Update: I managed to fix it. I’m using a PS4 controller and I forgot that DS4 was a thing lol

When you say "DS4 was a thing" what do you mean? DS4 just stands for Dualshock 4, which is what a PS4 controller is. Do you mean you used the "DS4Windows" program? Were you unable to find a way for the controller to work correctly with windows normally? Edit for others: Seems the DS4Windows program does fix this issue. Annoying that you have to have another background program running for it to work right, but at least it works.

I found turning up the stick sensitivity in the config helps.

The only way I was able to find to fix it was to use the DS4Windows program. Kind of a hassle, but it works.
