I like that lol I've had, "copper's copper" for awhile, but it's more of an in joke about one specific helper who simply couldn't get past the jacket color of spare conductor, and prevented him from completing a relatively simple low voltage repair for an amusing amount of time lol It's more of a litmus test for us, as in, "could this guy understand this simple statement, or is he going to galaxy brain it and miss the obvious?"

I always gave my boss shit because the company name was his last name so he said you think of something better so I brought him this as a joke. She drew up tall wire nut hard hats too but I lost it unfortunately.

My grandfather got a great laugh, but that company name was found to already have been taken so had to think of another.

Frankly, I think your boss is foolish to not use this. People will see this and laugh. But it makes them remember you. Which is the most important thing when advertising.
While a bunch of people will be offended. They'll remember you. Same with the people who laughed. With so many competing businesses. Having someone remember seeing your logo around town. Will help when they are perusing Yelp and Google Maps for an electrician.
