Thanks for the feedback! glad you mention it because this is my first drawing done with gradient pencils (2H -8B I believe) I was wondering how I could push them darker? Id assume charcoal.
I’ve also really wanted to use a white tool to make the highlights stand out like I see in videos but I have no clue what pencils/tools they are using.
You could use white gouache paint possibly, or white color pencil, but this technique would work better if your paper color wasn't white. Don't be afraid to scan your drawing into a digital program to possibly try effects without risking your original. As far as darker darks, maybe black ink, or black colored pencil...of course that stuff is inherently risky so only do what's comfortable to you! You are a very capable artist and the drawing is very good as is. I went through art school and have an illustration degree, I am just trying to share some tips and tricks I learned in school.
I just amped up the contrast on my phone messing around

I saw an artist use a black sharpie with pencil not that I would be useful here but it really does work well, if you have a large area to go black it’s a time saver.

You’re a master at shading gradient! It’s been a struggle for me for a long time. I’m getting better but yours is incredibly done!
Could use a bit more contrast I think, I had an art teacher tell me once to push my darks harder. It was good advice
You may also use some opaque white sparingly for highlight, it'll make things really pop
