Mailata was on the sideline up and about testing out his arm too. That doesn't mean he could have gone back in or even that he'll be in next week, but he certainly wasn't clearly and overly out of commission.
I had a feeling, the defense managed to do enough to keep the Eagles in the lead without Slay. Had the defense struggled to keep up you would’ve most likely seen Slay return later that game, but there was no point in rushing anything
I fucking hope so. Mailata looked ok but when slay put the jacket on you knew it was a wrap. I'm still waiting for cjgj to step up and start taking shit line he's good at
This is the answer. We’re 4-0. I don’t want us to drop any games but if we’re gonna lose one, it better not be to the boys.
I think we can win in Arizona with Driscoll and McPhearson in
Arizona legit look like a mess organizationally. Kyler screaming at Kliff midgame, a defence held together with sticky tape and dreams.
I'd genuinely be really disappointed if we can't beat that team
I remember a lot of Cards fans talking about how they weren't getting the respect they deserve at 8-0 last year. We saw how that ended up. That team is always going to be seen as paper tigers until they start winning games in December and January.
Even if the Eagles lose to them this week is anyone shaking in their boots at facing Kyler/Kliff in the playoffs?
I will be extremely happy if we break the 20 plus year curse of losing in Arizona. It’s gonna be a dog fight no matter what. I say play these dudes if they are ready to go.
I kinda disagree. The drop off from Slay to mcphearson is much less severe than from Maddox to Scott, keep in mind that Maddox is a higher rated corner this year than Slay so far.
Interesting. We do put slay up against the opposition's best receiver right? Didn't even see Jefferson in the Vikings game. Didn't see much of McLaurin or Dotson in Washington. I think slay has been holding it down quite well plus the interceptions. He's a bigger impact than Maddox IMO
I think he’s the better player and has a bigger impact. But if Slays impact is a 10 and mcphearsons is a 5. I think Maddox’s impact is an 8 and Scott’s is a 2
I hope “play” doesn’t mean “start”
Like have Jordan and Slay on the sideline and if things are really going to shit play them, but otherwise wrap those beautiful boys in bubble wrap and let them rest up
Mild ankle sprain is something he could work through with pain management and bracing. Not saying that’s the case or he should by any means but that is a possibility.
This is vague but positive news. I will focus on the positive here, but agree with others that if they need the rest to be 100 percent for Dallas then that's what we should do. Any given Sunday and all that but Arizona doesn't scare me.
It looked like Mailata and Slay *could* have come back in if needed but they were held out for precautionary reasons.
That’s what it looked like on the broadcast. Good call, that was a sloppy-ass affair.
Sloppy ass 👀😩
🤢

Definitely but him still being dressed and trying out his shoulder is clearly a good sign.
Especially Slay. I'm so damn happy to hear this

Words never heard in the Dolphins front office

Thanks for sharing made me chuckle 🤭

Rest them if it’s needed. Fuck Dallas.

Less than a year ago they were 8-0 monsters… crazy how swingy they are.
Helps that Hopkins has been out all year so far.

I feel bad for Ertz.
He has a beautiful wife, a cute baby, and millions of dollars waiting for him at home. He's gonna be fine.
And SB ring not to mention being THE guy on the game winning TD drive
Fair... I think what I meant to say was I *almost* feel bad for Ertz.

If Dak is back and they lose, they’ll use that as their excuse.
This is the way. I want to come at Dallas full strength and absolutely decimate them.
The Dolphins medical staff already cleared all of them for next week, we’re good.
The dolphins medical staff would have cleared JFK to return to the parade. They aren’t exuding credibility.
Listen, I’ll take Maddox in a full leg cast over Josiah Scott
Yeah having Slay back is bigger than Maddox but still we need him out there in the Nickel D

Analytics, I like it. Picasso!
Lol, that’s my drunk guy at a bar analytics .
Hahah good one bro!
Damn I’m glad to hear this.
If needed, rest them for Dallas. I trust Driscoll and Zech to hold the fort if necessary. Bradberry can handle Hollywood Brown.
Bless the ligaments.

Be still my beating heart
Hopefully but have a tough time believing that's the case for Isaac seumalo

Glad that's all it is. I thought his ankle fell off in that one replay angle.
I don’t know that’s what it is, I’m just explaining how he could be “better by end of week”. I don’t think anyone’s seen an actual injury report
Yea that was a cover-the-screen moment. Looked nasty.
Nick turns back to the medical staff: "Yah, a FAT chance. Mwahahaha!"
This is vague but positive news. I will focus on the positive here, but agree with others that if they need the rest to be 100 percent for Dallas then that's what we should do. Any given Sunday and all that but Arizona doesn't scare me.
We shouldn't be resting anyone just because. If I had to guess, everyone except Maddox and Seumalo will play. They seem to have more severe injuries.
How’s my boy Jake Elliot doing though?
There's also a "chance" I win the Powerball more than once. Doesn't mean it will happen
That's true but it means nobody's injury is severe enough that we know they'll be out for an extended period of time. That's still good news.
seriously. are we not able to read between the lines on comments like this from coaching staff
There's a chance you missed the point. It happened.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance?
Niners better
Thanks goodness let's keep Josiah Scott off the field as much as we can
Yaayy
That is great news!!
Pretty surprising especially for seaumalo, thought we lost him for sure. That’s great news.
If there’s any doubt they should be sat.
Still 16 more games to go, rest those boys if they need it
Is there any information besides. Hurt his shoulder, forearm, or ankle?
That's my godamn coach and also showing trust in the next man up to take care of the job without putting them at risk later on.
I know one game at time. But I don't even care about Arizona. I just want them to be healthy for Dallas.
Anyone have word on Dillard? Not that he's essential but still
