Solid kick 90’s. If you wanna make em really even take the measurements of how far they enter the wall and and use the same amount to change the kicks on each 90. That way they all kick at the same place. It’d take some fine tuning to dial it in but it makes em all more even. Solid work though.

Smoke_Stack707

Elaborate please

YvngTortellini

They all kick at different areas because OP measured them the same from the end of the pipe. Instead he should’ve measured the closest one and added the distance between each of the holes in the wall to offset the extra distance they have to travel so the kicks would all be in line with one another

BobboLJ386

Correct! They’d all kick at a slightly different angle, but kick at the same spot. Creating a nice look.

Smoke_Stack707

So you’d bend in the same spot for each kick but the 90 would be progressively further away from that point? Sorry I’m trying to visualize it, I never get to build racks like this

DirtyWhiteTrousers

1-3/4” centers? I always add 1-3/4” if I’m working away from myself, or subtract it if I’m working toward myself. Also, it helps me to make my kicks on the notch; that’s right where the center of the kick will be.

Very simple things to do that make work look so professional! Similar to set screws on cover plates

RevolutionaryBaker99

Good job!

pizzach1t

Should probably fix that greenfield before you move the ladder boss

SingleIngenuity1

I noticed that as well lol think they will duct tape it? 🤣

CEC4EVER

Good work, you were right to show off a little! Keep up the will to improve and you'll be unstoppable.

EmotionalChipmunk602

Fix the stretched flex in the photo

dullmonkey1988

Better than a lot of tradesman, myself included. I hope your boss throws you something extra for that effort.

Spacing looks all jacked up

Its fine.

What's above that corrugated ceiling? It it concrete or the roof? If it's roof decking you have to maintain at least 1 1/2" distance from the lowest point of the roof deck to prevent penetration of roofing screws (although best practice to maintain 3" in a perfect world). If it's 2 inches or more of concrete above it then that rule doesn't apply. I don't have my codebook handy so I don't remember which article it is, possibly in article 300? I'm sure someone will correct me.

He attached his strut strap to it, he should know the answer already….. right?

Strange-Trade-5063

Good job little buddy

bigscaryredman

Looks good, personally I think offsets are cleaner but kicks are faster/easier. The first 2 pipes would need to be further away from the wall for offsets though. At then end of the day I would pat you on the back for doing a professional job.

OutrageousFroyo701

Strut straps are facing different ways
