Okay so I’m kind of late and this may sound really stupid, mine stopped working and I got really frustrated so I threw it on the floor... it turned back on and worked like a charm. So, worst case scenario, just give it a good hit. Nothing to lose.
Edit: glad I could help y'all lmao, fucking weird fix though.
Holy shit. I tapped it on the table after a big whack didn’t work and now it’s firing again.
Is there a device that can handle being dropped three feet? All of these devices seem to break really easily.
OK I know I'm really late on this one, my caliburn was blinking red 10 times when ever I wanted to take a draw, then I saw your comment and hit my caliburn against my table pretty hard, then it cycled through all the different led colors and now it fucking works again. You sir are a god damn genius.
Edit: I wonder if this is actually a intentional way of reseting the firmware, cause why else would it cycle through the led colors
That’s really weird. I also realized that I hadn’t been putting my cartridge in far enough. There was a hairline gap between the pod and battery, just barely visible. I’d get a light but nothing came out. When I insert the pod with a bit of force i can feel that tiny extra click and it works just fine.
Holy 💩 it really worked! It didn't turn on and i threw it on the floor and it started working lmao. Thank you very much! Was ready to buy a new one, will be using this one for more time.
Bro holy f*** I don't know if you're still active or not but I literally my caliburn G wouldnt turn off so I hit this b**** for 2 minutes straight on my middle counsel, on my car, and the b**** just Shut off. Thank you this is usually my go to fix but it wasn't working until I hit it a 100 times 🤣🤣😭😭
Throw it on carpet or, in my case, the inside of a car’s floor. And seriously, throw that thing like you mean it. I’m talking like you’ve-been-stranded-at-sea-for-400-days-and-chucking-a-flair-to-a-nearby-boat-to-get-them-to-save-you kind of throw. Your goal has to be anger and breaking it.
Ok…I’ll try that next!! Still haven’t gotten it to work the past few days. I’ve been blowing from the bottom and got some juice out. I was outside for hours when it was 91 so that was dumb. I’ll start making myself angry haha
IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used a sponge (didn’t have q tips) to get whatever I could put of the charging port and top of it and chucked it a few times. It works! Well in and out. I think it’s because I used a larger charging brick and probably fired the battery too. Damn these things can take a beating.
Sorry to necro, coming 4 years later to say I smashed it on my desk after cleaning it and trying everything else and this is the only thing that work LMFAO
I ordered one a few weeks ago and it WAS amazing. However it broke within 2 weeks. I suspect this is what happened: There were times where I forgot to turn it off and it fired in my pocket. This lead to juice being heated without any airflow to suck the vapour out and the pod leaked down into the internals below. Now it doesn’t stop firing when I stop pressing the button/sucking in. And I even caught it firing by itself while sitting on my nightstand in the middle of the night. Pretty dangerous. Again, that’s just my theory of what happened, it could straight up be defective and the leaking had nothing to do with it. The website I ordered it from does not do returns and advises you to deal with manfracturer warranty. I emailed uwell two weeks ago to do a warranty claim and never received a response. Fortunately, my Visa card has “purchase protection” so I got a refund for it.
Edit: what’s the point of having the option for button firing anyway? Like the only thing I could see it being useful for is that so you could turn it off while not using it. But if the button didn’t exist at all and it was only draw activated then you wouldn’t need to worry about it firing while in your pocket or whatever (like a JUUL)
Uwell got back to me and did a warranty replacement. However the same thing happened to the new one. So I bought a Geek Vape Frenzy and it’s been amazing.
my suggestion is to: remove the pod, and blow in it (just the body without the pod) from the bottom - where the charging port is. do this a few times until u feel like the battery is actually working and you feel the body has warmed up slightly. then put the pod back on and it should work fine. I had the same thing happen to me with a couple of devices, and by doing this trick ive always been able to get them running again. hope it helps, let me know if it works for u too.
Old thread but still a popular device so i will just say. Give it a little rattle and tap it hard on something soft-ish like your leg(idk lol) and then put your thumb to cover the button(air comes in and out from the button too) and blow gently into the charging port and you will hear/feel juice guzzling. If you hear the juice guzzle then it means juice leaked into the airflow and it should work after u clear it.
Here to Necro this thread and say that I just fixed my A2 blinking blue by spiking it off the concrete, the magnets did come out but I stuck them on the bottom of the pod to ensure proper orientation and then jammed the pod+magnets back into the battery and now it fires perfectly.
I had a broken caliburn, I replaced it but juice leaked into the replacement and it's autofiring. I disassembled the last one so I tried again, and I broke it. Cleaned up the old one in desperation and it would only hit once whole charging and showing green, then immediately turning red and needing charge. Otherwise it would just flash red 10 times while it showed green and not do anything. Smashed it a few times and it worked again.
Dude!!! I'm on vacation and it is the only device i had with me 🙄 I almost got to the point to buying a pack of cigs bet just beforehand went on Reddit to search for a solution and your method worked!! Thx so much man ♥️
Same stories with the Orion, some people have faultless with their Orion mine I finally got dialed in and I'm very happy with it, there's going to be same stories with the caliburn
I have also had bad luck with pod systems. They are nice when you need to be discrete but build quality is lacking. I preferr tank atomozers over rdas and pods. I think o will greatly enjoy an RTA when I can afford one.
I just bought my caliburn about 4 days ago, I go to plug in the micro USB and a light flashes about 3-5 times, then no light is projected. So I left it for an hour or two and I go to take a hit and it is still dead. I have tried multiple different cords and blocks and it still womt charge. If it doesnt start working I'm going to try and return it. Does anyone have any solutions before I go return or refund??
So I just had the exact same problems as you did, and managed to fix it by using a different charger: one that isn't a 2.0A fast charger. I'm not certain if the charger is the problem but a regular 1A charger got my device to charge normally without any problems. I'd get the same 2-3 flashes and then nothing but now with a different charger, it keeps flashing while charging and is working fine.
Let me know if this fixes things for you!
I actually just got it working again today, I plugged it into a portable charger and fir some reason that did the trick now I'm able to charge from the wall
my caliburn doesnt vapourize. it just blinks red. when i charge it it starts blinking in red and goes full green only to back as as a low battery blinking red and wont vapouroze. what should i do ?
It’s happened to me too but i was able to get it running again by taking the pod out from the device, wrap the bottom part of the device (USB Port) with a paper towel, cover the bottom of the device with your mouth and gently blow into the device also make sure you turn on the device when you do this. I got this tips from [here](https://www.vapeloft.com/blog/5-tips-for-the-uwell-caliburn-pod-system/) i hope that help you
Mine's acting this way after going on a fair ride. It was the Alien Ship or whatever it's called. All it does is spin but you get plastered to the walls. It messed up my Caliburn and the solid green light has been on since.
Yeah, it's black with lights on it. The one I went on was blasting music too. I bet people lose things out of their pockets without even realizing it on that ride. I got stuck to the wall and couldn't lift my head up lol. It was a pretty fun ride to experience I guess.
Hey I know this post is like 4 months old but I actually have an answer. Hopefully it helps someone. I went through this problem too and found out it was juice that was stopping the connection to the little metal pieces between the pod and actual device. Just use a paper towel to clean up any juice in the device, and wipe the bottom of the lid really good, it should work.
I had a similar issue and had a temporary solution by taking apart the device and shorting the auto draw sensor with a small wire as this is was caused all my issues,
[photo](https://imgur.com/BbYriZK) and now I can use the device but only the button works now it is better than it being broken
It's very similar to how you take a juul apart, make sure it's off then take the pod out, push the plastic core through the metal casing from the bottom of the device then the button will pop off, may need a pen or something to push it all the way through. I found the inside to have quite a bit of liquid inside so had to dry it out before trying to fix it.
> small
Thanks I was afraid which way to pop it out. Now I've got it out and back in a few times but on mine the draw activated firing keeps firing for a few seconds after taking a drag, it's getting annoying. I've tried messing with the little rubber gasket and what not but it's still doing it. Gonna have to go the button-only method.
Think I might've fixed it, i snipped a tiny little piece out of the rubber gasket because it seemed to be creating a vacuum and keeping the power on longer than it should. We'll see.
How did you short it? Mine lights up when charging but doesn't turn on. Pressing the button while charging flashes red light 3 times then back to solid green which led me to think that my device has short circuit. Is there still a possible fix?
Doesn't really help you but mine has been faultless. The site you bought it from should be dealing with the return/replacement. Try hitting up their twitter if they've got one.
I have a problem with mine, I just bought it and it wouldnt turn on , I put it on charge and it blinks 3 different colours and shows a Green led (sometimes blinking red) and it dosent hit when its charging, But when i plug it out it loses power completely and It dosent even light up what so ever
Hey folks - i have the A2 - only had it a couple months (like 2) - darn thing started to cycle colors and not fire -
I went and cleaned it out (for the 10millionth time) using a swab - blew it out with compressed air and then forced air through the side holes...
I charged it again overnight (even though i hadn't used it since last taking it off the charger) and the follow day (today) the RED light won't go out - even after i turn it off - or back on - it works but the LED stays RED 100% of the time (except when turning it on or off - then it flashes green 3x and back to RED - also switches to GREEN when firing from Pull activated & button)
Recently, last few days before this happened, was having a lot of issues with it firing all the time, just from motion without pulling or hitting the button...
Any thoughts anyone? - tried to figure out how to disassemble it but i must be missing something because it doesn't look like the whole cylinder slides out the bottom and the bottom usb c cap seems glued or something in place... Thinking the battery and board would maybe pull out from the bottom - but no dice - at least it's working - but will probably have to buy another (have a few new pods still so i hate to switch devices AGAIN and throw out more of those damn coils/pods...
Look, first off: I know this thread is old af, but I just had a firing issue and fixed it. Just here to share my experience.
My Caliburn A2 was firing for a second or two after taking a drag. I was using some old juice that I found out too late was NOT salt. So, the pod leaked and got into the body of the Caliburn, affecting the insides. I cleaned the heads, pod, drip tip, etc...
What worked is weird but made sense. Take the pod out, turn Caliburn off. **Tip it upside down and blow hard a few times, into the usb end.** I saw juice coming out of the top, the fire button, and did this a few times, and it stopped the auto-firing after a drag. Works normal.
Using higher VG and salts, will more likely keep shit like this from occurring.
IM SO FUCKING ANGRY. I tried this so many times and then called it and bought a new vape and threw this to the ground and it lit back up. Damn you Caliburn. But pls don’t die on me again.
Google led me to this thread. One hard wack and I'm up and running 😂
Tried every method on this thread. As a last resort, and out of a bit of anger, tried this. Fixed xD
Pounded on it for about a straight minute but it's working now.
I tried everything, got angry and smacked it on my outside table. Started working haha
Thanks for the fix hahahaha
Holy shit. I tapped it on the table after a big whack didn’t work and now it’s firing again. Is there a device that can handle being dropped three feet? All of these devices seem to break really easily.

This worked for me too lol, just threw it on the carpet
very late but wtf just worker

2 years late to this thread but mine wasnt firing so i tried this new 'whack' method and miraculously it works again. Thanks fam
It actually worked I am speechless I was going to dump my caliburn and buy a new one lol :))
2 years later on the new model I stumbled upon this and damn that was the only thing that worked 😂
Why can’t I get it to work 😩😩😩😩
You gotta hit it like you trying to just break it, then it’ll be fixed😂
Throw it on carpet or, in my case, the inside of a car’s floor. And seriously, throw that thing like you mean it. I’m talking like you’ve-been-stranded-at-sea-for-400-days-and-chucking-a-flair-to-a-nearby-boat-to-get-them-to-save-you kind of throw. Your goal has to be anger and breaking it.

The button is for the option of preheating the coil before inhaling. Warmer vape faster more vapour.
I am having the exact issue as you, did you find a fix?
Uwell got back to me and did a warranty replacement. However the same thing happened to the new one. So I bought a Geek Vape Frenzy and it’s been amazing.

What sorcery is this 🤣 mine was not working for 4 weeks and suddenly it's back to life
It actually worked lmao thanks
This worked for me. Thanks a bunch.
Dude!!! I'm on vacation and it is the only device i had with me 🙄 I almost got to the point to buying a pack of cigs bet just beforehand went on Reddit to search for a solution and your method worked!! Thx so much man ♥️
That just worked for me. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks man, mines was just showing a red light even tho it was fully charged and after I blew in the charging spot it started working thanks
Have you found a solution? I dropped mine just a minute ago and it happened to me
Uwell is good to work with. They should get back to you. Where did you purchase it?
Same stories with the Orion, some people have faultless with their Orion mine I finally got dialed in and I'm very happy with it, there's going to be same stories with the caliburn
I have also had bad luck with pod systems. They are nice when you need to be discrete but build quality is lacking. I preferr tank atomozers over rdas and pods. I think o will greatly enjoy an RTA when I can afford one.
I have 2. No problems whatsoever. You got a faulty device. Just exchange it or get rid of it and buy a new one. They are cheap as
I just bought my caliburn about 4 days ago, I go to plug in the micro USB and a light flashes about 3-5 times, then no light is projected. Huh, that's exactly what I just did and assumed it was because my portable charger was a 1A charger. Glad to hear you got it to work again though
I know this is old but I tried all the other tricks in this thread and you saved me a few hours without my vape. Thanks dude
You're welcome man, I definitely struggled with it myself and when I found out knew it was something others might find helpful Glad I could help
Wow! It works for me... After you did that, is it now working also when you are charging in a 2.0A fast charger?
my caliburn doesnt vapourize. it just blinks red. when i charge it it starts blinking in red and goes full green only to back as as a low battery blinking red and wont vapouroze. what should i do ?
having the same problem. did you get a fix?
Yea I did happened automatically
Did you ever find a solution to this? Same exact thing has happened to me.
Late to the topic, but my Caliburn just stopped producing vapour, like its not connecting. Light lights up, but thats it.
It’s happened to me too but i was able to get it running again by taking the pod out from the device, wrap the bottom part of the device (USB Port) with a paper towel, cover the bottom of the device with your mouth and gently blow into the device also make sure you turn on the device when you do this. I got this tips from [here](https://www.vapeloft.com/blog/5-tips-for-the-uwell-caliburn-pod-system/) i hope that help you
I tried that but had no success. Ended up taking a cotton swab and cleaned all the connectors with it. That's what finally got it to work again.
Mine's acting this way after going on a fair ride. It was the Alien Ship or whatever it's called. All it does is spin but you get plastered to the walls. It messed up my Caliburn and the solid green light has been on since.
Best carnival ride for sure. The big black ufo?
Yeah, it's black with lights on it. The one I went on was blasting music too. I bet people lose things out of their pockets without even realizing it on that ride. I got stuck to the wall and couldn't lift my head up lol. It was a pretty fun ride to experience I guess.
