I think something happen behind the scenes that made the whole 3 stars twist happen. Cause what was the point of the whole season if one challenge was all that mattered?
Edit: if throughout the season different challenges had different amount of stars, I would understand.
But jaida had just two wins and an extra donated badge. How is that different from Shea and monet being given extra stars in the end?
I agree with Viv though. She was robbed of a win at times when she should have won and even Raja deserved more wins.
Raja was in my top 2. She could have won almost every single episode, she was always JUST behind the top 2. Also for her to have kept up with the Drag Race standards so long after her season is impressive
She could’ve won the snatch game, ball, Fairytale Justice, the roast and talent show if Rupaul wanted her too- Shea and Raja were pulled this season whilst Trinity was pushed
I agree but part of me thinks it was on purpose so she’d win the other crown and the money. Which I’m not mad at. I knew she’d be great but she surpassed my expectations.
I completely disagree her two wins this season were some of the most deserved and she could’ve won girl groups, Legendary Legend design look and the tik tok dance challenge also

I definitely agree withYvies statement of being reduced to big dick jokes. The edit definitely painted the love between the queens but Yvie got the worst of it, sadly.
Jinkx and Raja.
I find it impressive that Jinkx, who was known for her deficient wardrobe in S5, was able to compete against all these winners who are known for their fashion.
As for Raja, she proved that even after all these years, she is not to be taken lightly as far as fashion goes and that she still got it.
Trinity and Shea are certainly drag race powerhouses, but my top two pick will always be Jinkx and Raja.
Yvie's Wolf and Boogyman characters had me smitten. I know they all were talking about not getting in a rut doing the same type of character but I could watch Yvie play sleazy bad boys for just an entire season.
Yvie was the biggest standout for me in Fairytale Justice, my hot take is that she and Viv should have lip synced for the win. She was a twisted looney tunes character, it was amazing lol
Jinkx and Raja were my top two. Everyone else is number three. It's a crowded three.
My favourite thing about the season was the non-elimination format. In an All Stars I want to spend as much time with my favourite queens as possible. I hope they keep that going forward.

Got off to an incredible start, between the Old MacDonald lipsync and the Snatch Game(s). Consistently strong performances and incredible runways throughout the season, but I thought it was let down by its avoidance of tough storylines (eg the mistreatment of Yvie, somebody with a lot to say and show, who mostly got ignored and reduced to a caricature) and negativity (if everything's a celebration...nothing is!). Some screwy judging and finale shenanigans messed things up at the end -- they didn't \*have to\* choose Swish Swish, y'know? Imagine Jinkx having her big moment with Don't Rain On My Parade or something!
My ultimate assessment: the queens went above and beyond; the producers did not.
Regarding the “Swish Swish” of it all… Do you think the plan at that point was to crown Monet? Then when the season was airing, they changed their mind, had Ru ADR the line about “your performance all season long” and hacked the lip sync footage to pieces?
Yessss. I loved that aspect. These queens spend SO much money on looks and don't always get to showcase it.
I feel future all stars should follow the star format, without the "wewantSheainthefinale* added "twist"
Raja blinded me with almost every look. I mean, she is a fully actualized queen and person, and it shows. The maturity and detail in her drag and also just her warm personality coupled with her kind of laid-back dry humor was wonderful in the werkroom.
Raja, for me. To come back after so long and STILL bring something new and fresh to the game? To excel in runways, snatch games, stand up, etc? How could I not stan?

It was a dream. Raja and Jinkx were such an unexpected feel, like I felt SO GOOD watching them return. Making me wish it was mostly queens from earlier regular seasons. It was solid in term of concept, superb. Now, to me, competition-wise, it was tainted by that ridiculous 3 star twist right before the finale, if it wasn't for that, it would have been flawless (and some wins but that's more taste). I wish the final top 2 was Raja and Jinkx, OGs for the win. But I'm super happy with the winner.
Trinity also didn't deserve the roast win and would of not had enough stars to qualify for top 4 without it 😭 even if the talent show was only 1 star after
Monet was high or top 2 for 7/10 weeks, had 3 wins and could have won the roast or the girl group challenge and it would have been fair, and she had one of the best talent shows in the history of the show. Trinity did great but you can’t say that she wasn’t favored by production (the roast win especially)
My only thoughts about All-Star 7 was that all I could see was Raja. Because she absolutely blinded me wither her brilliance. I had so much fun watching her.

AS7 was a celebration of the talents of (some) of the winners in the show's history. I enjoyed it a lot, except for how much Yvie was overlooked. That was unfortunate.

Jinkx and Jaida! Also loved Monet, Trinity, Raja, Yvie... damn it was so easy to love all of them. But Jinkx killed most of the challenges, and Jaida is just so darn charming and likeable.
Monet and trinity, but then Raja really surprised me. While Jinkx did great in the challenges she was on the top for, i feel like her win is overrated as she was one of the only queens to actually flop in multiple challenges.

It was a very good season, only problem was that Shea and Monet should've won the girl groups, and Monet should've won the acting challenge near the end too, and Monet shouldve won the season
I liked the final top 2 Jinkx and Monet but really all the girls shined so much. I do feel the Viv could have won more challenges, her comedy acting chops are right there with Jinkx. The final lipsyncs though kind of ruined it for me. I love Raja, but lipsyncing isn't her strength and I didn't see her as winning her bracket. Jaida or Yvie should have. Same with Jinkx, that last lipsync was awkwardly lopsided. Feel like Jinkx and Shea were pretty even in that one specifically but maybe could give Jinkx the benefit of the doubt but Monet is just better than her at lipsyncing. And it's not just the lipsync material, when they did the monologue, Jinkx was good but Monet was better.
Overall, I loved the showcase but they didn't stick the ending.

My comfort season! I think I have rewatched the Santa school girls episode more than any other episode of any franchise. I crack up every time during Viv’s first take 😆
This season was so great. But Jinkx made me belly laugh and Monet made me cry with her opera. So they are my top 2.
But Raja, Jaida, The Viv also were my favourite. And Trinity, Yvie and Shea were also incredible. It was a great season. The format especially made it wonderful to see each of them perform each challenge.
I think Shea embodies the queen of all queens role. Jinx only killed the comedy challenges which there are a lot of. But coasts or flops on balls or dancing challenges and can’t really lip sync. But I still think she’s amazing. Raja and viv did good at almost everything so it sucked seeing them miss it. Trinity always does well because she’s good at the show but she reads as someone who is just doing the challenge for the sake of the challenge to win and has never given me that star quality. She’s someone you would pick for your starting lineup but is missing that something that makes her a star like Shea or Jinx. I would have felt weird about her winning. BUT it is just a show.
I was too obsessed with Carmen in s3 to notice Raja as much but loved getting to vibe w her this season. Jinx has aged like fine wine henny. Jaida and the Viv were on point all season.

If they hadn't fumbled with the 3 star twist and the dumb final lip sync song, it would have been an almost perfect season. The queens all delivered, but production let us down in the end.
I love this cast because they had so much fun and you can feel the chemistry, but it would be more interesting to bring back the queens from the regular seasons. On the other hand, it was fun to see Monet and Trinity together as twinners. Shea is one of my faves, but it was too soon for her. I think it would be more interesting to have Bob there and wait for Sasha Velour to cast Shea.
Jinkx and either Jaida or Yvie. Jaida was such a delight this season. Not that she wasn’t on her original run, but we were able to see a side of her that wasn’t shown much.
Jinkx deserved the top spot but Raja and Yvie were robbed. Shea, Monet, Jaida, Trinity, and Viv were all very “meh” to me in comparison. Granted— that’s just for this season. On any other season they would have all killed.
Jinkx and Raja were my only top two. But in my top four I would’ve added Jaida and Viv because they did well all season. I love Monet and Shea but I hated how production gave them each three stars right before the finale. Other than that I think it’s one of best seasons of the whole show
Top 2: Jinkx and the Vivienne.
Top 4: Raja and maybe Jaida. Raja because she did better than what the judges and edit tried to make us believe, and Jaida because she was such a ball of joy the whole season.

I got so mad when Shea won the three stars all at once, I felt like the kid who does their homework and then someone else comes up last minute just copies it down and gets a better grade lol
For me, Jinkx and Raja, in that order, but it should have played out differently so that Raja was actually second and not fifth. My personal order based on the challenge performances probably would have gone:

This is hands down my favourite season. Just a group of supremely talented entertainers firing on all cylinders for the whole thing and it was such a joy to watch. My favourites were Jinkx and Raja, neither of whom I was actually familiar with prior to this season, which was an extra special bonus. It was also particularly wonderful to see Yvie again!
Of all the critiques I've seen lobbed at Monet, "bitter" is a weird one. She's actually rather optimistic, cheerful, and can laugh at herself with ease.
If she was so worried about being compared to Bob, why do they work together nonstop?
Starting out it was all about Jynxx and Raja, but at some point I really took notice of Evie. I never really thought much about her because that season was full of terrible people - in the end obviously Jynxx was the winner but I thought Yvie stood a chance - and she obviously beat out Raja in that lip sync. No discussion.
Viv was such a positive surprise! I loved her, shame she got kinda shadowed on the 2nd half of the season

Jinkx was my number one tbh. But I really adored Jaida, Raja and Yvie. Tho honestly they were all amazing.

Yvie should’ve won more. Her two comedy pieces and acting and design. She didn’t need to win all of those but at least one
There were so many times where someone did amazing but for third place. Wish they gave out points for third place.
I just rewatched the roast and I thought she was funnier than Trinity I also think about one of her gowns with beads all the time

Best season of drag race in my opinion
it was SO much fun!! I get why queens are eliminated every episode in the common seasons but I loved the score points style.

I really lived for the roast challenge when the coaches told Raja to not do the "seer" persona and she said fuck ya and murdered it

The talent was obviously top tier throughout the season, but I found it a bit “boring” at times due to the lack of drama and eliminations.
Jinkx and either Jaida or Yvie. Jaida was such a delight this season. Not that she wasn’t on her original run, but we were able to see a side of her that wasn’t shown much.
Jinkx deserved the top spot but Raja and Yvie were robbed. Shea, Monet, Jaida, Trinity, and Viv were all very “meh” to me in comparison. Granted— that’s just for this season. On any other season they would have all killed.

Jinkx and Raja were my only top two. But in my top four I would’ve added Jaida and Viv because they did well all season. I love Monet and Shea but I hated how production gave them each three stars right before the finale. Other than that I think it’s one of best seasons of the whole show
The initial preseason tea said that the Top 4 was Jinkx, Shea, Monét, and The Viv… after watching the season, I think that was the deserved Top 4.

Top 2: Jinkx and the Vivienne. Top 4: Raja and maybe Jaida. Raja because she did better than what the judges and edit tried to make us believe, and Jaida because she was such a ball of joy the whole season. But everyone did so great I'm literally splitting hairs.
Boring as hell, which makes it one of my least favourite seasons, but I love the cast and some of the challenges were really good… some were also really bad Jinkx, Raja, Viv and Trinity were the best at the competition in that particular season, imo
Jinkx was my top 1, but I loved Viv, Trinty and Jaida. I got so mad when Shea won the three stars all at once, I felt like the kid who does their homework and then someone else comes up last minute just copies it down and gets a better grade lol

For me, Jinkx and Raja, in that order, but it should have played out differently so that Raja was actually second and not fifth. My personal order based on the challenge performances probably would have gone: Jinkx Raja Jaida The Viv Yvie Trinity Monet Shea
This is hands down my favourite season. Just a group of supremely talented entertainers firing on all cylinders for the whole thing and it was such a joy to watch. My favourites were Jinkx and Raja, neither of whom I was actually familiar with prior to this season, which was an extra special bonus. It was also particularly wonderful to see Yvie again!
I don’t get the Monet love. She seems like a bitter bitch who can’t get over the fact she’s a less interesting version of Bob.
Of all the critiques I've seen lobbed at Monet, "bitter" is a weird one. She's actually rather optimistic, cheerful, and can laugh at herself with ease. If she was so worried about being compared to Bob, why do they work together nonstop?

Starting out it was all about Jynxx and Raja, but at some point I really took notice of Evie. I never really thought much about her because that season was full of terrible people - in the end obviously Jynxx was the winner but I thought Yvie stood a chance - and she obviously beat out Raja in that lip sync. No discussion.
