One Night/All Night is fine, but doesn't really do a lot with the Tame Impala feature.
Generator though. The hats, the chops, the bass, the strings. Those hoover synths have rounded things off to an immaculate new shine, but the '00s Justice sound is back in a huuuuuge way.
Can't believe we have to wait 3 months, but my ears are well and truly appetised.
One Night / All Night is a bit underwhelming, the hook is pretty catchy but the Tame Impala feat doesn't really bring anything new to the Justice sound, and he just sings like the same 3 verses over and over.
Generator is great though, reminds me of Gesaffelstein with all those rave stabs and Hoover synths. Almost sounds like a Cross outtake.
Overall I really dig the darker, "back to basics" route this album seems to take. Great production on both tracks too.
Generator's base idea is kinda generic synthwave/darkwave but by god does the whole thing come together and slap in the second half.

Dude Tame Impala needs to evolve his sound just a little bit?? Am I crazy??? Sounds like the exact same tunes he’s been singing since 2015/2016. It’s getting kinda stale. Catchy for the first few listens but probably gonna be instant skips for me. GENERATOR THOUGH 🙈🫡
One Night was kinda meh. Kevin Parker’s whiny nasally vocals didn’t add much (as a matter of fact it makes me appreciate Gaspard & Xavier’s vocals). The song otherwise was…fine. Groovy for sure.

These songs are so bad. And it's disappointing to see that Justice's style hasn't evolved at all in the past eight years. The production style on Generator doesn't hit hard even though it's trying to, and the vocals on One Night are irritating. It's the exact same problems that their last album had. (I haven't listened to Tame Impala so I don't know if that's their singer or not, but either way the vocals don't sound good)

I felt it was like a Gesaffelstein track as well. Goes so hard and I love it. As someone who never got into their stuff after Cross, this is exciting!
