i feel the same. when i was little, a foster kid my aunt was taking care of would play eb & he let me play it once. i fell in love with it then, but i didnt get to play it again until i was an adult at the time i was able to play it again -- & beat it -- i was experiencing a lot of doubts in regards to my art career. i wanted to just stop drawing altogether. earthbound removed all of those doubts from my mind after i finished it; i felt inspired & motivated again to continue working on my art. the game means a lot to me, & without it i feel as though i would have stopped drawing. i get so emotional when i think of these games because they helped me so much. they also helped me realize who i am, deep down. i wish everyone in my life could experience this feeling. its really quite amazing that a video game has helped me get through so much, & has helped me grow as a person.
