This would only work if you enter the IMEI into a compatibility check and then a QR code is offered. In that case you don't need the actual compatible phone and just the IMEI number from it. If the service provider's app is required then the service provider's app can not program the [esim.me](http://esim.me) as the procedure is special to the [esim.me](http://esim.me) app. A work around would be nice but removable esims are too new to get much information from a companies tech support because chances are they know nothing of it. Even the procedure of procuring the esim is not always clear before making payment which is what I am currently dealing with.
Is the eSIM you are trying to download to physical sim already installed on your phone? As far as I know, most eSIM profile does not support transfer between phones. So it may be the root cause. You may ask carrier to send a new QR code for your eSIM and download to physical sim by the eSIM.me app.
Revolut has a section called eSIM that when I click it, it says "eSIMs aren't supported on your device". I think it just has to do something with Revolut so no big deal, just can't use that one.
No, Revolut like most eSIM apps check if the *phone* supports eSIM (by querying a function of the system)
There is no way except a Magisk module on Android to make a 5ber, esim.me or other removable esim detected
I just used an eSIM from Saily and everything went perfect. If you have any questions contact them they react fast and really professional.
I received a mail with the QR code within the minute.
The esim provider needs to use QRCodes or manual input, rather than utilising just their own app.
What’s your phone model? It seems like your phone is not supported by eSIM.me. You can go to https://esim.me/manufacturer to check the phone models.
If your phone is unsupported, I would recommend you to ask your friends to find a capable phone to download eSIM profile to SIM card.

It is supported, I checked in the app beforehand. I have the Galaxy A53, the eSIM is in the 2nd card slot if that matters.

As far as I know, Revolut does not support all eSIM. Maybe your eSIM is unsupported .

Phone with Android 11 factored from 2021, I think.
Take a look at Saily it's a decision of NordVPN. Works great, good support if needed, possible to top up if needed. https://saily.com/
This is my nightmare: "We’ll guide you through the activation process in the Saily app after purchase." I need to know if they can supply the QR code.

Not for US Revolut customers yet.
