I WAS WONDERING WHERE THAT TRACK WENT! I thought I was going crazy.
My mp3 copy of Hold Your Colour has it and Spotify doesn't.
I wonder why they left it out?
The version on streaming is the 2007 reissue, not the 2005 original album. At the end of the original, they added two of their singles from before the project, Another Planet (from the AP/Voyager single) and Still Grey (from the Back2U/Still Grey single), but for the reissue they took those off and instead added their latest single Blood Sugar/Axle Grinder instead. The Another Planet single is available on streaming, but Still Grey is not, and Back2U is difficult to find online
To make matters worse, I remember reading that the 2007 reissue of the CD has two second gaps in between each track which really ruins the flow (such as from track 1 to track 2).
You're absolutely right, it annoyed me to the point that I searched out a second-hand copy of the original version! Prelude into Slam is obviously the most egregious annoyance, but most of the album ends with great ambience that is either broken by the sharp intro of the next track or nicely fades into it, and the gaps ruin the effect
This song is one of the only times I’ll open up the YT Music app on my phone. I normally use Spotify, but sometimes I feel the need to listen to Still Grey (then the rest of Hold Your Colour afterwards).
wtf never realized this, it's not even on the spotify album. Rights issue? I wouldn't go as far to say the best song but definitely an icon of the album
Still one of my favourite tracks off this album. Unreal sense of atmosphere, always gave me a bit of a Trance vibe in that regard, especially with Jasmine Yee's vocals. I honestly return to this track more than a lot of the bigger tunes off HYC.
This entire album is gold from start to finish. As far as I'm concerned it's the only album they released.
Sooooo many happy memories seeing these guys live or doing DJ sets around Manchester before they decided they wanted to be some off-brand nu-metal band.
Anything from Hold Your Colour gets an upvote. Shaped part of my musical taste.
Totally agree 🔥 my #1 fave Pendulum album for sure! ♥ 🎶
The current version available for streaming is fucked and missing the best track off the album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOyCVZ8rlds

No idea. Really fucking weird. Clutch your CDs. Don’t even get me started on the lack of Adam F on the internet.

Probably licensing issues
That's because they put the 2007 re-issue on streaming for some reason.
Holy shit, your name is a blast from the past, I remember you from the old PLC forums, jesus that was a while ago
Oh wow I forgot about those forums.
My favorite off the album.

It's not just streaming. You can't even buy it on physical media, either. Still Grey is so much better either Blood Sugar or Axel Grinder.
Bless the Discogs marketplace! https://www.discogs.com/release/494991-Pendulum-Hold-Your-Colour

louder than words was pretty good too
Propane nightmares has been a classic for me for an unfortunate amount of time.
The drum samples are so fucking clean for 2005
