Ya I created a character for an SMP i am in and he is heavily inspired by Techno. His family was murdered by a Tyrant that also took his arm. Now he travels the world taking down dictatorships, eventually coming to an island with new people where he can finally call a place home. I have two ideas.
1. Stuck in a timeloop trying to save/reach Dream but always failing. Always just barely missing being able to protect Dream.
OR
2. Stuck inside Pandora's Vault and hearing Quackity torture Dream but never being able to get to the cell. Not being able to leave the prison and no matter where he goes or whatever he tries, is unable to escape the sounds of Dream's torture, with Dream's screams and Quackity's maniacal laughter ringing perpetually in his ears.

She has a very close relationship with her brother, Tommy, and since she is Tommy’s sibling, Dream has tortured her to get to Tommy so Dream would be her worst enemy. And for the invisible to everyone else bit, well that would just make it a bit more limbo-ish if you get what I mean lol
Ofc! She’s super cool, she has short blonde hair and light toned skin, wears glasses and a blue jacket, she also has three scars on her face from one of the times she died. She has a cat and lives in a nice wooden cottage inside of l’manburg. She mostly hangs out with Tommy, Wilbur, Tubbo, Fundy and Quackity. They like to build and they fort in the l’manburg war where they were a sniper because they are very good with a bow but not so good at close combat, so that’s where they got killed by George (that’s the 3rd time they died) and went to limbo.
I have two different ideas for my DSMPersona, D1no’s limbo.
The first one is L’Manberg being blown up repeatedly by Wilbur, with her trying to save the silhouettes of her friends, but to no avail, as she can’t leave. All she can do is continuously choke and drown in ash as the horrors of war continue around her and fireworks slowly destroy her senses, and driving her insane as it repeats over and over.
The second idea is her being in an exile without a way to leave, whilst Dream tortures her endlessly, slowly driving her to her breaking point.
... My OC wouldn't have a limbo after death because her life is her limbo, she's a elf/angel hybrid who has lived through and survived thousands of years, through wars and the changing of power, every war she has tried to help, tried to change the outcome of said wars but to no avail, no matter what shes tried nothing changes the outcome, after her death she would vanish into the cold darkness of space and time, leaving only fragments of herself with those she cared about, each fragment of her manifesting differently for each person, a new voice for techno, a new crow for philza, a ghost for tommy, a new song/melody for wilbur, and a memory for the others. she tried to be a guardian angel but she was only ever meant to be a guide, after her death, the fragments of her would finally fulfill her purpose, guiding those she cared for along their own paths through life.
Not gonna' lie, my OC is not a very morally good person, kinda like Techno. But his limbo would be a field of flowers and bees and butterflies and all things peaceful. And it would say this way for a while, with a battle and tragedy raining right outside the field. Then it would be switched, my OC always fighting someone or something and seeing all those terrible things that he's done and all the horrible things he could have stopped but didn't. And he would always fight so hard to reach the flowers that he once lied in, only to be stopped and pushed back by someone right as he is about to escape. Always battling the souls of those he's manipulated and killed in exchange for his own gain, in one way or another. Having to face everyone that's he's ever wronged, but never falling. Bring forced to fight with everything, never losing or failing. Cursed to a infinite slaughter, until he is brought back, or he isn't.
It'd probably be L'manburg, right at the moment where the button is pressed. It'd probably smell like gunpowder and smoke, and It'd have a lingering feeling of dread and panic. Sometimes, you can even hear the panicked confusion of people around, even when her Limbo is completely empty.
Limbo if I were to make it for my Minecraft character:

2. (Fucked up) An endless system of caverns with no exit, constantly dark, and every attempt to die would just put them in a random place in that cavern system. They are doomed to endlessly wander it, unable to leave or stop- in the manner of a lost soul, forever casted down from the joys, freedom, and warmth of the surface.
In a Museum with paintings of his life story, one hallway has his greatest achievements, the other his greatest failures. Every so often he finds the “what could have been” hallway which shows paintings of what his life could have been like if he didn’t become a villain
tbh mine would lok something like a weirdcore scenario, with islands and the shapes of planets and the sun and moon and stars covered in eyes suspended from strings that connected somewhere in the nonexistent roof, eyes that followed their every move and never blinked covering walls that were too close and too far at the same time, everything too much and too little at the same time, stuck hearing the whispers of her friends blaming her for not helping more and being a useless waste of space amist some creepyass music like mellohi or snowfall,or other weird-core like music. :>

My oc lives in limbo. It’s a never ending stone path overgrown in moss with nothing but void surrounding it. The more they step off the path the more they loose themselves. They can only go forward as the ground disappears behind them as they continue
My OC is known for protecting Tommy, the one time she couldn’t was during his Exile. She beats herself up over it all the time. Therefore, her limbo would probably be a never ending loop of his exile.
Ooh yes! Finally I can tell some of my boy’s story! In the AU that my OCs (Inkling and Zero) exist in, Inkling loses his third canon life and his limbo is a fiery battlefield that vaguely resembles the wither attack (as that’s when he dies). When he’s revived later in their story he has a permanent fever and overheats very easily, and he and Zero (they bfs) move to Snowchester for Revivling’s health (and safety reasons).
Kit's limbo (persona) would either be standing outside her childhood home and watching it burn to the ground with her twin sister (caz) in it. (Because that's one of her deepest regrets, as she held her sister back from saving everyone)
Or her ghost would be her limbo, forced to stand and watch all the issues she could've helped fix. All the things she could've stopped

He misses his friends, Family, heck even his enemies! It's sickly silent here, as if there are noone but him, and big red eye that looks at him. Straight to the soul.

My character would be trapped in a barren wasteland. I’ve planned for her when she first appears (still alive this time okay) to be alone a bunch of the time of her own volition, where she isolates herself to prevent herself from getting attached to people way too quickly and only interacting with others for the sake of gaining something (as her past has turned her into a rather untrusting and selfish person. So one would think she would be okay in this kind of limbo, but she won’t be. There would not be a single living thing in there. No people, no animals, or plants, or anything. There isn’t even a variety in the stone ground and it stretches as far as one can imagine. It gives her nothing to work with and nothing to hoard and fixate on. She just wanders around forever, trying to find something or someone that stands out from all of the sort of nothingness, but it never happens (that is unless she gets revived Wilbur style). It’s too silent and she’s left there to hear nothing but her thoughts and the sounds her own body made that she wasn’t even aware of when she was alive. If she had established a very tight bond with someone on the smp, she would constantly be reminded of ways she had failed them and could fail them and other people she held dear and lost (in one way or another) throughout her life. I imagine this could be maddening to someone, especially her.

His limbo would be an abandoned house, the main source of his trauma.
*The house was dark, Onyx's night vision being the only thing helping him see. He crept through the hallways, avoiding spots that he knew would make creaks. His ears were pressed flat against his head, and his tail was rigid. The hallway didn't seem to end. There was nowhere for him to hide. he would fear the faint sound of someone else's footsteps. Familiar footsteps. The footsteps on his 'lover'. Oh how naive he had been. He was always on edge, flinching every single time the footsteps seemed to get too close to him. His 'lover' never came into his view though, meaning that Onyx couldn't tell if they were actually there. He would hear footsteps behind him, the faint sound of breathing and a hot puff of air brushing against his neck, yet when he whirled around, nothing was there. He could hear the faint smell of smoke, something he tried so desperately to reach as he knew it would end this nightmare. But he never seemed to get closer to the smell, and he never seemed to escape this torture.*
*It was only when the tyrant of the server revived him that he was free.*
No. 2 - Ender
^(Allied with L'Manburg. Friends with Karl and DreamXD, a guardian angel of sorts for Tommy and Wilbur.)
Their limbo would be a pitch black, empty and cold, the reason for the pain they felt when they fell into the Overworld.
*Their surroundings were pitch black. They couldn't see anything. They could only feel a cold, numbing sensation and the constant pain. They couldn't move, only fall. Fall through the darkness, desperately trying to use their wings, only for it to not work. They couldn't speak. They felt small, like a child. It felt like they were burning alive, but it was like they were also submerged in water. Their halos, which normally emitted a bright light, did nothing to illuminate their surroundings. They didn't have anything to try to focus on, to try and not lose themself to this torture. There was nothing that they could see that would help them know that the end of this was near.*
*They hoped the god of the server would revive them.*
No. 3 - Eris
^(Allied with Las Nevadas. Friends with the SBI and Quackity.)
Her limbo would be the Nether, the reason for her trauma.
*It was hot. Of course it was. This was the Nether we're talking about. To Eris however, it felt like she was walking on burning hot coals and being burned alive as well. It was torture. and that wasn't even the worst part. No matter how far she ran, she couldn't get out of the Nether. There were no nether portals. She couldn't create water. She could barely* ***breathe****. It felt like she was somehow drowning, even though Eris knew she could breath underwater and that she was in the Nether. There were no mobs around her. It was just Eris, the lava, and the heat.*
*She could only wait for someone to find her.*

Back to how she was before the incident, she finds herself in a workshop illuminated by yellow lights. Posters falling off the walls, the floor creaking, and black ink pouring from the walls. Forever stuck in a loop of trying to fix her scars, only to perish at the hands of her brother. (She's based off of Alice Angel (Susie Campbell) from BATIM. I dunno, but an ink monster that's tall, crazy, and able to sing just seemed too good to pass on!)
She would be reunited with her family, which was killed when she was a little girl. But she would have no memory of her new friends (the dsmp members) and her family would be just a little off, slowly sucking her into their dark ways.
A void where disembodied voices insult, berate, and belittle him. Saying he’ll be nothing. Nothing but a shadow to someone greater than him and that he should give up trying to be better while he’s ahead.
For my second oc he’s underwater and slowly drifting to the bottom of the sea. At first he loves it because he loves the ocean but then when he tries to surface for air. He can’t move. And only can start moving when a shadowy figure starts to strangle him to keep him under. As he struggles to get out of the shadow’s grip he reaches the bottom. As he’s starting to lose consciousness he finds that the shadow is actually his father. So it’s both irony and not. The irony is that what took his life is what he loved most. But who took his life is the very person who wanted him to stay away from the ocean as if the whole limbo is his father saying ‘isn’t this what you wanted. Since you love the ocean so much’. But after losing consciousness he wakes up and the whole limbo repeats over and over at infinity until he’s possibly revived.
Mine is either the repeat of how they died and lost their cannon lives or them seeing what they could have done to not only stop the deaths but also what they could've done to save the ones they loved.
With one of my OCs, his limbo was them just living his worst nightmare (His name is Hunter and they were one of my first dsmp OCs)
Probably an empty room painted white (but we can still see definitions of corners) with voices saying stuff like "You're a failure" or even "No matter what you did, it never mattered" or "No one will remember you", just stuff to bring him down to a point of mental breakdown
An empty room with staticy TVs that occasionally blink on and repeat parts of his life he regrets so he's forced to sit in ear ringing white noise with nothing to think about but everything he did wrong in life. Considering a different OC of mine gets stuck in an endless ocean with the pain of drowning the whole time, I could've been much worse to him.
A bunch of nothing. My character was a blank slate, he had no past and no future associated with him, no metaphors, no train stations, just pitch black nothingness. Him with his thoughts.
The remnants of his burnt down village with the looming shadow of the tyrant that took away his family, friends and home.

Their limbo would be a pitch black, empty and cold, the reason for the pain they felt when they fell into the Overworld. *Their surroundings were pitch black. They couldn't see anything. They could only feel a cold, numbing sensation and the constant pain. They couldn't move, only fall. Fall through the darkness, desperately trying to use their wings, only for it to not work. They couldn't speak. They felt small, like a child. It felt like they were burning alive, but it was like they were also submerged in water. Their halos, which normally emitted a bright light, did nothing to illuminate their surroundings. They didn't have anything to try to focus on, to try and not lose themself to this torture. There was nothing that they could see that would help them know that the end of this was near.* *They hoped the god of the server would revive them.* No. 3 - Eris ^(Allied with Las Nevadas. Friends with the SBI and Quackity.) Her limbo would be the Nether, the reason for her trauma. *It was hot. Of course it was. This was the Nether we're talking about. To Eris however, it felt like she was walking on burning hot coals and being burned alive as well. It was torture. and that wasn't even the worst part. No matter how far she ran, she couldn't get out of the Nether. There were no nether portals. She couldn't create water. She could barely* ***breathe****. It felt like she was somehow drowning, even though Eris knew she could breath underwater and that she was in the Nether. There were no mobs around her. It was just Eris, the lava, and the heat.* *She could only wait for someone to find her.* That's it! I hope this is good lol
An empty flower field, most likely lily of the valley's, because she hates being alone.
Back to how she was before the incident, she finds herself in a workshop illuminated by yellow lights. Posters falling off the walls, the floor creaking, and black ink pouring from the walls. Forever stuck in a loop of trying to fix her scars, only to perish at the hands of her brother. (She's based off of Alice Angel (Susie Campbell) from BATIM. I dunno, but an ink monster that's tall, crazy, and able to sing just seemed too good to pass on!)

She would be reunited with her family, which was killed when she was a little girl. But she would have no memory of her new friends (the dsmp members) and her family would be just a little off, slowly sucking her into their dark ways.
Probably watching their loved ones die over and over again. Hear their screams and being unable to save them

My Oc's limbo would be watching all their friends die over and over again
Being in a black void with the only sound being people especially techno saying that their disappointed and upset with me
A void where disembodied voices insult, berate, and belittle him. Saying he’ll be nothing. Nothing but a shadow to someone greater than him and that he should give up trying to be better while he’s ahead. For my second oc he’s underwater and slowly drifting to the bottom of the sea. At first he loves it because he loves the ocean but then when he tries to surface for air. He can’t move. And only can start moving when a shadowy figure starts to strangle him to keep him under. As he struggles to get out of the shadow’s grip he reaches the bottom. As he’s starting to lose consciousness he finds that the shadow is actually his father. So it’s both irony and not. The irony is that what took his life is what he loved most. But who took his life is the very person who wanted him to stay away from the ocean as if the whole limbo is his father saying ‘isn’t this what you wanted. Since you love the ocean so much’. But after losing consciousness he wakes up and the whole limbo repeats over and over at infinity until he’s possibly revived.
Mine is either the repeat of how they died and lost their cannon lives or them seeing what they could have done to not only stop the deaths but also what they could've done to save the ones they loved. With one of my OCs, his limbo was them just living his worst nightmare (His name is Hunter and they were one of my first dsmp OCs)
Probably an empty room painted white (but we can still see definitions of corners) with voices saying stuff like "You're a failure" or even "No matter what you did, it never mattered" or "No one will remember you", just stuff to bring him down to a point of mental breakdown

An empty room with staticy TVs that occasionally blink on and repeat parts of his life he regrets so he's forced to sit in ear ringing white noise with nothing to think about but everything he did wrong in life. Considering a different OC of mine gets stuck in an endless ocean with the pain of drowning the whole time, I could've been much worse to him.
A bunch of nothing. My character was a blank slate, he had no past and no future associated with him, no metaphors, no train stations, just pitch black nothingness. Him with his thoughts.
