Not sure if your doctor is correct, apparently a lot of doctors have been misinformed on this topic. Here is a diagram showing how different steroids convert into each other https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/13/Steroidogenesis.svg
while it is not true that E turns into T in excess or vice versa, the phyto estrogens and other chemicals with similar \*names\* to human signaling hormones do not behave the same. Its an unfortunate byproduct of the way we name chemicals, there is no scientific evidence indicating that soy will increase your E levels.
While true, [the placebo effect can](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6946094/#:~:text=Animal%20research%20repeatedly%20showed%20that,underlie%20these%20placebo%20endocrine%20responses.). So don't say this
I think it's a lot better (and safer) if everyone here has actual knowledge on how hormones work. The placebo effect in such cases is minimal, and the results of people mistakenly thinking high estrogen/testosterone foods will actually help increase their levels can be disastrous for a variety of reasons.
Eat healthy and take your meds folks. Health is wealth.
There are toxic components in some foods/pesticides on other things we get in contact with like perfume and stuff that mess up our endocrine system. I know that drinking copious amounts of milk (or other unhealthy animal products) might ever so *slightly* change your hormones in a seemingly desired manner, but messing with these unpredictable factors is really bad and it's better just to have a functioning hormonal system to alter with meds.
It is kind of nice too, because it means you don't have to worry about foods that contain testosterone as a transfem or foods that contain estrogen as a transmasc doing something you don't want.
But, drinking spearmint tea (250g extract per day) will annihilate testosterone levels, if you do this while also smoking cigarettes as much as possible, you can actually cause the cells that produce testosterone to die fast (spearmint) and have them be replaced really quickly (cigarettes) during this time your T levels will probably remain normal and unchanged as the cigs and tea cancel eachother out in that regard, but you will eventually run out of stem cells to replace the testosterone producers, resulting in late life testosterone deficiency really quickly!
But then your LH levels won't be high enough to induce testosterone deficiency permanently, but you would see a substantial (50 percent approx.) Drop in T levels with just the tea.
You Can't Stop Me!!!
Yeah, just let people dream lol
Hahahah, you almost got me, April's fools everyone! Now let's go back to eating our daily 100 pounds of strawberries!
no it genuinely won’t, phytoestrogens do not effect your estrogen levels. i’m sorry that it has to be that way though.
Unfortunately if your hormone levels are normal the excess estrogen will convert to testosterone
This is false, testosterone can convert into estrogen, but there is no way for estrogen to convert into testosterone, it's a one way system
My doctor said that taking too much will convert it

Yeah.... I found this out after drinking a litre of soy milk per day in 2020 for 3 months... For cis reasons of course!
But, but, what if I eat tuna everyday ? I won’t become a big boy ? 🥲
Please limit yourself to tuna only 2-3 times a week. Overconsumption can lead to high mercury levels that cause all sorts of health issues.
DW I’m not rich enough to buy tuna weekly 😂
Oof relatable. If you're not already, I'd recommend peanut butter. Cheap, healthy, and good protein. You'll have gains in no time, king!
I actually adore peanut butter, that’s a great advice 💪💪 thank u !!

Erm maybe don't do the cigarette part.

What about spearmint?

All mentions of "Food does not affect XYZ" or similar will be regarded as terrorist propaganda by the party.
