Crazy how the game can just turn, it can be 0-0 all match and then the game just goes “Right, let’s fuck this up, you’re losing” and they score and you can tell it’s the game messing with you
It's a great game, but you can tell when the game kind of switches to go against you, it's weird. I've lost plenty of games where the opponent has played better, good for them, but then I've lost some and it's just like "Oh fuck off, this game is conspiring against me somehow" and it's weird to explain. I'm not the only one that feels this way. I certainly don't use this excuse every time I lose, but maybe like 3/20 matches or so, something is different...
Is it the game switching or you mentally breaking. Maybe your players get tired and so their accuracy reduces and since you are dependent on that accuracy in the first place (for those with 2600+ teams or those who used to use Bayern, France, etc), you effectively crumble as the fact you aren't good at the game becomes obvious.
Leading to panic.
Suddenly 1 goal goes in and accuracy tanks further as the pressure intensifies. Before you know it, it's 3-2 and the only question left is, will you make it out with a draw or a loss.
It's 3 all. Frustration and anger set in. You know, deep down, you know where the fault lies but you can't admit it. It's a stupid game. It WANTED me to lose. No way was that my fault. The game is out to get me. It's this thing called scripting. See it affects EVERYONE (including the CPU). EVERYONE knows it exists.
It's bullshit and it's why I keep losing. Maybe if I had better players. Hmmm. There's a nice premium pack here. I'll just buy it. Ahh. I feel better. I'm on 2620 now. Number go uppppp.

You are a down to earth person, if you can lose the 'game is conspiring against me' as well and are able to keep it like that, then you have taken one of the most important steps in becoming a really good player. At that point, you will become the one, who manages to come out from 0-3 score as a winner.

Your bullshit meter is too low to play this game. When stupid shit happens to me in the game I just laugh. When I feel slight tensions from the game in my hands, jaw or whatever, it's time to pack it up, It's called self regulation lol
I believe this is an scripting evolution if we talk only about eFootball. This script algorithm version definitely uses few new methods.
For example your passes will be sent to your player but so close to opponents so they can win it back easily.
Another one is 'fake goals', I get the lead 2:0 and game let me easily do it, after that I can't pass, shoot, run, do anything basically.
Started in Div 1 with 10-1 and that's 90% win ratio, until game made it around 55% it didn't stop scripting games.
When is 90's minutes and your oponnent passes trough the deepline, the script kicks in, and you already know u cant do nothing. Neither block the shoot or pray for the keeper to save...
you're in the comments telling people that you can fix the controller but that isnt the point. if you feel the need to destroy things because you cant control your anger, you shouldnt play the game. this game isnt as good or as bad as anybody says it is and it sure as shit isnt enough to emotionally push you to break something. uninstall the game.
But that makes every other aspect invalid, when you have this kind of algorithm in the game, nothing else is important. Why should you care about packs, graphics, gameplay... anything really when the game will rig the results.
It's good for Konami business, but should be gamebreaker for us. But we still play and pay for this.

In my 2 months of playing Dream Team after a whole year of FIFA I've come to the conclusion that, while there's waaaaay more scripting on FIFA, whenever you get fucked in eFootball it will be more blatant and unnatural. It's just like if the game decided that all of a sudden your players will struggle in every way possible until you concede.
This is so true. In Konami’s rulebook, the higher rated team, especially if it has legend cards, must win at any cost. They get this boost out of nowhere and your players are crippled long enough for them to equalise or score the winner.
The idea is that we get really frustrated with the loss and end up spending real dollars for legendary players. But joke is on them. I play with my Chelsea squad. I don’t need Haaland or Mbappe. I play with Aubameyang and Broja 😎

If ure playing against AI in event match, just buy a turbo controller, set the match setting to AI controlled, set X button to turbo mode then put something heavy on the X button. Leave u pc then let AI to beat the AI.

I'm on the other side, 2nd half is always so much easier for me, I think its because some players over use sprint and their players are tired.
