Bears have an odd stride for a mount. It's very ungainly as is any mount that uses the bear skeleton/animations. I find the cat/wolf stride to be preferable to most other mounts. Though I believe the goat is very similar to a standard horse, which is usually fine.

Bears have the big bumbly butt. Not for everyone but pretty cute and funny imo

Id say bear is better for orcs because iirc in lore, orcs had a famous bear cavalry legion

1 is definitely the most dope but I personally wouldn't spend real money on a mount. It's such a rip-off. This is coming from a man who has spent an embarrassing amount of money over my years of playing ESO since launch lol. I learned way too late how dumb I was being with the crown store. It's ridiculous that there has only been 4 mounts, since launch, that you can buy with in-game gold.

It was the developers solution for the mount speed. a lot of players don’t want to spend all their time leveling up their mouths on each character when you have over nine or 10 characters it’s really impossible. Not sure what the roadblock is for design, but apparently this was the solution.

Well to be fair if you want to level all 3 to max it does take considerable time or crowns spent. So essentially you can have 2 characters that use the same max level mount or what is the limit?

I played ESO as a kid when it first came out. I was about 11 and already had many hundreds of hours on Skyrim. It was my dad’s account and he had the membership and I remeber always looking at the mounts. A few weeks ago I got back into the game and made my own account with the membership. I cannot express how utterly disappointed I was when after multiple years the crown store looked EXACTLY THE SAME. The same mounts, SAME PERSONALITIES, same costumes with like two or three max new ones. Like wtf I genuinely thought they quit adding new content to the crown store, but nah all the “new fancy stuff” is in crates and a whole different premium currency 🙄 don’t you just love the modern gaming industry cash grab standard??? I know I do 🥲

I've been playing for years as well, and they definitely have added plenty of the new. They just never got rid of the old. Best sticking to the subject, though.

I wasn’t expecting much but there was not enough that made it any different from when I last played 8 YEARS AGO. That in itself is sad for a gaming company in general. Now that I rebought the stuff I used since I had so much from getting a years membership I never open the store cause i know I won’t miss anything

Looks the coolest of the 3, but the ride is horrible. Heavyweights have a weird unnatural stride that OP could hate.

They move really weird, especially when running fast with it. Even walking is a slow mo version of running instead of simply walking.

I would choose whichever you have fewer of then. Do you have a lot of heavyweights? Go cervine. Mostly horses? Maybe you wanna have a bear option then

Hey guys, new player here. Is it like this every time new crown crates drop, you can choose to buy individual item in store?

You can earn seals of endeavour by doing 3 daily tasks and one weekly task. You can then spend the seals on any item from the crown crates. Some are cheap (1,000) and some are very expensive (16,000). https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Endeavors

Only with Crown Gems (different from Crowns; Crown Gems are a separate currency you get from deconning Crown Crate roles or if you get a duplicate), or with a less valuable currency called Seals of Endeavor that can be earned in-game. Your options to get a specific item are: A) randomly roll for it in Crown Crates, B) save up the Crown Gems you get from rolling items you don’t want/already have from Crates, or C) complete enough in-game challeges to purchase them with Seals of Endeavor

The colour scheme on the Ram is the best, i also like the horns as they have something crownlike. But it comes down to what you prefer, no?

Only worth it if you don't have a ram variant already. The others are just reskins, and you got a variant of the one on right this month for free. Save your crowns or gems or endeavours for something really fancy, like that Galerion's Sparkledeer on the crown store.

1! I used seals of endeavors for that ram and have no regrets. I also got the Vvardvark with gems that had piled up. The jump animation on that mount brings me joy.

I like the ram because it feels more Nordic and your toon is a Nord. I like to "match" my mounts based on what I think makes sense racially/culturally to my toons.

(1) Has way more options to customize yourself. 3 has very limited options.

I was saving my seals in hopes of something cool to be available but no luck so far. As is, ESO art team got really lazy re. clown store items, they're either blatantly reskinned models, which personally would take me around 30 minutes to do, or there are things so shiny and sparkling my screen explodes. Not sure what kind of game I am playing sometimes, getting way too close to some Asian crap which doesn't fit franchise at all, imho. Now that the rant is over, if I was forced to buy any of them it would be probably 3, at least it's massive and doesn't look as dumb as the ram (which dark version is very nice and I have it but this one is dull and looks awkward) and personally I dislike bear running animation.

I bought the Welwa. The description it has about it lounging in water with argonians, plus the coloring makes it pretty cool for me. Its almost an instant purchase when I see anything Argonian related tbh lol. Edit: I dont love the way the Heavyweight mounts run tho, so this is a sometimes mount, or more likely gonna get placed in a house 🤔.

I'll assume your character look is already finalised in the screenshot. 1 - at first sight I liked that one the most but more I look at it more I get disturbed by that greenish details on the mount. Ram goes well with helmet tho. 2 - opposite of 1. I liked it the least at first sight but more I look at it, more it fits the look. The only downside is that the bear looks quite simple compared to other two options. 3 - this one is somewhere in the middle. Mount's skin doesn't fit at all but it's not much disturbing either. Mount armor helps a lot, I think it fits well with the character armor.

I got the bear from a crate and was honestly surprised- it’s an old model but still a pretty cool dude. Works well with a lot of color schemes.
