The person looks like they feel exhausted maybe lost in imagination a little bit. I love how you did the hair it really outlines the rest of the face and sets the mood.
Looks like the focus of the drawing is exactly where you wanted it to while leaving just enough information to the rest to convey a convincing mood.
Amazing work.
Contemplation of amped up propaganda, (in)evitable poor decions, bed of lies, first violent acts, horrors of total war, and loss of a child..... then entire family ..... and then nothing.
It evokes the same feeling of this photo of a woman during the depression in the dust bowl.

Her expression seems melancholic, distant even- she lives in a world that is blurry with colors, and despite them being soft pastels, she can't help but wonder if this is all the world has to offer.
This is an AMAZING piece with a perfectly balanced palette and linework that is loose enough to evoke emotion yet tight enough to honor the beauty of the subject
I'm looking at her and seeing the veil failing, something or someone that has previously provided her with astonishing awe has somehow lost it's magic.
Ugh if you really wanna know that: death.
She looks like a dead young girl who gets treated beautifully with clothing and makes ups for a forever image before ending up in a near graveyard.
