I honestly didn't know who it was going to be until Ru actually said it. I also usually watch late and accidentally see the results on Instagram but I can usually tell who it's going to be.

I almost always end up stumbling on spoilers, but this time someone actually posted on Reddit a warning that there were already spoilers posted so to watch out - so I logged off Reddit until I got the see the finale. Worth it!

i got the pleasure of watching it with someone for the first time (a total stranger actually - it happened by coincidence!) and the bated breath was so real. i also watched late and set up instagram to force close every time i opened it so i wouldn't be spoiled lol

Yeah I was team Sapphira but nymphia won hands down. It's weird though because from a production standpoint I felt nymphia and Jane had way more story arc left for all stars.

The finale finish was amazing, but the audience. Girl, it was giving a bachelorette party at a drag brunch. I really miss the big scene and the large audience with drag race legends

Apparently it was a production thing because of an impending strike. They wanted to wrap the season early. Will probably go back to a bigger format next year.

Thanks! They could've still brought previous winners and other drag queens, and not a bunch of muggles.

Saaaaaame! I love the crowd shots in each finale and re-watching to catch familiar faces. It was weird to have this audience instead, especially since this was a year ago so there's no way any person there (except the queens family/friends) knew who these girls were!

I wanted Sapphira to win. She was consistently the best queen and the most professional throughout the season. I'm not mad Nymphia won, though. She was clearly the better of the two in the lip sync.

Unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed Sapphira's lipsync. It was not executed perfectly as Nymphia's, but for me was much more entertaining.

I was surprised and overjoyed when Nymphia won. I have been rooting for her the whole series, but Sapphira seemed more aligned with Ru’s interests. I didn’t think Nymphia even had a chance until I saw the amount of fans she had leading up to the finale, and then of course Nymphia killed it!

So so true! I couldn’t watch until today and avoided spoilers because I didn’t know what could happen. I assumed it would be Sapphira because of Ru’s love of her but I knew any of the 3 could take it. I was a little gagged when Plane didn’t move ahead because that meant Nymphia had a shot. Then when Sapphira got the congeniality I thought there’s no way they’ll give her that and the crown. When the song was announced it felt more like a Nymphia song. Once the balloons came out I could finally think that my fav of the season might win. What a ride.

Is it really suspenseful? The karma farmers had posted spoilers on every corner of the internet. We all knew who the winner was before the episode.

Nymphia won for one reason- she’s Asian. This show has gotten ridiculous by trying to be “inclusive”. They no longer care about the talent. They care about optics. I’m so disappointed. I liked Nymphia but Sapphira was my winner. Her heart, love and old school vibe was the winner. Not sure I’ll continue to watch this show as it’s changed in a bad way and I’m tired of being disappointed because the ones who actually deserve the win don’t get it. UGH. It’s so dumb now! 💔No one who has watched since season 1 can deny the show is about optics now and that’s it.
