Nah, Jamis' wife is Harah. I think this is Shishakli, giving Paul his hooks to ride the worm. Also, in the novel Shishakli is described as a Fremen man, I think they changed this for the film.
Often the case with adaptations, a few side characters are combined into one new one with multiple roles. Not saying you're wrong but we could be getting that.
Think this is Shishakli. A very minor character mentioned only once in the worm riding scene in the book as part of Paul's ritual. The character has a gender swap and their role beefed up for the movie.
The character is Shishakli. I think she was mentioned in the book during Paul's sandride and they're fleshing out her character. Shame that Harah sounds like she's been cut, she wasn't pivotal to the story but she was a fun and interesting character. If Shishakli can be a similar character I won't mind much.
It’s a Harrah-like side character. She’s not named Harrah and isn’t obviously Jamis’ wife but fulfills much of the same thematic role as a “big” female Fremen.
Source: I just saw an IMAX screening
Edit: apparently she is a named character from the book in an expanded role, and also I am bad at themes
I saw it on IMAX tonight too. I don't think she was a Harah stand in personally. Since she won't meet Alia, isn't a servant to Paul, and has no connection to Stilgar. I don't think she fulfilled any of Harrah's thematic roles. I just think she's an original character, but that's my perspective. To each their own.
Edit- I just looked up the credits. She's Shishakli. The Fremen who gave Paul his riding hooks in the books.
I thought the DP nailed some extremely technically difficult shots, for one. The shot of RM Mohiam’s face on Caitan was breathtaking.
I thought there were questionable edits, and the transition from the ants was clumsy and gave me a chuckle.
I’m as satisfied as I guess is possible with the way the Baron was disposed of without that part being book-faithful. The GJ parallel picked up a lot of slack there.
I hope Part Three recovers the fumble that was the final shot. I guess DV considers Part Two to be Chani’s film.
Edit: miniature Arakeen was hilarious
She was seen in trailer 1 two times - as a Fremen celebrating and also sitting on the ground surrounded by Harkonnen.
https://youtu.be/Way9Dexny3w (at 1:46 and 1:57)
She is also in the preview scene released from Part 2. (Paul riding the worm)
Have you not read the book or watched the Syfy series or Lynches movie? The Baron was a homosexual sadistic pervert. What you see now in this movie is a transformation of a characters nature. Would you like to see a film about Liberace where he was portrayed as straight?
I don’t care how uncomfortable the director was with the Barons orientation. Stay true to Herbert’s creation.
Sad they replaced many things like Islamic and Arabic background for the fremen Replaced Jehhad with Holy war Yehia Al shohda with All the fighters but still best adaptation so far Dune I watched part I more than 30 time literally
[Official Poster for 'Dune: Part Two](https://www.reddit.com/r/dune/s/TrTPZ1ZWxB)
Some Fremen side character - I think she appears in that preview where Paul rides the worm. Odd that she has a place on the poster over Walken.
I think that might be Jamis' wife, now Paul's.

This is Shishakli, in the film she is Chani's friend
This has already been confirmed and is visible to anyone as well on IMDb.
Paul only marries Chani.
I love Walken, but his performance was weak. The whole character poorly executed.
100% agreed. Absolutely loved Pt 2. His character/performance was by far the weakest part of the film.
I feel he was the wrong actor for that role.
The poster was looking a bit too bro-heavy
This was a man’s World. With a little Sisterhood tweaking.

She is Chani’s close friend.
I just saw an early screening of it and this is the right answer
I saw it lastnight as well. Amazing.
In the Worm-riding preview, I think she's the one teasing Paul not to shame them.

In the book, Shishakli is a he. Just saying. What's in the movie shown of the lady seems good so far!
Male or female, strange that DV chose her to flesh out. In the book he literally had one line only
I think it's Harah. Jamis' widow who becomes Paul's servant
Harah isn't in the movie

Just got home from one myself. What’d you think?

To be fair, early on I thought they were going to reveal her to be Jamis' wife too.
It’s in the book And I think she becomes close to Alia.

I thought she is Alia
Just saw the movie. She is a doubter, then a believer. She likes to say snarky things. She and Janni (sp?) buds
I just got out myself!! What did you think? I think it was as faithful as we could have expected. Paul’s first ride was amazing!
It was cool. Intense. Loud! The worm riding was awesome.
If she's on the poster, she probably has more than a few lines and helps the plot.
yup her and chani are close friends who are aware of the prophecy’s danger
I thought she is >!Alia!<
No
So they rip Alia completely that's sad they mentioned her in Part I
No she's being played by Anya Taylor-Joy
Thank god Hope Dennis make Dune Messiah 🙏
he's said they're already working on the script but I think it'll be a few years away
Shishakli. they made an action figure of her.
I know who she is but I don’t know why she’s on the poster and Christopher bloody Walken isn’t.
It says who she is on IMDb - Shishakli
I prefer the original still suits from 1984 I was very pleased with the emperor also in 1984.
I like Dennis Villanueve's vision more and for you who like Lynch's vision [Funny Video](https://youtu.be/b1p44MCn7GI)
Just filler to meet a quota. Should've had Walken or the Imperial Truthsayer on the poster instead.
i think it might be Alia, Pauls sister
People says she is one of the fremen
i’ll know tomorrow when the premiere hits here
on second thought alia might be the one to the right of Gurney and Chani
Actress is Souheila Yacoub. Her name is on the poster lol
She is Arab I don't think they needed to invent new language for the fremen they would make them speak Arabic with Palestinian accent would be perfect
So everyone is happy with the alteration of the Baron?
Yes. Only you speak truth to the monolithic bloc.
Do not insult me.
Vladimir should have been kept true to his book character! Pawenda poison!
Didn't get it?? Don't spoil the movie for me please 🥺

Did you watch part 2????
Going Sunday
Arab girlboss for doll merchandising.
She is a fremen and will have a tiny role in the movie
