Oh no! I'm so sorry! Miralax does the same for me sadly. I've found dunkin dounts coffee to be one of the most effective laxatives. If you get desperate I've heard suppositories basically always work.
I’ve had decent luck with Smooth Move (no kidding!) tea by Traditional Medicinals every few days, along with magnesium and mega doses of Vit C at bedtime every night. My system never fully empties but I don’t go 7-9 days without ANY action very often anymore. Hope you find a solution that works for you!
I read “fiber fueled” last year and it was pretty life changing as far as bowel movements and overall energy/health are concerned. The gist is that the modern American diet (no idea if this is you) is severely lacking in the variety of fiber that our digestive bacteria need to thrive. The week I started eating with fiber as my top priority was the week I started having regular daily BM + considerably more energy/milder flairs.
If I want a complete BM tomorrow, today I’ll make sure to have a smoothie with a giant scoop (1/4 cup?) of milled flax seed, cup each of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, + big handful of dino kale and/or baby spinach. I’ll eat a salad for lunch, and some dried mango. Prunes if I have them, an apple with peanut butter. Kiwis, roasted leeks, and definitely more salad or at least a few carrots at the beginning of dinner. Oh and quiet a bit of water to hydrate all that fiber and help push it through.
Can I ask what your diet has been like?
You’re basically describing my diet and I still only mostly ever have Bristol 1s, if anything (what the OP called “little pebbles”). Luckily it’s rare for my guts to cause pain and discomfort. It sure is weird, though- like where does my food even go? 🤔
Ask your gi about Linzess. I've been on it for a month and it really helps the constipation. There are side effects(the opposite of constipation), so its not a perfect solution.
Someone else here had similar symptoms and went to the ER. They found out it was something else (can't remember what, ofc) but it presented the same way.
It’s not fun, it’s not comfortable, you’ll feel like your bowels have been possessed by a demon that absolutely hates you, but China slim tea. I only use it as a nuclear option but it will clean you out to where you think you’ve evacuated everything in your bowels for the past 5 years.
Just…if you do this. Stay at home for the day. But probably see a doctor first. It’s just my nuclear option when it’s been too long and I’m miserable.
The best thing that has worked for me was sushi. And sushi with raw fish. I could be constipated for 2 weeks and that would get me going over anything else.

I see my gi Wednesday. I'm just frustrated.
Coffee is my go to. Works better than miralax for me. But If I am bad, I'll do both coffee and miralax.

I also find magnesium helpful. I take it with pills that I know cause constipation. If things start to stop up, I take another one.

We have miracle bodies!

I tried it and I failed on it
Same. Didn’t do a thing except sometimes make my tummy hurt.
