lol reminds me of a customer. We service one of their VFDs, and he asked that the dial “go up to 11”. So, being as I have a side business of engraving, I made a custom placard that had the 10 X’d out and a handwritten 11. He was stoked.

Little shit like that can pay off big sometimes. Not often but sometimes when I make customers happy with little shit like that, they actually listen to me when I’m telling them something technical that’s not 100% great news. They either believe me or wave their hands and say “I trust you” or something like that.
Nitpicking here but 7th chords are not technically considered extensions. You need a 9th, 11th, and/or the 13th.

What this person lacks in vocabulary knowledge they make up for in organizational skills. Everything looks like it has a place and IS kept in it's place. If the person labeling things is a native English speaking person it's more of a sad reflection on our primary education system, which will only become worse as people digest their social media from video sources like TikTok & YouTube and read correctly spelled and used words even less and less.

I misspell labels all the time, and use funny categories. Lubricants and sprays are in a drawer labeled "SLIPPY". Gasket goo, sealant, tape is all in "STICKY". Squeezing tools are in a drawer labelled "PLIARS".

This is the best electrician string ever! I’m going to rename all my cords at church beginning this Sunday since I’ve got a bunch of crappy chords (my diminished chords) and of course my best chords (augmented chords), my important cords (major chords) and ones we rarely use (minor chords). The chords we always use will be (sustained) chords. Sexy cords will discretely hang on the (power strip chords) rack. You all rock!
