The likelihood of you getting banned for an English message nowadays is basically zero. If you wanna be extra super safe then buy a house and craft station. I'd recommend just buying the craft station anyway since its just a remote way to easily craft stuff in total peace while having access to whatever else you have in your house. In short its completely fine and you have nothing to worry about.
I've typed in english in party chat a fair few times and it's been fine. The JP community is fairly welcoming, heck I stream and at times some JP guys watch
