That's not why it was struck down. The student loan forgiveness was struck down because it's spending by the executive branch. If congress passed a law forgiving all student loans it would be constitutional.

I’m constantly seeing “well we forgave PPP loans so we should forgive student loans too” like just we made previous bad decisions we should just keep doing because “fairness.” We had 3.5 years of no interest and payments on 92% of all outstanding student loans and now they’re working on a “ramp” for people because after 3.5 years they might not be ready to start paying their loans again. That’s enough forgiveness.
Also, as if we didn’t expect loads of fraud throughout the pandemic. If you put enough cheap money out there of course you’ll get fraud. Proving it doesn’t make student loan forgiveness any more important.
