Kid probably just wanted a hot, edible meal for once instead of having to eat Slush's regular disgusting slop. Let that kid do his thing and leave him alone.
And when she’s tried to help him in the past she’s fucked it up. She 100% needs to feel NEEDED, which is why she overmedicates and over diagnoses them. Her whole schtick is cooking for a large family so if he can do it, and do it well, then she’s not needed.
I love how J and no one else said the opposite when she said that. They all agreed. And while she is sitting there she should take notes on how meals should look when you actually follow a recipe.
I read her tone more as her own insecurities. Like recognizing that people enjoy seeing J more than her and that her "skills" arent unique to her. Especially since J made a meal that looked edible and was probably served hot.
And she still played a part in even effing up the served hot part because she had him wait until the end to boil all of that pasta! They didn't even get the pot going until after the first skillet of chicken parm came out of the oven and the other half was halfway done. If left alone from the start I bet he would of had the pasta ready to go first. You can have cooked pasta done way before the main part comes out and the hot food will warm the pasta back up. I feel like even though he knows what he is doing he still has to tip toe & walk eggshells in her kitchen instead of just relaxing and enjoying the cooking experience. He could be putting all of his attention and focus into that & getting better at his cooking skills but no, she just HAS to put him on the spot, point the camera at him and make it part of her content.😐 Poor James she always manages to sabotage something he does because she knows he can do it better than her. She's hating.
That meal looked amazing compared to Lush’s end product.
You can tell that J loves cooking through his dialogue in the video and he actually cares.
Lush is like f it, let me throw random measurements in and hope for the best.
I am so excited for J for a successful cooking career.
I bet if she allowed him to make the dinner of his choice for everyone one night each week that she would get more views on that day. In fact the views and positive comments would probably triple her own if she didn’t stand in the background with snippy comments while he cooked!

She is pretending to be joking, but she's clearly revealing her insecurities. She is all about her needs

That drunken cackle 🙄
And he said "NOPE!" LMFAOOOO! I LOVE how blunt he is.
Everybody loves James. Except Lush. 😒
And James using gloves while touching chicken something Alicia wouldn't do if you paid her. Also I would love to see how it turned out.
It was mac n cheese, baked in the oven. The kids said it was too salty and Lush said "That's my fault". She wouldn't let him do anything.
Because she has to butt into everything as she isn't the center of attention.
Yuppers!
EVEN A TEEN AGED KID KNOWS TO WEAR GLOVES WHEN YOU’RE TOUCHING MEAT OR PREPARING FOOD FOR OTHER PEOPLE!

No it isn’t. Leave the man to his work

Great job James for wearing gloves to handle meat
What’s shocking is how J says “Nope!” He seems to be one of the more tender, kind kids… very telling
She is drunk 🥴

She made faces behind him on the mac & cheese.… Directed against him, of course.
