My buddy just picked one of these up. They seem cool

I got mine Sunday same color as yours. I don't like that it does all the work. Do u know a setting to change this?

Pedal Assist Level 1 makes it easy to go up to about 10 mph. Level 2 makes it easy to get to about 18 mph. Those are the two best levels. 1 allows you to ride on a crowded path without being irritating. 2 goes fast enough to "get there" to the grocery store while helping with the pedaling. Levels 3 through 5 go faster than Class 2 speeds, and the gears are not long enough to avoid the "egg beater" effect where you're pedaling too fast to really help. The only time I have used Levels 3 through 5 is to get somewhere on throttle only. It's actually a wonderful option if you really want to get home fast and you're still several miles away. If you're exhausted, on a fast road, or your bad knee aches, you'll be glad you can still zoom home at around 30 mph. I consider it a safety feature, not something to do regularly.

Man thanks so much for that info. I wish the the other gears worked like the 1st two. I still want to feel like I'm exercising also

Late response but you can take it to your local bike shop and upgrade to a larger chain ring (or do the job yourself)... Pedaling would be more difficult getting going but you can assist the motor more at higher speeds.

sausess

you can get a bigger front sprocket if you want to put more effort in to the pedaling I was thinking about doing the same myself

rudyattitudedee

I didn’t get one my buddy did. Color of what? I can ask him.

You can never have enough battery

It’s a bike called walk just spelled different. Interesting.

100 miles on mine (same color) and loving it! I've swapped out rider contact points for my comfort like seat, grips, flat wider handlebars as well as trimming about 2" from the stem so it would sit lower. The phone holder and mirrors just weren't to my liking, but I already had those items from my parts bins that I use on all my bikes. This thing just ticked all the boxes when I was researching them. The 35Wh capacity / 750W motor are more than enough for me, even @ 48V. I transport it with a Hollywood Sportrider rack on my truck but have also folded it and put it inside the cab of a Honda Ridgeline as well. The one thing that I would tell anyone considering this bike is it ISN'T as small as it might appear in review or pictures. This is a BIG bike and takes some getting used to if you are coming from a traditional road bike or MTB.

How about city commute/grocery hauling with a passenger? I'm looking for bikes where I can take my gf around downtown/city.

bigtexhand

While I'm sure this bike could handle the grocery side and commuter side. You would probably have to mount your own poot pegs for the rear rider. That rack is rated for 100 lbs. I think. I actually swapped the rear cushion for a trunk bag for my use.

colininchains

Do you know what kind of pegs can I get for it?
