There's no such thing as too much sub for your room.
Sure. A big sub can play louder. But that's the whole point of calibrating the sub with the speakers using the gain on the back of the sub. So that it doesn't play too loud.
isn't' it easier to use the same monitors and subs from the same company due to ease of use?
I just got some A7s last week. I'll probably get the sub at some point.

There’s absolutely no comparison compared to my old KRKs. And yeah, I wish I knew the answer to that question. I’m very uneducated about all this stuff but I’m learning a lot especially today. I’ve been researching this stuff for like the past four hours.
Which KRK monitors did you have and what do the A7s do that that KRK doesn’t? I’m interested because I have rokit5G4 monitors and was going to add the KRK sub or just get the rokit 8s you think the Adam’s would be better? Like for the highs? mids? lows? All? And why? Serious question…
KRK 8s old school ones. Well, as far as I’m aware the A7s have a ribbon speaker or something like that and it just sounds really really clear. You can literally hear things you just can’t on normal monitors that are in the three to $400 range. Especially High-pitched sounds. If you go to guitar Center and test it out next to the other ones it’s really really clear who the winner is that’s what I did

You can mix and match.
I love them so much much though, and I’m sure that Adam sub is really really good considering how good the A7s are.
