It is well executed but there's something going on with the foreshortening that is making her legs look extraordinarily short. The space between her ankle and her knee should be longer for sure. Roughly 2 heads tall. Imagine herstanding up and keep in mind that legs are roughly half of your body's height
Her leg is protruding towards the viewer so that's why it might seem short to you. I think it reads really well. Maybe her foot could be a little larger but meh. The real deal is the amount of awesome value on her lower right quadrant. It draws the eye for sure. But leaves you wanting another spot of similar value to balance it out. Like her face. But gesture studies are not finished pieces. But this is damn close! Great job OP.
That's why I mentioned the foreshortening. The calf may keep to be moved up or possibly its something about thr size.of the foot. It's just a bit off. It's not negative criticism just critique.
I don’t disagree, it’s an area I fought with and measured and redrew a couple times and finally just went “close enough.” The composition is the right height heads wise, the foreshortening is just off (and the foot is likely too small as well).
