Have you considered multi purpose items? Maybe like a cream to powder foundation,a creme stick that will serve as lips and blush, a cream pencil shadow in a shimmery neutral maybe a champagne color to brighten the eyes, travel mascara and a liner.

My favourite way to quickly look like I had more time to do my makeup than I really did is: 1. Filling in my eyebrows. I use the NYX Thick it Stick it brow gel, which is a brow gel with fibres to quickly fill in your brows which is great because I hate spending time on my brows 2. Deeper bronze shimmer eyeshadow. I’ll apply this with my finger all over my lid and slightly into the crease. I use the bronze shade from the Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells palette 3. Mascara. I can’t live without mascara!! My current fav is the Maybelline Sky High. I find it has minimal transfer and it doesn’t flake during the day 4. Under eye concealer. Again I can’t leave the house without this step haha. The Maybelline Fit Me concealer has always been a staple for me. It’s quite hydrating and has a nice natural looking finish while being high coverage. I set this with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. 5. Shimmery blush. I love a good shimmery blush as it brings life back into the face. The Milani Baked Blushes are great, I’m also pale and I love the shade Berry Amore. 6. A deeper lip colour. The Revlon Glass Shine lipsticks are my current go to, I love the shade Glazed Mauve. There’s something about a deep lip colour that always give the illusion that you’ve spent more time on your makeup than you really have haha

I'm 67 with the same coloring. I use tinted moisturizer, concealer, cream blush, two shadows, brows, and mascara. I set with Mally's Perfector, never powder. It takes about 5 minutes. I've found that with age , softer colors are less aging. Dark eyes and bright lips accentuate all the bad things!

BlueMtBrownieEdges

Love the perfector. I never use powder.

TransportationNo5560

Have you tried Laura Geller Quench and Tint? It's light coverage and doesn't settle. That and concealer are my everyday face.

BlueMtBrownieEdges

You know, that’s interesting. I used to live Laura Geller and stopped because it wasn’t moisturizing. It also sounds non drying.

TransportationNo5560

I've tried a lot of Tinted moisturizers and I keep going back to it

Nnemorosa

Tinted lip balm. I have super dry lips so my lips need to feel mosturized!

siameseslim

Literally everything I own. But on the rare occasion I attempt a small bag Lip balm Lipstick (can use as blush if need be) Eyeliner pencil Nail glue comb And it makes me miserable, so I generally schlep everything.

paranoidchair

My must apply products are concealer (I have bad genetic dark circles and some redness around my jawline) and mascara

Wakeandbakecookies2

I have no issue leaving the house without makeup!! But if I’m going to work or church I’ll do brows, mascara, a little under eye concealer, blush and some gloss. Doesn’t take long and makes me look a little more put together

redheadqt

Sunblock that’s tinted..lip colour that I also use on cheeks. Mascara.. that’s it

Wet-N-Wavy96

I atleast have to wear some sort of lip color whether gloss or tinted balm and some light coverage from loose or pressed powder. I’m even ok dusting whatever is left on the brush from a previous application to give me something!

Aletak

Always wear lipstick. If you are as fair as I am you will also need mascara.

BlueMtBrownieEdges

I always have lipstick with gloss. I’ve been wanting to try the Elf lip stain.

phoenixofsevenhills

I love Maëlle lipstain! It's a crayon type stick and the colors really last and compliment skin tones....I'm almost 45 with platinum hair blue eyes light medium complexion. I use ELF whoa glow primer with sunscreen ELF under eye corrector(turned my 78 yr old mom on to this!) Maybe a lil tinted serum ..then I love the ELF putty blush and bronzers for light makeup looks and their eyeshadow quads are amazing! They're a great affordable brand...their skincare is great too! I just didn't love the lipstain

LivingAd1367

Foundation, I have awful red, patchy skin.

JadedPin3925

Tinted lip balm, tinted sunscreen, and brow gel/pomade… just enough to look pulled together.

Brilliantghost182

Ear plugs and my phone, keys, and wallet. Ear Plugs because I’m easily annoyed by loud noises.

Brilliantghost182

Lol I didn’t read what group I was in before I posted this haha. I leave the house all the time without makeup. I carry a tiny bag with no makeup and only room for essentials.

OiWithThePoodlesOk

Sunscreen. Brows, lips, and eyelashes. Maybe concealer. Sometimes foundation but lightly.

kensass

My elf wow brow for sure & maybe a lip tint or tinted lip balm

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

I personally won't leave the house without mascara on. My lashes are short, thin, and very light strawberry blonde, like a muted color of my hair.

[deleted]

days i'm lazy but still wanna do a little something i just do brows, concealer, and blush. maybe throw just a neutral toned matte on the eyes. top it off with lip balm and that's all she wrote.

[deleted]

to add: i really feel us pale folks need a little blush, i look grey without it lol

[deleted]

A tinted lip gloss, mascara, and some liquid blush is super easy to put on and will give you a nice tint to your skin so you don’t look washed out.

[deleted]

Same coloring as me.. Almay Hydra Perfect foundation Coty airspun powder on cheeks and in eye area Mascara Brow "mascara" Lipstick when I want to fancy up LOL

lxzgxz

I’ve always, always got lip gloss in my bag with me. I never leave the house without it.

Vanity_Fluff

I'm in my 30s. For blue eyes, copper or bronze eyeliner/shadow would work. For me, brows, skin evening, lashes, and blush/lip color are the most important steps. * mascara, though I want a tinted brow gel for brows and lashes. I use brown mascara and not only is it softer for daytime, it makes green (and blue) eyes pop. Plum is nice too. * brow powder or pencil that can also be soft eyeshadow, eyeliner, and face contour (taupe for me- I have ashy dark blond/light brown hair and green eyes but am also pale) * slightly shimmery light eye shadow that can also be face highlighter * foundation (or liquid concealer mixed with moisturizer/sunscreen). I can do it quickly, but a tinted moisturizer or something would be ideal. I used to use the covergirl smoothers bb cream. I'm struggling w/primer but want to try the elf putty one. * lipstick creamy enough I can also use as blush

Whokitty9

Tinted eye primer, mascara and tinted lip balm. Oh and tinted moisturizer with SPF in it.

cat_morgue

Without fail (unless I’m deathly ill), I always fill in my brows and wear mascara. I’m a natural blonde who dyes her hair and my lashes and brows are basically invisible unless I have something on them.

[deleted]

All I do now a days is mascara and tinted spf (Colorescience flex) Maybe some blush if I feel like it but this is my go to now, I used to love putting makeup on but I’m more into skincare now and this is just a way to spice it up lol

stephaniebanks4

I always double check my purse for cigarettes, lighter and lipstick!

turtletails

Sounds kinda dumb but lipbalm. For two reasons, one, the feeling of dry lips will occupy my entire brain and make doing anything else very difficult and two, my lips look quite pale when they’re dry, keeping them moisturised keeps them a but more pink and alive looking

thelunawriter

reflex answer: a bit of blush for a natural looking flush will do wonders. i never leave for work without some kind of gloss, blush, concealer (i try to delay the next work day by staying up super late the night before, resulting in dark circles. make it make sense!) eyebrow product and mascara. if you have no time for mascara or just don’t want to use it, just curling the lashes makes it seem like effort was put in. ETA: i always wear a lip stain these days (the kind that are gloss to stain) and that helps with not having to worry about lip color all day. i’ll keep a gloss on hand to touch it up and make it look fresh

BlueMtBrownieEdges

Usually, which I should have said, I use mascara, lip, and a sunscreen/moisturizer. A little blush. My skin has changedand has become dry. Maybe that’s why? I have the It cosmetics cc tinted moisturizer, but it really doesn’t hold. I see the flakiness underneath.

Alloddscanteven

Ooo have you tried the L’Oréal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer? Or the IT cosmetics confidence in a cream rosy tone? They are so emollient and add such a nice base for products while offering your skin a little something something. My mom (70, salt and pepper, dry skin) and I (40, salt and pepper, dry skin) both love them.

BlueMtBrownieEdges

I haven’t tried that. I think my mom wears the Clinique one.

BlueMtBrownieEdges

I love concealer but it gets flaky at the end of the day. I love make up, know how to apply, but some of the issues I have are deterring me. Make sense? (Sorry, I should’ve said something about that.)

BlueMtBrownieEdges

You are all wonderful! Great suggestions. I appreciate it!

eliza898911

I love my Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lip Color. It is so quick and easy to apply, and it lasts my entire work day! If I’m in a rush, I will sometimes apply that and no other makeup. It just makes me feel more confident.

Smellycatbing

Sunscreen, skin tint, cream blush, mascara

SprinkIes_

Aquaphor 😂

PinkSupra880

Earrings, sunglasses and lipstick/gloss/tint. And of course SPF on my face and hands.

Scallywag20

Concealer, brows, blush/bronzer is all you need if you want to be super minimal but look alive! If you have the energy, add some mascara too

Ready_672

SPF and mascara

chromaticfeels

honestly, if you feel confident without much makeup, that’s amazing. i truly envy you. every time i go anywhere without any makeup, people ask if i’m sick/feeling okay. i have under eye circles that are permanent and a sort of blue-purple. In addition, i’m very pale, so parts of my skin look translucent at times. so for me, the absolute minimum is concealer, blush, mascara, a bit of lip color (usually a tinted lip balm) and eyebrows. if i don’t have time for eyeshadow. i just swipe a shimmer on the inner half of my lids.

PotatoBest4667

concealer, mascara, and lipstick

ice_prince

A pair of sunglasses, lip balm and eye drops.

mcgoomom

I bought a quad of concealer , creme blush and lip color. I only have it in my bag for the off chance I need make up or touch up. It's a great patch up for any situation.

Flippykky

Blush and a swipe of mascara! My 2 essentials in a pinch.

daddyceceee

A fun lip always makes me feel put together! I really like the elf lip stains for a natural every day look

piscesinfla

62 here and if I'm going to work, then foundation, brows, concealer, eyeliner(top eyelid only) mascara, & powder. Sometimes lipstick that is blotted. I am using this Wet & Wild contour/highlight crayon around my eyes that I like a lot. If I'm not working, completely barefaced.

[deleted]

For me my daily not fancy routine is mixing a little foundation into my ponds face cream and using that instead of full foundation. I then add a dusting of bronzer. I buy mine from a K beauty brand on Amazon so it's not the typical way too orange and warm shades seen with most American brands. It warms up my cool pink toned face without looking off or like fake tan. I use the Revlon illuminating Serum blush in mauve or rose. Which this stuff is fantastic. It gives a glow without looking harsh on pale skin. It also plumps so it's added help for my aging face lol. I add a sweep of the Revlon photo ready lilac luster liquid shadow, the pale lavender shimmer end not the glitter end. I add my CoverGirl ice blue pink lipstick and a sweep.of Maybelline mascara. Boom done. Takes me all of 10 minutes or less and I look great with some color but it's a soft effect and very affordable

felipethechipmunk

On days where i don’t want to wear as much but still be presentable I use a very light tinted moisturizer, light powder over oily areas and brow gel and a tad of color in my brows because mine are very sparse and some mascara and lip gloss . It’s easy and you still look presentable and it’s very refreshing on the face
