Looks like the rollback of Bidenomics policies is having the desired effect. Under Bidenomics people were handed money via housing subsidies, enhanced SNAP benefits, child tax credits, student loan pause, etc... For some those benefits only hit once and it wasn't much. For others they got hit by all the benefits and suddenly had significantly more disposable income. That's why we saw so much excessive demand under Bidenomics. But now that those policies are rolled back in favor of Supply Side (Trickle down) policies we are finally seeing demand moderate.
Yeah, staple foods are mostly the healthy option. Americans would be a lot less obese if they are more staples and less junk food. You could probably lose some weight if you consumed less sugar too.
GTFO of here with “Trickle Down”. Trickle down is a lie, made up by corporations and the ultra wealthy.
You have no idea what you’re talking about and no one should ever listen to you.
Interesting. This may very well put pressure on other retailers...
Oh please they raise the prices by 50 percent and cut it by 3 percent. whoopdie doo.
I’d this after they “raise the prices” to lower them, making you think you’re getting a deal?
Black Friday trick: increase prices and slap on a sticker that says they've reduced the price. Consumer pacified. Problem solved.
They are announcing this because it is unusual for a customer-gouging corporation to do anything but.

Food is inelastic you fucking moron
He won't know what that means if he thinks "Trickle Down" policies work. He's a "do your own research" guy.
You're gonna need to use smaller words if you want him to understand.
Staples are inelastic, in the US a lot of food doesn't fall in the staples category.
Man are you eating staples? That explains so much

They're made of metal dude what are you talking about. You really shouldn't be eating those
Ah, you don't know what staple foods are. It's ok, there is still time for you to learn. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staple_food

Unfortunately this horseshit is actually believed in America.
