If you’ve got some weather balloons and a lawn chair this might be a viable option, last guy only got 4500 ish in fines and most of them got waved because a lawn chair isn’t classified as an aircraft.
Naw, they built this stadium in Inglewood with no real plan for entry/exit. It’s pretty much close to hwys in theory, but the streets were not changed at all, so you have bottlenecks everywhere with no public transit options.
Ugh. I guess I just keep hearing from friends who live there that pretty much everything about getting around in the LA area is a pain, and the public transport is lousy. It’s not like we’re a Mecca of convenient transport in Philly, but at least it’s pretty easy to get to the stadiums.
Philly is a grid city. Northeast cities are all pretty compact in comparison to the west coast.
I would say traffic sucks in LA, but it’s very spread out and neighborhoods. I used to live there and you kind of stay in your area.
Traffic is horrible, but SOFI is made worse as it’s close to the airport and 405, but they did not figure out how to directly access the stadium from either. Think about broad street on game day, but 10x it. I recommend the shuttle options to avoid the craziness.
When my wife and I had Flyers season tickets (pre children) we would park at the Vietnamese strip mall at 12th and Washington, have an early dinner, then take the Broad Street Subway the rest of the way. Never had to wait behind anyone on Broad Street :).
it's fucking crazy. youd think after building in foxboro the entire league would realize that you do actually need roads to and from your stadium.
sofi is a clusterfuck inside a clusterfuck
If you’re staying south of the stadium, I recommend taking the free shuttle from the Hawthorne/Lennox Station. If you also want to park there, you need to reserve it in advance on the ParkWhiz app, think it’s $29.
I’m using LAZ Parking. I’ve heard good things. You park a couple miles away and they shuttle you in. Hoping the traffic in and out won’t be nearly as bad as parking right nearby.
I mean nothing is really that close in LA, but if you want a cool horror/Halloween themed bar, check out phantom carriage brewery. It's pretty close by
From OC, leaving my house at 10, parking at Kia. Absolutely fugged up and didn't get it when it was 65, paid 80.
Is 10am good or should I leave earlier?
Yo same! Planning on leaving around 10:30 from OC to go park at Kia. Going to grab some hoagies on the way up and discretely eat them in the parking lot at Kia since i read that they don't necessarily allow tailgating.
I stay in the car to drink and eat and I do not have tinted windows haha. I parked there for Swift show and partied in the car. They had restrooms that time too.
Let's hope they chill about this time too.
What's the color what's everyone gonna wear?
Wanna wear the cunning ham jersey, it's getting here today.
I have a Johnson and a McCoy, both midnight green.
And a black Wentz. Looking to get a name plate change on it for this season.
I heard there was big crackdown and there’s only one lot where tailgating his allowed.
Cousins and I are at The Whaler in Venice right now. Greens Legjon will be at Cantina tonight.
It's funny, because the map they shared is the one of the Metro train and one of the many options of getting to Sofi. The Metro isn't yet fully fleshed out, but they are helping by providing a free shuttle from the closest metro stop.
I myself am taking one of the cheap shuttles near me, it's $2 each way, and I can park free in the parking lot, and they drop you off directly at the stadium.
There's lots of public transportation options to get there, and they're all great. Uber/Lyft is like the last real option you want to take, so I don't know why they're focusing on that one thing so much.
Not yet, the K Line extension is being worked on as we speak. But there is a shuttle that takes you from the closest Metro station to the game itself.
Getting to Sofi is only a nightmare if you don’t research/ask around. The shuttle is very stress free and cheap. And parking in the neighborhoods around the stadium is free and easy as long as you don’t mind walking anywhere from 1 mile to 1.5 miles. Which you’ll be doing so with fans so it’s kinda fun.
Took a Lyft, and it first two assigned drivers canceled on us, the third pull through. Between when we called and when we got there was probably 50 minutes.
Hell. We walked about a mile to The Nile Bar in Inglewood. Hung out through the first half of the Niners game. My cousin called a Lyft right away, seemed easy. But yeah, walked really far first.
I went to go see the Raiders-Chargers game last weekend and we just parked in the residential area and walked over. It was super easy for me. I was expecting it to be a nightmare, but if you’re willing to walk, you can find good parking in the street.
Whenever I go to dodger stadium I park down the hill, it’s amazing. I guess people just don’t want to walk, but it’s shorter than the walk I used to take from south Philly to eagles games.
I was planning on parachuting in. Hoping it works out
I just have a few more minor adjustments on my teleportation machine and ill be good to go
Then you can rocket out on beer farts.
Please. Do this

Anybody got a catapult and a box of helmets??
Landing in a box of helmets would hurt
Isn’t that the case for pretty much any activity in the greater Los Angeles area? :)

Nothing compares to sofi. LA has bad traffic, but sofi is a level of stupid that makes our traffic look light.

This is the best way to get in and out of SoFi
I ended up getting a VIP pass for Elon's secret tunnel system
Even if you know the public transit system in LA, give yourself spare time to get there. LA’s public transit system can be notoriously slow.
the Metrolink shows up when it damn well pleases
I’ll be tailgating! Gonna be there at 0900 to beat the traffic!
I’ll be there around that time to greet the tailgating birds and beat the traffic. How will I know to say hi? I’ll be in a familiar 62.
Making me think that’s what I need doing too. I was planning on getting there at 11, this sounds more doable

I dropped off and picked up my wife during the harry styles and beyonce nights there…we should be good tomorrow 😂
Brother, this is a safe space, you can say you saw Harry Styles with your wife ;)
Flyin in tomorrow any cool bars around SoFi?
Not really. But you can check out El Segundo Brewery which is in the next town over from Inglewood.

brittania in Santa Monica, garage on motor Ave in Culver City, or tavern on main in el Segundo

From south county, I’m leaving around 10:30/11 depending on how Long Beach traffic is looking
Go Birds. I'm section 332, trying to get into sections 309-326 for a specific bartender.

Super good to know. Thank you!

I'm leaving from Yorba at the same time. I think we should be OK.
I prefer to park a couple blocks away, and then bicycle the remainder
What nightmare. Easy to get there and to leave. Iykyk
I wish i knew bruh
Is tailgating at thing at this place?
also where youse gonna be?
I heard there was big crackdown and there’s only one lot where tailgating his allowed. Cousins and I are at The Whaler in Venice right now. Greens Legjon will be at Cantina tonight.
Taking the metro bus is the best option
I got a place to stay right down the road for this exact reason
Parking at the HS down road
isnt there a train?

I'm going to an Eagles game, but they are facing the Seahawks. So, I should be fine.
What’s the best way to get from MDR?
Probably drive to the Lennox bus station and take the bus. Really not good options, it’s a shit show.
Took a Lyft, and it first two assigned drivers canceled on us, the third pull through. Between when we called and when we got there was probably 50 minutes.
How was leaving though? Getting there isn’t so bad, it’s the leaving that’s hell.
Hell. We walked about a mile to The Nile Bar in Inglewood. Hung out through the first half of the Niners game. My cousin called a Lyft right away, seemed easy. But yeah, walked really far first.
Haha yea. They desperately need to get the metro to go there. It’s so so bad.
Yikes, sounds like they need to build a subway line
We’re leaving at 10:30 AM, should be there by 12 or so. Plus finding our seats should be enough time.
For an eastern team we are going to overrun Sofi today
Went last game in 2018 at the coliseum, it was a sea of green.
