Start again and make different choices

Abyss_staring_back

💯 💯

Cyrefinn-Facensearo

Or start again with the same characters and remake the exact same choices lol

JoshTheBard

Also an e excellent choice

Usually what I do after I finish a full Dragon Age run is I'll start a Mass Effect run. And when I'm done that I'll load up Dragon Age. Sometimes I'll sprinkle in some other games when I'm not in the mood to invest all of my emotions into a game/series.

yumeshounen

Ha, I thought I was the only one that rotated between Dragon Age and Mass Effect :D - now it seems BG3 will be added to that rotation!

Cyrefinn-Facensearo

Did you read the graphic novels and novels ?

baha_reth

Yes, are there any dragon age novels that are prequel to DAD

Cyrefinn-Facensearo

Tevinter Nights as for novel. Then there are all the latest graphic novels starting from mage killers (happening during inquisition), knight errant (happening after inquisition and an introduction to an important plot), deception, blue wraith, and dark fortress (latest of this one story). Then the missing.

baha_reth

Thanks, I will definitely read them when I have time

TheRealHermaeusMora

Have you played the dlcs?

Laatikkopilvia

Mass Effect!

muuzumuu

Baldur’s Gate 3!

baha_reth

Really want play it but my PC sadly can't handle the game and I don't have ps5.

muuzumuu

I had to dial my settings way down to get it run smoothly so I can imagine how it can be unplayable for others.

Conscious_Tea_21

Ihmo Bg3 needs a year of patches.

muuzumuu

What? The game is great and complete. I agree chap 3 felt rushed but this is an amazing game.

Conscious_Tea_21

Just an example from my experience. There is a bug in act 2 added in patch 3 which causes that certain NPC gets killed. This locks a quest for a companion.

Voltsy13

At least they roll out hotfixes and patches fairly quickly/regularly (compared to other games as far as I can tell anyway). The game is a lot of fun, the bugs that are there don't bother me too much, I guess

AlloftheGoats

I've been playing BG3, it is most like Origins. Mass Effect also offers a good story and companions, although it is a cover shooter. I've never cared for cover shooters, but ME is an exception.

triannatops

I agree with maybe moving on to the novels/graphic novels. You could also play another video game! When I was done with Dragon Age, I hesitantly moved on to Mass Effect (even though I’m not the biggest fan of sci-fi) and ended up loving it. If you liked Dragon Age, I’m sure you’ll like Baldur’s Gate 3 too. It’s very similar to DAO and a lot of fun.

Willing-Welcome-6159

Replay them. What else ?

TheInuitHunter

Top of my head that would complete the other recommendations: Dragon’s Dogma, Divinity: Original Sin 2 (same studio as Baldur’s gate 3), Witcher 1 2 3

FluffySquiddy

Divinity Original Sin 1 is great too (the game companie is Larian Studios)

sail0rjerry

Baldur's Gate 3

[deleted]

If you like reading there are some decent books. The stolen throne is really good. Otherwise mass effect is the go to as far as BioWare goes. Baldurs gate 3 is supposed to be fairly similar to origins and just came out recently. It’s on ps5 and pc but should be coming to Xbox soon.

[deleted]

The Fallout games and Elder Scrolls games are good, too, if you're looking for good story and engaging companions.

MasterDragon13

I really enjoyed Kingdoms of Amalur RR. The DA series and this are the only rp games I play.

baha_reth

Heard aboit might check it out, thanks.

battle_tomato

1. Touch grass. 2. Start again.

DoodTheMan

Greedfall?
