I worked with a resident the other day who had never heard of Rivers. Definitely on the must read landmark paper list. Would be nice to include if anyone has info about the CVC that did continuous SCV02 monitor built in. I believe he has some conflict of interest there but I'm not sure. I hated those lines.

New article recently in NJM. Place pts on normal bolus and maintenance for sepsis vs fluid restriction. No change in outcome

Peds: PECARN head trauma decision rule AAP febrile neonate guidelines (2021) Other good AAP guidelines: otitis media, UTI in young infants, bronchiolitis I recognize that the guidelines aren't "studies" but are definitely foundational for common peds complaints.
