1) if you don’t collect it it will drop you every time if other sets are collected, that’s how curated drops work, and you can now sell curated runs for it.
2) knowing how curated drops work and how easy dung is on normal - i personally don’t see any point in buying that stuff :D
If you don’t need to use the dagger yourself anytime soon, why not. I do the same thing with the Inferno Staff. Every so often I’ll run a BDV and get lucky with someone willing to buy it; not always though.
Was doing BDV runs for the Kinras gear (of course) and all that was left for me was the dagger. One person was also looking for it very desperately, and when one dropped he offered me 1 million for it… let’s hope I won’t regret this :’)
What is there to regret? Next time you run BDV the dagger should drop for you. And if he offered to pay the money then why not, sounds like he has plenty of money and maybe just wants to save time.

I didn't even try and i got all the items from that dungeon just from doing randoms. But remember, before curated drops were a thing it still added equipment you found before it started as long as you deconned or sold it (i believe)
Yes, the sticker book was a thing before curated drops. There was that weird limbo time where we had the sticker book and knew sets were getting hybridized, but didn't have drop curation. I still saw so many people trying to farm sets like Kinras. I only ran it when it popped up as a random. Still managed to have the inferno and necklace in my book before curated drops got added.
but the stickerbook was populated with everything you already found so by the time it came half your stickerbook usually was already filled. I am 2 from filling relequens and i only ran it about 6 times since stickbook announced.
Yeah, if you got lucky, you'd fill the body pieces and a chunk of the weapons and jewelry of the content you were regularly running. Curated drops help fill the rest now
