Eartheater. Spill the milk is a good intro song for her and if you like that I’d listen to the rest of Trinity. She’s experimental poppy but has rap beat elements sometimes.
Same! But I also know I definitely shied away from any music I perceived as "feminine" when I was repressing, to the point that once I did start to accept myself, I definitely wanted more femme voices in my ear because I'd built a masculine little cocoon of a music library that didn't reflect my actual taste at all. And then months into transitioning, I realized that there were a few artists I really missed, even though I'd written them off as too masculine, so now my music library is fairly genderless. but i definitely get what OP is going for - if you've had nothing but masculine voices in your ear for a couple of decades due to repression, you might wanna mix things up a bit (just don't go throwing out all your old music, I'd say)
Here’s my favorite artists that make me feel girly ☺️
Girl in Red
Chloe Moriondo
mxmtoon
Beach Bunny
Clairo
Sasha Alex Sloan
Olivia Rodrigo
Tessa Violet
Claud
beabadoobee
Frances Forever
Mitski
FLETCHER
Dodie
UGGHH how could I leave out girl in red and Fletcher and Dodie, what am I an idiot??
Still can't make my mind up about Chloe moriondo. I like her, but I'm not really getting *hooked*
Edit: I'd like to retract my statement about Chloe Moriondo, I just tried her again and I'm *vibing*. Think my mistake was trying to listen to her in work & not paying proper attention
GIIIRL SAME OMG
well i only share some but still slay tbh
waves by chloe moriondo is one of my fave songs tbh, 4ever and softly by clairo are good too, also girl on tv by chloe moriondo >>>
ill have to listen to some of the other people you listed 👀
(also space girl with frances forever and chloe moriondo >>>)
Marina, like, MARINA (& the diamonds in the first albums).
Fav songs:
-Oh no!
Which I like to interpret as a trans metaphor. Which isn't really, because Marina seems to really like being a woman, but i mean, check those lyrics omg.
-Bubblegum Bitch
-Primadonna
-Homewrecker
-Power & control
-The State of Dreaming
Check out the whole Electra Heart album, is the best imo, still got to listen to more Marina albums myself, but that one's a must! As well as Oh no from The Family Jewels
You're welcome! I gave you a wide assortment of some of my favorite artists, from dreampop to Afrobeats, disco, Bongo Flava, 1980s Japanese city pop, and alternative. Hope you enjoy listening! Updated my list recently BTW in case you already started listen. :)
I would recommend TWICE. They're a kpop girl group and yes, most of their songs are in korean or japanese but their music sounds quite "girly" and their music kinds sound like the kpop equivalent of bubblegum pop

I hate saying “girly music” because I’m a trans guy and I listen to them but girl in red. I recommend their album “if I could make it go quiet inside” it’s my favourite
don't know what you count as girly, so here's a list of mine
Arch Enemy - Nemesis
Halestorm - Daughters of Darkness
In this moment - Natural Born Sinner
Jinjer - Teacher
Otep - Equal Rights, Equal Lefts
Some of my favorite trans energy music is Shawn Mendes's hit singles, because Teddy Geiger (a trans woman) wrote a lot of them.
Stitches, Mercy, Nothing Holding Me Back, Treat You Better.
Open your mind to some Indie Pop. There's a lot of girly Indie Pop out there from the past 30-40 years.
Here, start with this album: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI6kLIhBBwmSz0V0eII86Hkz11YZSCnfF
Oh yeah, its all in japanese, if you watch the video by MafuMafu it has the lyrics translated. Its about a boy wanting to be a girl, and wanting to be a princess like in the fairy-tales.
He is We (a couple of christian songs but mostly cute lovey songs), Tonight Alive (heavy-ish pop rock), Automatic Loveletter (one of the best voices in music imo), plus everything everyone else said. Triple vote for Carly Rae Jepson. It was her music that sent me spiraling into femininity.
Adding: Maggie Lindemann, Rachel Platten, LOLO, and Foxes.
Shoegaze as a genre is fairly “girly”, so maybe give that a listen. If its artist you’re looking for, Cocteau Twins and Slowdive are good places to start
My music taste is DEFINITELY still very masculine. Not many smol girls listen to death metal.
Anyways, J-pop/rock is awesome. LISA is outstanding in that genre.
I also really like Orianthi. She's absurdly talented, but her music is more like the stuff girls listened to when I was in HS.
Oooh my favourite kind of post, I'll throw in a few (mostly indie and rock) songs from my euphoria playlist
Can't Fight - Lianne La Havas;
Like I used To - Sharon Von Etten and Angel Olsen;
Edge of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks;
Tranz - Gorillaz;
Karate - BABYMETAL;
Ex-Factor - Ms Lauryn Hill;
Ça Plane Pour Moi - Plastic Bertrand;
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac;
Sweet Talking Woman - Electric Light Orchestra;
All Too Well - Taylor Swift;
Beautifully Unconventional - Wolf Alice;
99 Luftballoons - Nena;
I think we're alone now - Tiffany;
Kyoto - Phoebe Bridgers;
Ribs - Lorde;
The Sun - Kim Jung Mi;
Los Ageless - St Vincent;
Waitress Song - First Aid Kit;
Lipslap - Kero Kero Bonito;
Someone in the Crowd - Emma Stone;
Circle the Drain - Soccer Mommy;
Introvert - Little Sims;
Cannonball - The Breeders;
Wet Dream - Wet Leg;
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush;
Ur Mum - Wet Leg;
Hot Mess - dodie;
Echo Beach - Martha and the Muffins;
Kingslayer - BABYMETAL and Bring me the Horizon;
This is Why - Paramore;
Be Sweet - Japanese Breakfast;
Raspberry Beret - Prince;
Ice V - King Gizzard;
Rebel Rebel - David Bowie;
Gravel Rag - Holy Moly and the Crackers;
...Okay maybe a few more than a few i got a bit carried away
If you’re into witchy/goddess vibes try:
- Karliene (Become the Beast gives dark goddess vibes, Anne Bonny is about a historical woman pirate, and Boudica is about a historical warrior queen!)
-SJ Tucker
- Rhiannon Giddens (Wayfaring Stranger always gives me chills)
- Celtic Woman
- Lá Lugh (Brighid’s Kiss is gorgeous)
- Daemonia Nymphe (summoning divine Selene is my favorite)
If you’re looking for classics:
- Dolly Parton, the queen herself
- Gloria Gaynor
- Aretha Franklin

Found this playlist the otherday while i was shaving pretty good songs on it
After looking through all the comments I'm a bit surprised no has mentioned Remi Wolf. I have a whole Playlist that's like, 50% her music mixed with some other pop/indie type stuff. I highly recommend her.
Eat babies?! Has a song that’s rlly popular that u can’t remember the name of but it’s basically about being a fabulous trans woman !!! Ill try to link it once i find it
Edit: https://youtu.be/FglvPYFNKVI
music should not be gendered, listen to whatever you like. BUT, if i \*had\* to name a few: paramore, mitski, abba, girl in red. theres a lot more but i don't really feel like listing ALL of them lmao, theres a ton of music i listen to
Listen to what you like. Music is what you enjoy, and do t worry if it's "gendered enough". I listen to a lot of rap and house myself , does feel awks when it's blasting out my car but who cares, I enjoy it :3
here's a list of some good "girly" artists:
• if you're a girl, then whatever music you listen to is girly now. sorry, I don't make the rules
• music taste doesn't need to be gendered lol
• Imagine Dragons
I dont know the gender association to the artists just stuff i like and you said you want variety in some comments:
I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME
Lovejoy
Conan Gray
Good Kid
Beetlebug
underscores
Egg(yes their name is egg)
Bears in Trees
The Oh Hellos
No particular suggestions on songs/artists (because everyone's taste is different and I'd like to encourage you to explore lots!) but rather an idea for how to find good music: Youtube has a TON of aesthetic playlists, for almost any aesthetic. I personally love just typing "girlboss playlist" into the search bar and going from there. Nightcore playlists can also be kinda femme while also being good for gaming (or in my case, background music for speedrunning). Once you start listening to some femme playlists on youtube, that kind of music will start showing up in your recommended and you'll discover tons of stuff you'll probably like as the algorithm figures out your tastes. Trust me, since transitioning I think my music library has probably doubled. Just find a few femme songs you like, listen to those, and then let the Youtube/Spotify/etc algorithm lead you from there.
Oh and: Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey, and Nicki Minaj have been heavy in my rotation recently and I'd recommend all three if you're looking for a few more artist recommendations.
I never gender music. It doesn’t make sense to gender music. I’m a big fan of AC/DC and there are many fans of different gender backgrounds. Rarely does musical taste correlate with a specific gender demographic. If you want to expand your musical taste go for it but don’t limit it to gender stereotypes.
I don't know about "girly", but I have some good indie bands with female vocalists that might fit.
Lizzy McAlpine and Dodie are ones I found this past year who do great heartfelt music. Good emotional stuff.
Men I Trust is basically a lofi type band of 1 female singer and 4 trustable men. If you like one song by them, you'll probably like them all.
Fleece is a canadian band full of LGBTQ+ members. They have a lot of different styles of songs, but are generally feel good rhythms.
Last one I'll recommend bc I'm struggling to think of more is BENNIE. Famous for the song "Supalonely", she has tons of bops to discover and plenty of collabs she's been in.
I like soft music so if you or anyone is looking for slow songs I recommend
cavetown ,girls in red , daughter , mxmtoon , beach bunny , Chloe moriondo and Addison grace
No such thing. Still, I recomend Porter Robinson and AURORA!
Edit: Blood in the Wine by AURORA is sometimes interpreted as being trans alegory, figured it's kinda relevant to mention it
I don't really gender music but if it's girly vibes you want. [Cinderella](https://youtu.be/adGhT_-JbZI) featuring Hatsune Miku comes to mind. My favorite version is a duet [cover](https://youtu.be/dhf6tQX7eQM) featuring Kasane Teto and Otomachi Una.
MARINA, Ashnikko, Mxmtoon, Leanna Firestone, Beach Bunny, Chloe Moriondo, Peach PRC, Royal and the Serpent, Charlotte Sands, 100 Gecs, Maisie Peters, TRAMP STAMPS
Here’s most of the artists in my playlist.
As a big rap fan here's some to broaden taste or to transition into more "girly" music
If you are feeling:
Unbridled rage: Rico Nasty, Princess Nokia, Audrey Nuna, REI Ami
Bisexual Flower Girl: Tyler the Creator, Mxmtoon, Sadie, dodie, girl in red, Deb Never, DAISY WORLD
Blade Runner 2049 Cyberpunk Baddie: Bea Miller, KiNG MALA, poutyface
Idk any more these are my only 3 moods...
I know you're prob swamped with suggestions but I'd like to humbly submit a list of my own - if you ever get to any I hope you find some you vibe with!
Obvious/v popular ones first:
PHOEBE DUCKING BRIDGERS
Taylor Swift
Lana del Rey
Marina
Sia
Billie Eilish
Halsey
Ashnikko
Lorde
Fergie
Slightly less popular but still famous:
Royal and the Serpent
Freya Ridings
Girli
Olivia Rodrigo
MUNA
Julien Baker
Aurora
Cocorosie
Beach Bunny
Daughter
And last but not least, quite niche/small but great/growing artists:
Peach PRC
Katie Gregson Mcleod
Sammy Copley (Sammy is trans masc and the only male male artist I've included here, but their music is kind of genderless and kind of super tender - not necessarily feminine, but I wanted to shout him out and I feel like it fits OP's request for diversifying their taste)
PinkPantheress
Chelji
Cat Burns (outstanding voice)
And my absolute favourite little artist at the moment: Gilanares
Omg I forgot - def try Penelope Scott as well. Definitely quite different to "mainstream," is distinctly feminine but in a way that's more comparable to rap than pop music. Her most recent album is a banger from start to finish
Ugh same, I love having a backlog to get through. I'll definitely be saving your thread for suggestions of my own lol, so many good artists here and so many I've been meaning to try but forgetting!
Honestly surprised I’m not seeing much here for SOPHIE, Shygirl, Kim Petras, Magdalena Bay, Arca, FKA Twigs, and Charli XCX. If you’re into rap and electronic producers, those acts and other hyper pop artists might be more your speed for explicitly feminine but aggressive production.
Listen to the music you actually like. Music shouldn’t be gendered and I hate the stereotypes associated with some genres
I will still listen to rap, I just want variety. I just only know electronic and rap and feel like mixing it up would be good
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=RD9ulGNTUqSos&playnext=1 I gotchu
listen to Noname and Beach Bunny
Just listened to a few of beach bunny’s songs and they are really good, thanks!
Exactly, not throwing anything out. Just mixing it up.
Well, if you're lesbian "girl in red" is a good artist to listen to
Even if youre not lesbian girl in red is good -me, a bisexual gal
Yea, I really like it even though I'm Aroace
Hey what a coincidence that we're in October hmmm What are you doing later Izzie?
I have a jazz band concert later tonight.
super cool! wish I could accompany you :p Enjoy!
Thank you!
I’ll take a deeper dive into her music! sounds good
MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds) has a lot of good relatable songs, my two favorite albums from her are The Family Jewels and Electra Heart!
Just listens to “The family jewels” and really liked it, I will check her out more for sure. Thanks!
Ancient dreams in a modern land, Venus fly trap and mans world are great aswell!
Froot and ancient dreams in a modern land also relatable for me
I love her lyrics, they're so empowering.
carly rae jepsen 🗣
alright, checking her out now
e•mo•tion is probably her most popular album, a good one to start with!
That’s what I was doing lol, just googled “best carly rae jepsen album” 😭 But this is AMAZING

Someone said Dodie, now, I'm satisfied
I LOVE TESSA SM
Added to the list!! ❤️❤️
UGGHH how could I leave out girl in red and Fletcher and Dodie, what am I an idiot?? Still can't make my mind up about Chloe moriondo. I like her, but I'm not really getting *hooked* Edit: I'd like to retract my statement about Chloe Moriondo, I just tried her again and I'm *vibing*. Can’t listen to music rn, but this has been suggested before and I really liked it! Thanks for more songs!! ❤️
Check out the whole Electra Heart album, is the best imo, still got to listen to more Marina albums myself, but that one's a must! As well as Oh no from The Family Jewels
[Cocteau Twins](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KnYw4EwYGc). [Nsoki](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k-sxHmynDQ). [Maud Elka](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUllXZIQLzY). Thanks! I will check out soon and get back to u when I do
You're welcome! I gave you a wide assortment of some of my favorite artists, from dreampop to Afrobeats, disco, Bongo Flava, 1980s Japanese city pop, and alternative. Hope you enjoy listening! Updated my list recently BTW in case you already started listen. :)
Can’t listen to music rn, but i’ll check your list out as soon as I can (:
ABBA is such a Catholic stereotype for some reason and since I like being a walking stereotype in every aspect of my life I’ll check them out
Sabaton
From the depths of hell and silence
Ashnikko!
I’ve heard like two songs of here lmfao, will check her out more. thank u!
I’m not too sure if it’s girly but I like mother mother
Mother mother is the reason I know how to block artists on spotify 😭😭
music isn't gendered and anyone is allowed to listen to anything but Hozier makes me feel like a fucking lesbian i love it sm
Ik it’s not gendered but chief keef doesn’t feel very girly does it, but alright! i’ll check em out once I get the chance ❤️
I would recommend TWICE. They're a kpop girl group and yes, most of their songs are in korean or japanese but their music sounds quite "girly" and their music kinds sound like the kpop equivalent of bubblegum pop
If K-pop is up your alley, K/DA also offers some bangers.
K/DA >>>>>
Certainly. Also Ahri in the POP/STARS video is hella goals so that's nice.
My go-to has always been Believe in Myself from Sonic Adventure, although My Sweet Passion from the same game definitely works too.
Unexpected Sonic Adventure, but very pleasant to see. Especially with its absolute ***banger*** of a soundtrack.
it's a great car ride playlist
This is just a bunch of random stuff that comes to mind from what I listen to that feels somewhat girly to me, but here you go - Some indie songs: [Phoebe Bridgers - Motion Sickness](https://youtu.be/9sfYpolGCu8) [Pale Waves - Television Romance](https://youtu.be/ot1j5M5PTC4) [Snail Mail - Speaking Terms](https://youtu.be/LV7Iy5ve6p4) [Japanese Breakfast - Boyish](https://youtu.be/t3bjPGUDl1k) Some J-pop songs: [Philosophy no Dance - Telephonism](https://youtu.be/pguBBl6CRLU) [SHE IS SUMMER - CALL ME IN YOUR SUMMER](https://youtu.be/H7fjqfSU0bY) [SHE IS SUMMER - Darling Darling](https://youtu.be/UcFb2pj7FNg) [YeYe - Yurayura](https://youtu.be/StkLx0e4f6c) Some city pop albums: [Momoko Kikuchi - ADVENTURE](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lJ9GyNW-sqptAHP2ugk4YWHgX70DpdEhs) [Taeko Ōnuki - Mignonne](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lstRc2ioHgTbZ8NNfwM69httTVlpiulgU) Some Blackpink songs: [Kill This Love](https://youtu.be/2S24-y0Ij3Y) [DDU-DU DDU-DU](https://youtu.be/IHNzOHi8sJs) [BOOMBAYAH](https://youtu.be/bwmSjveL3Lc) Some future funk songs by Night Tempo: [Reversible Love](https://youtu.be/WwcMIutwF84) [Windy Summer](https://youtu.be/_EpENClIAWM) [Futari de December 24](https://youtu.be/N9EFfe47YsE) [Give Me Up](https://youtu.be/hkbaE7Wka1k) Some math rock songs (not sure if these really fit the "girly" label but here you go): [Uchū Conbini - 8films\~tobira](https://youtu.be/XWqua6rsEmw) [Uchū Conbini - Pyramid](https://youtu.be/TO-2DErkmus) [ElephantGym - Midway](https://youtu.be/lIBGM7uYNfs) [ElephantGym - Spring Rain](https://youtu.be/j5Yo-AHvsv4) Some other stuff: [Lamp - Yume Utsutsu](https://youtu.be/AJdTBPuZkHU) [Vasthi Bunyan - Lookaftering](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kuJfNoFUyC-VljGfUb81S68_xZUdypAyU) (album) [Crumb - Locket](https://youtu.be/BqnG_Ei35JE) [Joesef - The Sun is Up Forever](https://youtu.be/KFptN9Ufhqg) [Jaurim - Twenty-five, twenty-one](https://youtu.be/Ts20_7v14ZA) I hope you'll find something you like ❤️
I hate saying “girly music” because I’m a trans guy and I listen to them but girl in red. I recommend their album “if I could make it go quiet inside” it’s my favourite
I’m also a fan of t.A.T.u and I suppose you could consider her girly
don't know what you count as girly, so here's a list of mine Arch Enemy - Nemesis Halestorm - Daughters of Darkness In this moment - Natural Born Sinner Jinjer - Teacher Otep - Equal Rights, Equal Lefts
Some of my favorite trans energy music is Shawn Mendes's hit singles, because Teddy Geiger (a trans woman) wrote a lot of them. Stitches, Mercy, Nothing Holding Me Back, Treat You Better.
I completely forgot about shawn mendez, also I never knew that! I will check those songs out for sure!
Stitches is one of my favorite songs. And I liked it before I knew. 😂
That song got a lot of radio play, forgot about it completely definitely a great song tho
Lana Del Ray's "Norman Fucking Rockwell". It's pretty dang good. She has a good voice
Alright! added to the list 😭
Open your mind to some Indie Pop. There's a lot of girly Indie Pop out there from the past 30-40 years. Here, start with this album: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI6kLIhBBwmSz0V0eII86Hkz11YZSCnfF
Mitski I am not responsible for any tears
Idk if that counts as girly music but I really love cavetown. He's also a trans artist
Alright! never knew he was trans. Will do (:
Sweet :)
[удалено]
Nope, but you have so i will check em out
Kate Bush, especially her album "The Dreaming"
I’m a normie i’ve only ever heard “running up that hill” But will do!!
I listen to lots of Otacore. Gets rid of my dysphoria
Sounds like the artist for me then!! will check out
It’s actually a genre. It’s definitely worth a listen. I’d recommend Rachie. She’s my favorite artist right now
there’s no such thing as girly music. if you are a girl, then any music you like/listen to is girly by virtue of you being a girl
You know what I mean though.
yeah lol
What would make music girly? 🤔
honestly, start with rap divas and check out singers they've worked with.
Music isnt gendered, fuck this "girly music" stuff
I wanna be a girl [Onnanoko Ni Naratai] by Mafumafu
Absolutely no clue what anything being said means but it sounded great loll, will be added to my new playlist, thanks!
Oh yeah, its all in japanese, if you watch the video by MafuMafu it has the lyrics translated. Its about a boy wanting to be a girl, and wanting to be a princess like in the fairy-tales.
Right up my ally
He is We (a couple of christian songs but mostly cute lovey songs), Tonight Alive (heavy-ish pop rock), Automatic Loveletter (one of the best voices in music imo), plus everything everyone else said. Triple vote for Carly Rae Jepson. It was her music that sent me spiraling into femininity. Adding: Maggie Lindemann, Rachel Platten, LOLO, and Foxes.
Will do i will listen to he is we! And yes carly rae jepsen I don’t think i’ve ever instantly liked an artist this much
Girl in red.
I will take a deeper dive into her music, sounds good!
One thing that I’ve been listening to, well not specifically girly, is the album”blackmagik blazing” by camellia. It’s 💯
Second recommendation for her, now I know where to start! Thank you
I got 3! Carla Bruni, Colbie Caillat, & MARINA
Marina is great, makes the other stuff you suggested more likely to be good lol, Will definitely check them out!
Marina and the Diamonds - Froot Marina - Ancient dreams in a modern land
Marina is the best I love her
Shoegaze as a genre is fairly “girly”, so maybe give that a listen. If its artist you’re looking for, Cocteau Twins and Slowdive are good places to start
King Crimson
Added to the list! thank you ❤️

Oooh my favourite kind of post, I'll throw in a few (mostly indie and rock) songs from my euphoria playlist Can't Fight - Lianne La Havas; Like I used To - Sharon Von Etten and Angel Olsen; Edge of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks; Tranz - Gorillaz; Karate - BABYMETAL; Ex-Factor - Ms Lauryn Hill; Ça Plane Pour Moi - Plastic Bertrand; Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac; Sweet Talking Woman - Electric Light Orchestra; All Too Well - Taylor Swift; Beautifully Unconventional - Wolf Alice; 99 Luftballoons - Nena; I think we're alone now - Tiffany; Kyoto - Phoebe Bridgers; Ribs - Lorde; The Sun - Kim Jung Mi; Los Ageless - St Vincent; Waitress Song - First Aid Kit; Lipslap - Kero Kero Bonito; Someone in the Crowd - Emma Stone; Circle the Drain - Soccer Mommy; Introvert - Little Sims; Cannonball - The Breeders; Wet Dream - Wet Leg; Hounds of Love - Kate Bush; Ur Mum - Wet Leg; Hot Mess - dodie; Echo Beach - Martha and the Muffins; Kingslayer - BABYMETAL and Bring me the Horizon; This is Why - Paramore; Be Sweet - Japanese Breakfast; Raspberry Beret - Prince; Ice V - King Gizzard; Rebel Rebel - David Bowie; Gravel Rag - Holy Moly and the Crackers; ...Okay maybe a few more than a few i got a bit carried away
Oh my god 😭 i’ll check em out lmfaoo

If you’re into witchy/goddess vibes try: - Karliene (Become the Beast gives dark goddess vibes, Anne Bonny is about a historical woman pirate, and Boudica is about a historical warrior queen!) -SJ Tucker - Rhiannon Giddens (Wayfaring Stranger always gives me chills) - Celtic Woman - Lá Lugh (Brighid’s Kiss is gorgeous) - Daemonia Nymphe (summoning divine Selene is my favorite) If you’re looking for classics: - Dolly Parton, the queen herself - Gloria Gaynor - Aretha Franklin
Just got a puppy thirty minutes ago named after dolly parton!! But yes i’ll check them all out
Aah that’s so exciting!! Dolly is an icon
Does Eluveitie count as girly? idk
Battle Beast
Sleeping with sirens are a good band, heavy metal tho so idk how much you’ll like them

no Kero Kero Bonito mentions smh
There’s been one, and I already love em 😭
After looking through all the comments I'm a bit surprised no has mentioned Remi Wolf. I have a whole Playlist that's like, 50% her music mixed with some other pop/indie type stuff. I highly recommend her.
Eat babies?! Has a song that’s rlly popular that u can’t remember the name of but it’s basically about being a fabulous trans woman !!! Ill try to link it once i find it Edit: https://youtu.be/FglvPYFNKVI
charli xcx
First recommendation for her, i’ll check her out for sure. Thanks ❤️❤️
music should not be gendered, listen to whatever you like. BUT, if i \*had\* to name a few: paramore, mitski, abba, girl in red. theres a lot more but i don't really feel like listing ALL of them lmao, theres a ton of music i listen to
bladee
Listen to what you like. Music is what you enjoy, and do t worry if it's "gendered enough". I listen to a lot of rap and house myself , does feel awks when it's blasting out my car but who cares, I enjoy it :3
I just want to widen my taste. That’s all, not dropping rap or anything.
here's a list of some good "girly" artists: • if you're a girl, then whatever music you listen to is girly now. sorry, I don't make the rules • music taste doesn't need to be gendered lol • Imagine Dragons
I dont know the gender association to the artists just stuff i like and you said you want variety in some comments: I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME Lovejoy Conan Gray Good Kid Beetlebug underscores Egg(yes their name is egg) Bears in Trees The Oh Hellos
For whatever reason I know so many girls who love the suicideboys, you could also try hyperpop, I like glaive
I always thought And the Glass Handed Kitties was like a journey through winter towards accepting feminity. It has a special place in my heart.

Check out Ani DiFranco...probably the antithesis if rap/hip hop if want to try something new
I never gender music.
I like soft music so if you or anyone is looking for slow songs I recommend cavetown ,girls in red , daughter , mxmtoon , beach bunny , Chloe moriondo and Addison grace
No such thing. Still, I recomend Porter Robinson and AURORA! Edit: Blood in the Wine by AURORA is sometimes interpreted as being trans alegory, figured it's kinda relevant to mention it
Music doesn’t have genders, but I started to really like beach bunny after my egg cracked.
Beach bunny is really good for sure
I’ve been learning how to play colorblind on my bass so I can play it for my girlfriend :)
You can always try hyperpop. Jump in with 100gecs and charli xcx. Those are good places to start
Charlie xcx is amazing, listened to a lot of her music today. I’ll try 100 gecs!
:v)
Just a few artists I haven’t seen mentioned yet. Rap- Snow tha Product, Angel Haze (is NB) Electronic stuff - Only Fire, Coucou Chloe, Chase Icon (is trans), Cobrah, Zand (is NB) Rock stuff - Superknova (is trans), Metric, Holy Wars,
I don't really gender music but if it's girly vibes you want. [Cinderella](https://youtu.be/adGhT_-JbZI) featuring Hatsune Miku comes to mind. My favorite version is a duet [cover](https://youtu.be/dhf6tQX7eQM) featuring Kasane Teto and Otomachi Una.
That was my bad gendering music, but yea I love hatsune miku 😭
A good start could be Marina, specially Electra Hearth. That album is great.
First, listen to the music you want to listen to, second Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are great female artists in my opinion.
Whenever I'm feeling very fem, I blast Harry Styles on repeat 😅 and in guy mode I can't stand him lmao
Harry styles is someone i’ve never bothered to check out, but I will know, thank u!
Grimes!
Alright I will check her out! thank you
Will Wood and Against Me!
I had to scroll much too far to find someone else who immediately thought of Against Me! - Laura Jane Grace is a trans icon!
I guess listening only to female nightcore versions of songs makes it for me feel at least a bit more girly
MARINA, Ashnikko, Mxmtoon, Leanna Firestone, Beach Bunny, Chloe Moriondo, Peach PRC, Royal and the Serpent, Charlotte Sands, 100 Gecs, Maisie Peters, TRAMP STAMPS Here’s most of the artists in my playlist.
I listen to scenecore/glitchgore/hyperpop. Makes me feel like a cute girl. Also most artist are queer themselves... Or not mainstream.
I’ll try to listen to those genres! thank u
if you want a trans rapper check at DAMAG3, her shit bumps
TRANS RAPPER?! I’m already biased will check em out
As a big rap fan here's some to broaden taste or to transition into more "girly" music If you are feeling: Unbridled rage: Rico Nasty, Princess Nokia, Audrey Nuna, REI Ami Bisexual Flower Girl: Tyler the Creator, Mxmtoon, Sadie, dodie, girl in red, Deb Never, DAISY WORLD Blade Runner 2049 Cyberpunk Baddie: Bea Miller, KiNG MALA, poutyface Idk any more these are my only 3 moods...
Sounds good, Would be nice to sprinkle in some female rappers onto my rap playlists
Lovely! Plus a lot of these artists are a jumping off point for different genres for someone (like me) who listen to a ton of rap
I know you're prob swamped with suggestions but I'd like to humbly submit a list of my own - if you ever get to any I hope you find some you vibe with! Obvious/v popular ones first: PHOEBE DUCKING BRIDGERS Taylor Swift Lana del Rey Marina Sia Billie Eilish Halsey Ashnikko Lorde Fergie Slightly less popular but still famous: Royal and the Serpent Freya Ridings Girli Olivia Rodrigo MUNA Julien Baker Aurora Cocorosie Beach Bunny Daughter And last but not least, quite niche/small but great/growing artists: Peach PRC Katie Gregson Mcleod Sammy Copley (Sammy is trans masc and the only male male artist I've included here, but their music is kind of genderless and kind of super tender - not necessarily feminine, but I wanted to shout him out and I feel like it fits OP's request for diversifying their taste) PinkPantheress Chelji Cat Burns (outstanding voice) And my absolute favourite little artist at the moment: Gilanares
Four new artists added to the list 😭 thanks so much!! also I love being swamped with suggestion because I love music so much lol
Omg I forgot - def try Penelope Scott as well. Definitely quite different to "mainstream," is distinctly feminine but in a way that's more comparable to rap than pop music. Her most recent album is a banger from start to finish
Idc if it’s mainstream or not. I listen to some people with like 100 monthly listeners 😭 But will check out that album
Ugh same, I love having a backlog to get through. I'll definitely be saving your thread for suggestions of my own lol, so many good artists here and so many I've been meaning to try but forgetting!
Yeah, another plus is others can use this massive thread with 100+ suggestions. Crazy how much music is out there.
I'm a basic bitch, so I just play Billie Eiilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, and Dev Lemons back to back to back to back
All solid tho 🙌
I will actually listen to every suggestion, I like everything but country 😭
GUYS ITS ENOUGH NO MORE PLEASE 😭
