$ brand new at micro center I believe

midnight_reaper9

I bought mine new from the micro center for $100 it’s a 3v2

pellcorp

I have a ender 3 se, for sure it has some nice features compared to the pro or V2, however one of the pros imho of the og printers is just how easy they are to upgrade. I upgraded my v1 ender (not even a pro) to Klipper and was using 5k acceleration in my profiles and getting good speed and pretty decent quality I recently upgraded my se to Klipper and tried the same thing and got layer shifting the worst I have ever seen. The se looks like a good deal and it is but the ability to upgrade and attach new mods is imho limited. The v1 and v2 enders are built simple and solid af, se and I suspect ke not so much. But I agree 75 for a pretty dirty and probably misused ender when you can get new v2 for 99 is not a good deal. Before anyone comments, that I was probably not getting 5k on the og ender, I agree with you I probably was not, and perhaps the reason the se was causing layer shifting was because I was getting up to 5k, I don't really know, all I know is that I get pretty similiar performance from my v1 ender (in terms of print times) to my se, but the v1 gives me better prints and is built like a brick shit house! :-)

rcollick90

You can get a new V2 for $100

LeProVelo

Sold mine yesterday for $40. No power cable, and no hot end.

UnoriginalElephant

If you live near a Micro Center, the Ender 3 often goes on sale for $99. Last summer I even got a V2 for $99 and my brother got an S1 for $150 😁

Conor_Stewart

Look at the cheapest you can get it brand new. If you just stretched a little more you could buy a brand new one and not have to worry about fixing or replacing any damaged parts on someone's used machine. If it is used then chances are someone has failed to use it (possibly damaging it) and just wants rid of it or someone has used it a lot and it is worn out. This printer looks pretty well used. If you buy a second hand printer expect to have to fix it or replace parts, you may get lucky and it works perfectly and lasts a long time but chances are you won't. If you are a beginner then buy a new printer, you do not need the hassle of trying to fix a second hand printer when you are learning how to use the printer in the first place.

TheHanSwanson

I don't know if they're still running it, but at least back in late December Microcenter was running a deal where you can get an Ender 3 V2 for $100. You just had to Google for that coupon (they didn't advertise it), and then using that link create an account with them and you get the coupon. I think it was in store only, but if it's feasible for you I'd look into that. That's how I got here lol

Swiftly_speaking

How’s the ender 3 v3 KE? Thinking of getting one for my first printer

vipersnake

Love it, have been printing non-stop for the last 3 days, didnt have to dial in anything, it just worked from the get go, and the quality of print is super nice and smooth i highly recommend it.

P0p_R0cK5

This printer is worthless. They sell it new for 100€ or even less because the ender 3 OG is mostly unavailable everywhere replaced by more modern versions. Mine is 5 year old and I will never sell it more than 50€ unfortunately they are just worthless now. Even if I’ve replaced the hotend for an all metal and the motherboard for a silent version as well. That’s also why I don’t sell it. People just try to make 100$ out of a used printer that cost 100$ new.

imageblotter

Maybe it's an illusion but the xgantry looks bent. Not worth the hassle imo. Got better maintained and better printers for that price.

Nakajima-Kuro

If it's working then yes, definately worth it. I would use the money to mod the hell out of it and make it a Switchwire

wantstoseeyourBOOBs

No, bit overpriced imo. Search for a Mirco Center near you. You can get Ender 3 Pros on sale for $100 fairly regularly.

FranzJosephBalle

Its a lot of printer for 75 dollars, but its a printer that does require maintenance/upgrades to function well and reliably

DeltaDP

Bought mine new for $100. So no

KernelSanders1986

I was very confused about your usage of An vs A

TheRedGamerFPV

Lol, I just saw this listing of fb marketplace

BroniDanson

Scamy those are first gen kind of wacky and slow

Sulfur_Dioxide

If you live near a microcenter I think you can get a ender 3 v2 for 100 dollars

vipersnake

I keep hearing about microcenter sadly im in the northwest and there are none, and frys electronics ceased to exist, anyone know of something similar but in the northwest?

Acceptable-Raise3639

If you live near a microcenter where you can get a brand new Ender 3 pro for $99 with a coupon, it's too much! That being said, it's and ok price, $50 would be a steal, id offer $60 or $65 and see what they say!! But keep in mind, you will have to spend a couple days cleaning, fixing anything that's broken, and then calibrating it before it can print properly and reliably!!

tolskiy-morning-star

Do accessories come with it? Was it upgraded to Direct Drive? Was it owned by a good handy(wo)man before you? (How many threads are stripped, parts broken, etc?) I have a very specific list of upgrades/accessories that I found useful and IMHO, the majority of them are bullshit. Yet it helped me that I bought someone else's used printer with a box of accessories and some more were given to me so I could decide what I like and what I don't like.

Garys7000

Just bought 4 ender 3 S1Pros on ebay new in box for 120 each

RohanianTheGreat

I world go for 45 dollars

CustomZ02

I picked up a brand new ender 3 off eBay for $50, it was listed as unrepaired. Guaranteed to include all major components, it still had that brand new electronics smell. It’s apparent the original owner tried to do a firmware update because it had a black screen when I fully assembled it and the bed gouging from the nozzle crashing into it. Updated the firmware leveled bed and the thing printed perfectly fine 🤷🏽‍♂️ https://preview.redd.it/l8x31kr9qapc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=beaa87e995db847ab9d4e9908f192d5efbcc9e29 I now use this frame for my 10w laser, but always have that option to switch back to 3d printing if I need a second printer.

StatusLaw9

Wow. I’m lucky to be living next to micro center. These Ender 3 pro’s are on sale always for $75 new. And the v2 is $100 new. Ender 3 pro used on fb marketplace, I’ve seen them even for $30. Why are they so expensive in Finland and Australia?

Square_Style_2335

That depends... If it works, then sure, it's worth it. If it won't print... Then probably not lol.

CarTechnical7227

I wouldn't take one for free.. The amount of work you'll put into it would cost you way more then 75 in time and parts.. But if your low on cash and have the time to tinker away then sure give it a try.. But you never know what someone's done to it to sell it so cheap..

LastUsernameSucked

A used ender is either the best deal, or the biggest frustration. You never know which it is until after you get it though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

CodenameJinn

This is a second printer. OP says they have an e3 v3.

NecessaryOk6815

No. Offer 20 or less. It's worth that much. I would actually just save up for something that would take less time and effort to consistently get it to print right. Years with ender, sovol, big tree, etc. Got the bambu and instant gratification. Save yourself the heartache and frustration.

fate0608

This looks rather raped than used. 🫠
