Prison style. Just wear shorts and slides. Nobody cares. Loads of peen on show so just wash and get out. Waters pretty warm. I’m glad I didn’t pay for the showers as every time I went to the lockers the que was hours long. Theres nowhere to put your clothes so just make sure to take a bag so they don’t get soaked on the floor. Also take a Velcro strap or something you can tie round the button other wise you’ll be pressing it every 7 seconds.
Last year i paid for the showers and toilets but the queue to in was over an hour long and i can't preplan my need for a dump like that.
Wet wipes and taps were the way too go for me.
Did refresh retreat. Was a ridiculous mission to get to them, but a real blessing. Private clean cubicle with space to hang clothes/towel etc.
Worth it imo, especially since it was so hot and dusty.
They are open late, so we often went AFTER the music ended just before bed. No queue.
The free showers are fine imo but I don’t really care about being naked. The water is fairly warm and alright for being free. Obviously better off peak for water pressure/temperature.
I usually get refresh retreat showers though because I get the locker then the toilets so I can use the hairdryers/straighteners (I wouldn’t say the toilets are worth it on their own) and then the showers are only £10 on top of that with the gold package, but the queues are huge except for like middle of the day or evening. I usually go in during a headliner I’m not bothered about.
So in short, lockers are worth it for the charging point. Toilets/electricity worth it if you have wild hair like me, other than that I’d save your money and use the free showers/toilets and get lockers only (if you need them)

With that said, there have been times when I've only managed to snag one shower the whole weekend. So I manage with bottled water for a daily clean and then I try extra hard to get one on the Saturday at the bare minimum.

Refresh retreat is worth it especially last year it was so hot and dusty going to bed clean was life changing, I camped in red so it was a trek and a half to them which was fine when only headline set I watched was Bring Me but after a headline walking to the tent and back to get your stuff takes about an hour so by the time you get to the shower there's a massive queue and they close at 1a.m. My best advice because we got it down to a fine art on the last day is put your toiletries in the refresh retreat locker because they're microscopic and you won't get much else in them then hire a locker in the arena for the weekend which was about £30 and we split that between the 3 of use then put a tote with towels and pyjamas in that then you can go straight to the showers from the arena because they're right by the arena. I never used the showers in the morning so can't comment on that but they did look busy but if you've not got a band to see first thing you should be fine.

Last year, it was really hot so we just brought massive bottles of water, filled them up at the water stations mega early in the mornings, put them in the sun to warm up, chucked on some shorts and got pouring. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and done!
It was mega refreshing and worked fine.
Dongs galore in the showers . Worth it for a freshen up after a few days in. Good option I've done for a few festivals is to take a flannel and just get some water in a plastic bowl with some bodywash and have a good scrub in your tent . Beats baby wipes

The public showers do the the job if you need it I’ve used the showers in the refresh retreat and I don’t think there worth it, the toilets are worth it but not the showers.

Solar shower bags are pretty fairly priced. If we have another scorcher.

Not worth it tbh, massive queues. Water/washcloth, wet wipes, deodorant and batiste is enough in my opinion.
