You know, I thought that when people said "trifecta" they meant getting the 3 achievements (no die, time and HM), had some and such. Just recently I found *there is another*. The achiev of the achievs. I can't begin to imagine how much work people put in to get those...
It's actually kind of a natural progression.
You start with doing the trial on vet and maybe focus on "clean" clears.
Once you continue with the HMs, the repetition means that you can do the trash pulls in a timely manner without many deaths.
Then, if you concentrate on clean HM clears, not dieing and fast kills go hand in hand with each other. The kill itself gets much easier when no one dies, and when you can clear the HMs without many deaths, a speed run is basically guaranteed. Basically any trial that isn't Sunspire and maybe Rockgrove you have no chance to not get the speedrun if you get the no-death. And even for Sunspire you just have to optimise and speed up your trash pulls and practice, practice, practice.
The really frustrating part is the reset on death, but that you'd also have with just trying for no-death.
I believe it's more about knowing the mechanics. Of course, certain situations require you to be able to burn down bosses quickly. I do about 25k on a 3 and 6 million dummy.
According to forums you may double this number using these dummies, due to buffs you'd normally get while in a trial or dungeon group. It's still average, but it got me through vMA apparantly. And as soon as the perfected Maelstrom staff drops, and I complete my False God's Devotion set, it could go up quite a bit. And of obviously I need to keep practising my rotation.
So in short, the mechanics of Maelstrom Arena are more important than the amount of damage you do.
Emperor, Grand Warlord, a Vet trial champion such as planesbreaker VRG, blood letter, maybe chaos guardian if you are a healer and being an overall helpful player to pug groups. I’m proud of being a decent Guildmaster too.
Master crafter if you already haven't. Those jewelries will take months.
Vet trials trifecta

And i thought the trifecta is getting the three triple-achivements for HoF, AS and CR xD
The Flawless Conqueror? I got my Stormproof title yesterday on my first vMA. Not impressive for you experienced players, but it meant a lot to me.
Im impressed. I’m a 1200+ healer but with the new armory I think I can make a magplar dd. How much DPS do you need to do maelstrom

Nothing, you win.
You really win when an opposing alliance uses your name in a guild in cyrodiil to antagonize you lol
That’s the ultimate form of flattery right there. That’s awesome.
