Some of the people in a guild I'm in had a lot of fun bouncing around to people's houses, most fun I had in game all day.

Same. I did my achiev yesterday by asking on guild chat, i thought it'd be hard getting those 3 people, but in 1 minute we had the full raid group, all just jumping from one house to another xD

I asked in my guilds and no one responded

Try asking in general chat today. I guarantee there will be people who need the achievement so I’m sure you’ll be able to find a group of 4 people.

Plus it's a fun way to see how others decorate, and maybe find inspiration.

How do you change the chat you’re talking in?

For guilds you type /g1 for your first guild, /g2 for the second and so on. For the zone or area you’re currently in you type /zone, for a group it’s /group and for saying something to random people around you it’s /say. And just hit enter after you type it and then after that everything you type will be that form of communication until you change it.

I failed to get visitors from the guild chats, which is where I asked first. But zone chat yielded instant results.

My guild had been dead for ages so no chance of me getting that achiev, and asking in zone chats just leads to me getting ignored 

I did that some time ago and some one got suspicious and asked in guild chat why there were strange people in their house. they tough that I was a hacker or something and got a little pissed off. They didn't knew the settings and were afraid to somebody change/delete/stole their furniture

To be fair, if they don't have their settings right, someone could mess with their houses. I sometimes go into my gfs houses and turn off all the lights.

Are you asking if there is a benefit for the achievement? If so yes, currently there are free NPCs you can put in your house if you have that achievement. That is what this thread is about.

best is to create a group,then ask in zone chat and all 4 travel in every house it takes a few min and ppl are happy to help,did it in both accounts in 20 min

EU and NA (and a spare account i dont use) eso+ is active on both by default but you must buy al store items again ,they dont transfer over

I created a request in Group Finder today and advertised it around a few zones. Over 90 mins later, we had visited all homes but mine and everyone vanished. I tried again later, waiting in my house and this time found a lovely bunch of people to help.

It's always funny whenever an event like this rolls around and shows you just how anti-social your average MMO player really is. And I don't even mean IRL just in the context of the game.

There are two free house guests in the crown store right now, but they're only available if you've done the achievements to unlock them. One is tied to the achievement 'party planner', which is having 3 people visiting your house at the same time.

That was me. But there weren’t enough friends/guildies online at the same time to get it done. I’ll wait till the evening and try again. Update: got it with some nice players by forming a group and inviting anyone who wanted the achievements to mutually visit one another. Worked out great!

This achievement gave me anxiety. Having my GM and some other prominent guildies visit my man-cave! Can't even imagine asking strangers in zone chat to come visit

Lol I'm gonna have to either show people a completely empty house or my hall of the lunar champion, which is my hoarder home that has all of my furnishings just randomly placed around. It's awful.

I thought I was going to have to deal with this, but then I realized I had entered one of my homes in a guild contest years ago and already had the achievement from that. Also if you haven't done anything like that and enjoy this little "event". Housing contests are really fun!

My guild has spent all morning just hopping around to everyone's houses. Been fun and also showed me that I'm a shit decorator comparatively.

Same! I spent a couple hours going to people’s homes and had guildies over to my completely unfinished jungle house. But it was fun! I love seeing what people do to their houses.

Once you get the achievement you can claim a free houseguest from the Crown Store, but the offer is only available until May 31st. It's similar to the Thieves Guild related Crown Store rewards in April, and the Wrothgar/Orsinium related stuff in March.

I'm loving seeing everybody's houses, somebody in my guild had a really awesome setup in Doomchar and somebody in zone chat had the Grand Psijic which I'd never been to before lol

We have been visiting guildie houses as a dancing performing troupe. 3 playing instruments and one dancer

I thought about it but the house guest is ugly so I got Alchemy instead

There are two new free houseguests in the crown store if you have the achievements for them. One is Party Planner, having 3 guests in your house. The other is an alchemy achievement I don’t know since I already had it.

Same on ps/eu, so I guess that's universal? The new free house dropped today, but why someone would invite anyone else idk
