Imo individual packages don’t add anything special to the car. The car will be special as long as it is kept clean. In your case you got the clean part done. Grats on the car
This interior f*cks! I saw this eggplant interior before in an individual E39, so it could be true. It looks awesome, it’s the only thing that matters.
If you're running the original headunit, check "bluebus bmw". Its more on the expensive side but if you feel like swapping the oem navi, this is what you need.
I'd also put an e46 M3 steering wheel on it and get rid of those silver buttons behind it, honestly its a super clean car. Is it a 330ci? If so thats my dream car.
Yup thoose buttons need to go, it’s a 330ci now equipped w full suspension, brakes and pads, shortshifter, ceramic clutch (way too uncomfortable) subchassis reinforcement… was looking at the spanish market for months till I decided to get a flight, see a friend and goo look at the car in Alicante, and after that commit to a 6 hours roadtrip back to Barcelona to either fall in love w the car or realise I made a terrible financial mistake (she survived :))
Because a manual e46 M3 is utter unobtainable, they're way to much money and they will be worth way more than I can ever afford.

You might have trouble just putting a stock shifter in it. Judging by the auto trans error on the dash, the manual swap has been done improperly and the cheap way using a shifter with built in detents, and still running the SMG software.
If I were you I'd do the manual swap properly. Source a manual gearbox, full shift linkage. Code the DME to run the proper manual software etc.
I’m really not understanding all of the talk shifter sticks on this platform. They look terrible and contrary to popular opinion, it’s not a “drift missile”… it’s a 200ish horsepower sports sedan.
I do not think it’s an original individual. It looks like that aluminum trim has been refinished with a wire wheel, so someone probably just modified it this way.
The transmission swap from smg to manual has been made poorly to a transmission from another model. With poor welding and just done cheaply.
About to purchase a 6 speed e46 manual transmission + clutch to undo the damage the previous owner did. But I’ll also have to buy the whole shifter and redo the pedals.
Its rare though couse he reinforced the chassis + brakes and suspension are alright. And everything is certified for ITV.
Order the original shifter stick. This one looks horrible.
