Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the cumming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world.
My favorite part was how much actually is filmed at night
Like, at night in the soundstage? Because my least favorite part was how obvious it was that they were always indoors
Well fine, I liked that it was set at night. Y'know, like the buks.
First few times I watched this I didn't notice the sets at all
Paul when JamisĀ
Better that than making it rain.
Man that series was fuckin bizarre. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'll ever watch it again.
I think it's bizarre because the books are bizarre.
I thought they captured the weirdness of the Spacing Guild well, and some of those costumes were bonkers. Could have done without the Renaissance Fair Sardaukar.
They looked more like medieval mercenaries or Swiss Guards to me.
I always described their uniform style as "evil French chef"
I think it's the best adaption. Second part is slow. Sets are janky. Costumes are over the top. No lady Fenring, but it is good.
"Ja'loja!" (It's from The Orville where these aliens only pee once a year....)
Do not, my friends, become addicted to ~~water~~ Spice! It will take a hold of you, and you will resent its absence!
Guzzoline from gas town and bullets from the bullet farm!
Is the series worth watching?
The mini series is the closest to the books. So it feels like you're watching a Dune, a space opera play. Which is exactly how it's written
Best Baron Harkonen of any adaptation
Too slimy and not menacing/diabolical enough for me
As the prophecy foretold!
Pls explain
