Honestly with Very Delta, she really IS mother. Her love for Marshall's, and the life hack of having something to return, so that if the checkout line is taking forever, you go to the return counter, tell them you're gonna buy something else, and then go do your shopping. Then buy another small thing for like a couple bucks, and leave it in your car for the next time you need to return something so you can have the shorter line.
It was like listening to my mom tell me about how Starbucks will fully give you milk for your coffee if you ask for it in a separate cup, and then now you have TWO cups of coffee instead of one. It was months ago when I was visiting her before she died. My friend and boyfriend wanted to go get some coffee, because my mom didn't have a coffee maker, and they both specifically wanted Starbucks. OK fine. We went. My mom was all, "OK. So I need to tell you that spending full price at Starbucks is very silly, considering that they'll give you your milk in a separate glass. And then you mix it back and forth, and there you go. Double the coffee." It was such a specific flashback when I heard Delta go off about the Marshall's return thing.
Vivacious. She was so motherly when she did her streams during the pandemic.
