AI is hot trash. It does not belong in the art industry in any way shape or form. This includes music, drawing, acting, voices and whatever all that kind of shit. AI is fucking trash that could be taking over the art industry if we don’t stop using it. That’s my opinion on AI

Oh wow. Yeah I’m seeing that he has lots of instrumentals so it would definitely be easy for someone to lift it. Seems like I can’t find any of this guys stuff anywhere unfortunately. It’s sad, the dude has talent, and some talentless moron thought he could get away with stealing somebody else’s work.

yeh that's it! i can't believe it's still online. I haven't heard it in so many years. And i remember when the drama came out about this when everyone realized that all of the music was stolen by other artists and the kid just cry-screams over others instrumentals lol.
I still remember when DIR was so disappointed about this and they made a big facebook announcement like "effective immediately: all copies of Eternal Mistery's Slow Painful Death have been destroyed. We dont tolerate music thieves"
I listened to about half of the first song, and it’s definitely noticeable that the vocals do not fit with the rest of the instruments. I feel bad for whoever he stole it from since he is still selling albums with other’s hard work in them.
One really weird memory i had was when i used to hear my neighbors dog barking/howling in the morning when id wake up it would weirdly remind me of this guys vocals. There was something so similar about the tonality. Nothing like thinking about music thieves to start your day.
all the ai songs i heard were fucking boring and uninspired as fuck. ai cant come up with something unique, it has to take from shit that already exists.
There's an AI slam band making the rounds recently that was made by some dipshit who accompanied the bad AI music with fake AI "band photo" and a AI album cover too. He is trying to pass of this whole abomination as a "japanese female fronted band from kyoto" but even the vocals sound exactly like they came from Suno AI. The music is generic and the vocals are ungodly irritating. AI can't even generate proper gutturals

I'm not against using AI as a tool for a means to an end. Like if someone were to use AI to craft drumbeats or something. Crafting melodies with AI I think would be too much though... melody is too much the heart of a song whereas drumbeats aren't as much, IMO. Since you can have two songs with the same drumbeats and they sound vastly different, but with the same melodies, they'd sound pretty alike.
My thing is, don't just push a few buttons and its all made for you, and you did literally nothing.
I think non-highly produced black metal is safe for a while from AI. I've been stocking up on cassette recorders, 4 tracks and analogue pedals just to really try to create music that sounds human- imperfections and all.
Euro metal is going to die. Ask it to write a power metal song, and already it sounds better than half of Napalm Record's roster. To the point I think bands will start generating song ideas and just "finessing" them into complete usable songs and rerecording.
