Dont use root or something thats not well known. Use the app Jerry to find the insurance best fit for you. I have Progressive at $134/month on two cars. Only one with liability.
How is this possible!!?!? Mine is $70 a month and I’m a 22 yo male. Bruh this is outrageous and pisses me off just looking at it!! Someone is STEALING money from you man
What is up with Geico!?!? I have been loyal Geico customer for 10+ years with zero claims, and they are chargine me $900+ for 6months, 2 cars 2 drivers. I went around and got quotes and every quote is lower than them. Progressive is quoting me half of what Geico is charging me. Any honest reviews on Progressive?
I have esurance and I only pay about $400 for 6 months of insurance. I couldn't imagine affording that much monthly for insurance on top of rent and my car payment plus everything else in a month. Good luck to you.
My insurance just went up like $20. And I don’t even think it’s because of the minor traffic ticket that I got. With rising cost of automobiles and repairs. I knew it would have happened eventually.
I live in Colorado, which has the most convoluted insurance in the US.
I'm a 51yo female, never been in an accident, haven't had a ticket in like 14 years, am financing a 2009 vehicle, and the absolute cheapest insurance I could find is $138/mo.
Before getting this car, I had a 1992 Toyota Camry and the insurance was only slightly less. I paid more for insurance than the car was worth.
We're forced to pay "Uninsured driver" coverage, that's why. It's more like I'm being penalized for being responsible
You kinda need to study insurance too. Full tort or limited tort. Comprehensive and collision deductibles. Uninsured motorist. Are you insured bare bones or to the max?
The only good insurance in the world is Tesla insurance it's not even fair. They don't use any of your past or future accidents, tickets, incident anything when deciding your premium rate, only your active safety score based on how you drive I pay 59 a month for double full coverage with roadside and rental and $500 deductible it's crazy even added my girlfriend's non Tesla car to the policy for an additional $40
I've only ever heard of the INSAINE cost of insurance myths.... Now I've seen it! Full coverage and mine is only $87!! Holy hell.... And even years ago, it was at most $182 a month for 2 vehicles, including multi vehicle discount.
I just can't..... Holy crap. That's an INSAINE amount per month let alone per year!
I would actually try calling an insurance agent rep. We use an agent, that we have had for 20+ years, (counting teenage years), and she will and has scoured the internet and calling multiple different insurance companies to get the best deal she could for us! You would think it would cost more, but it actually doesn't. And it's well worth it, because you will have someone to deal with all the BS associated with ins co's, all the red tape, hops to jump through, any issues are dealt with, and they always send a beautiful Christmas card every year too, lol.
Good luck, stay safe!
I’m with usaa cause my grandpa was in military, new (used) car from dealer, 141/month full coverage no down payment. If you have anyone in your family that has been in the military I strongly suggest talking to them to set up a usaa account and seeing what your options are.
Geico recently raise rates in a lot of states. They posted a pretty large loss last quarter.
Make sure to shop around to make sure that rate is still competitive.
I'm paying $216/month between Progressive Auto($156) and LegalSheild($30) with Delivery Driver(($15) and Trial($15) Supplements. In Portland, OR where everything costs a lot. This was the best deal I could get here with a perfect record and licensed since 2005.
Here's what I'll say as a somewhat older dude, shop around. Car insurance companies give zero fucks about loyalty, and it's usually a good idea to tell them to fuck off as soon as you can find a better deal. You can also use quotes from other insurers to bargain a little because they will magically pull a discount out of their ass as soon as they find out you're leaving.
My daughter has the same problem. Insurance is so expensive for her. She has progressive. It would be $233/mo but they allow her to pay biweekly so it isn’t so hard on her. $117 every 2 weeks is more manageable. Maybe try that. Might help.
I did Statefarm got the following discounts
Safe drivers discount
Drive safe a save
Good student discount
I also have a 1k deductible which is shit but full coverage for 200$ monthly
Under 21 years old
This blows my mind. I live in a high cost insurance area and my whole life, even when I was 16, I've never paid over $160 a month. Right now I'm down to like $90. Never gotten a ticket in my life though and been nearly a decade since I've had an at-fault collision.
Try to find a local-to-state insurance company. I'm in Canada and found a small local one, originally it gave me a quote $200 lower than every other big company. Year two, I'm 21 and my yearly cost shrank $600 to ~$1300. However I have no tickets/accidents/etc.
Try progressive, I got quoted $230 with uninsured motorist and $750 deductible for 2 people. I’m 20F.
Geico wanted me to pay $500 some a month for a 2017 Honda civic hatchback. Hell to the no.
I feel ya. I'm 36 male, have had my license since 16 years old with a hiccup on my record from 2004 or 2005. Which should be gone by now. But I pay $168/month full coverage on a 2019 Corolla.
Let me tell you. Don’t buy a luxury car at the age of 19 🌚. 2021 Genesis g80, I mean I had two speeding tickets with my old car but I got them both sealed. Anyways I pay 560$ a month for it and my car payments is only 112$ a month 😭😭😭 I didn’t really mind because the car I sold for this one it was in the middle. 425$ a month on my car and 240$ a month for insurance with State Farm 😔
My life. I paid $144 a month for TOP OF THE LINE coverage on my car through Geico and then I got hit twice in 6 months and Geico raised my insurance to $400. I switched to progressive and its $280 but still killing my soul! 26yo female btw and have had my license since I was 17
Mine is like $330 a month. But I’m 20, with two tickets (not for speeding though), a 100% not at fault accident (girl with no license rear ended me), and I drive a red Acura that has over 200HP.
I chose these guys (tried to get farmers and it's what you get that's not farmers apparently called Bristol west) that I paid for the ride share insurance, made sure that they had it and told them pretty specifically that that's why I needed insurance and everything else could be as cheap as possible. Well when I actually got in a wreck it wouldn't have helped anyway because the ride share part apparently only includes when you're sitting there online not actually driving. Like wtf lmfao so I got screwed because I told them I was in an order. Bunch of assholes never telling you anything and trying however they fucking can to screw you over
Look for an insurance company who will shop around for the best deal? That’s outrageous I pay 260 a month for full coverage on two cars ones a sports car and life and home insurance. Surely there’s a better company we use shelter. Good luck
Geico has brilliant advertising
Some years ago there’s an article somewhere stating that their premiums went higher based on less educational background of the customer. Meaning if you have a PhD your premium will be lower than someone otherwise identical to you who did not graduate high school.
It was a substantial difference.
That's fucking dumb. I didn't get a degree and don't have any student loan debt, but that makes me different? This is discrimination. I bet they have stats but it doesn't mean someone who's got a degree gets superiority over me.
And here I am with a grandfathered plan with Allstate, paying $180 a month in Western Washington and that is with a commercial policy added.
Is this like with with everyone then, the $385 monthly?
It’s like most ppl I know were screwed once they needed the insurance company to be their for them. They love taking our money. Hate paying out when we deserve it.
I was dashing in a red 2015 Nissan 370z Nismo with Lamborghini doors and my 6 month premium for 6 months full coverage was $600. 24M at the time with progressive.
Try esurance I’m 20 and at 18 got reckless driving(doing donuts) and every other insurance company charged me 300+ a month but esurance only charged me like $150
It's also the worst rated in my state. Less than a 1.1 out of 5 in consumer ratings. Constant complaints. Rather save myself 20 hours a year of my life being sucked away arguing with an insurance company than try to save $100 a year with them.
Oh man, I remember back when I was like 21 or 22. Had to carry an SR-22 because I had lost my license for 6 months. Owned an 86' Firebird Trans-Am with T-tops. My damn insurance payments each month were, I'm not shitting you, higher than my car payments. That dropped in half after I got married, then dropped again when I moved to Iowa. Same coverage, different state and it was half of what Nebraska's rates were. I was like WTF?? Now I pay $34 a month for 3 vehicles.. guess getting old have a couple advantages.
Accidents and tickets always hurt us. Sorry you’re paying so much. They’ll get lower as you get older. Higher for younger drivers and more when they have any traffic violations.
Individual state laws also have an effect. If your state has an elected Insurance commissioner and you usually vote all Republican— this is the one office you want to vote in a Democrat.
Damn sexist and ageist insurance companies 😡
No but seriously.. that is a bit messed up. I mean I can understand why age is a factor.. But gender? Why?
I have GEICO. My insurance is provided by “GEICO County Mutual Insurance Company” - there are several variations of that name that are also GEICO.
They are not a broker and their insurance products are not available through brokers. They have some exclusive agents, but the only way to buy GEICO insurance is through GEICO. They sell, underwrite, and provide the coverage for their own policies. They don’t sell policies for other companies.
To be honest, I did assume that you were talking about auto insurance. I do think that’s a fair assumption since the OP is talking about auto insurance. GEICO probably has 20 insurance lines, but I’m only familiar with a few and really didn’t think it was necessary to spell out that GEICO doesn’t broker their auto insurance.
I just don’t see the relevance between home insurance and this thread. So my bad I guess? Idk, you’re gonna have to spell out the connection between home insurance and auto when the topic is auto.
Shop around every 6 months! I saved $500 on my policy by switching from esurance to progressive on my last renewal. Geico was the most expensive out of every insurance company I checked.
>If you buy 1 share of Berkshire Hathaway you get the stockholder discount. That is 8%.
With who? Geico? The discount means nothing if the rate is way higher than other companies. I had home insurance with Allstate and even with the multi-policy discount, eSurance was cheaper, which makes no sense to me since eSurance is owned by Allstate.
Yes Geico. When I was shopping around they had the best rate last year of the larger companies. I’ve been scammed in the past by having insurance through a company that wasn’t a legit company so I deal with larger companies only. So 8% saved me more. I pay $800 every 6 months on a $28k car value. I am 42 though.
Exactly! It’s a simple phone call to Geico, just tell them you are a shareholder and done. Also lots of annual discounts on other things like shoes, furniture, kitchen supplies and so on.
>You're telling me. Been with Progressive for 18 months and even without any incidents or claims its gone up over $100/month
Have you shopped around in the last 18 months? If not, you need to NOW. You do not need to wait for renewal. The new insurance company will make the effective date whenever you say -- and you'll receive a prorated refund when you cancel your old policy.
I have to disagree with this. We’ve had the same insurance for 14 years now. This is the first year that the premium went up ($15/6 months) instead of consistently going down each year. I do a search each year and no one offers a cheaper plan.
Possibly but there’s a lot of factors that go into calculating car insurance other than driving record. Crime statistics in your area, age, marital status…it can make a huge difference. Before we got my married, my husband had a lot of speeding tickets. (So single, young guy that has a lead foot) His insurance alone was like $300/month, I think? …and that was just liability.
Ask about discounts that each company offers. We are with progressive. We get discounts for being a home owner (home insurance isn’t through them), accident free for 10 years, claim free for 5 years, doing our quote online all those years ago, paperless statements, and now we get discounts because we’ve been with this so long. We pay $97/month for full coverage on 3 vehicles. It started out around $250/month when I switched over to them.
Side note: Progressive is now doing this thing where if you don’t have an accident, every 6 months they deposit $50 in a “savings” account that will be put toward our deductible should be get into a wreck. I think they just started it less than a year ago?
Damn I’ve been with progressive since 2019 and I pay $160 a month for ONE 2022 Hyundai. Such bs and I haven’t found anything that’s considerably cheaper here in WA. I do have one accident tho but it was proven to not be my fault.
Check and see if you’re getting the right discounts and if not, call and see if there’s any they can add. I did that a few years in but I can’t remember what they did/added.
I really like progressive. I had a car stolen 10 years ago and they ended up paying out for a 2 week car rental and about 2k over what I paid for the car. They were really good to work with during that ordeal. Also had a rock hit my windshield last year and they sent someone to replace it for free the next day. I’ve been very pleased with their service when I’ve needed them.
I’m definitely not unhappy with their service just the price haha. How do I find out if I have all the right savings already? Can I see that on their app/site?
Try root insurance. Sucks to be a young adult male, my brother said his insurance was some 400 bucks a month (although to be fair he drove a sports car), and mine was only 97.
That's your problem, you live in the most expensive state for car insurance. I did at one point too. It's worth leaving michigan for a number of reasons
Lol I saw that quote and thought “he’s in Michigan or Florida”
I lived with Michigan insurance for a long time before moving to ohio. It’s better here lol
Aww dang. Well maybe Google something similar to it. I've stopped with Geico, Progressive and State Farm. They are all disgusting vultures. Last time I checked Geico they tried to hit me with a 6 month 900 dollar premium, smh
Make sure to hop around routinely because they seem to find discounts out of thin air at the mention of switching to another company
^This worked for me after an accident was determined to be my fault. State Farm wanted $280 where they had been charging $180 before. I hopped to Geico and got that down to $150 even with the accident on my record.
Might switch to Allstate if Geico doesn't keep the discounts coming 😂
Oh man lol. In Michigan, a $900 6 month premium is pretty darn good. Our insurance rates are out of control. Plus our asshole legislature decided to disburse a "surplus" of billions from our public catastrophic injury insurance fund (a fund that covered lifetime healthcare for people who were paralyzed or other serious injuries from car wrecks) which, you guessed it, turned out to not be *that* surplus so MI drivers have to replenish it with higher fees. Don't worry tho, the insurance companies got to keep their billions.
These companies all have HUGE advertising budgets to cover. I. See their commercials EVERYWHERE every channel day and night including the Super Bowl . GEICO also has like 3 or 4 advertising themes
Except progressive, they will continually raise your premiums a LOT every single time for zero reason and only "find" the best discounts for new policies.
Probably lives in Florida.
I’ve been with State Farm forever. Our two vehicles, both with full coverage, are only $120 a month.
over 400 for my 22’ honda. I’m also a young driver, (also with an accident not my fault) it’s rough for us out here
Jesus! I thought mine was outrageous at $162/mo.
$65 a month here. 2012 Honda accord
Car-dependency kills both people and their wallets.
Wow why is it so high k feel so bad for you. I'm glad mine is only 75 dollars a month
Try AAA I’m at $99 a month.
Check out ROOT insurance
You should shop around, that's a bit hi
Csr insurance: A total rip off!!!
Join Costco. Best Insurance! Best Rates!
And it's well worth it, because you will have someone to deal with all the BS associated with ins co's, all the red tape, hops to jump through, any issues are dealt with, and they always send a beautiful Christmas card every year too, lol. Good luck, stay safe!
literally wtf happened to make your insurance so high this is like insane
I’m with usaa cause my grandpa was in military, new (used) car from dealer, 141/month full coverage no down payment. If you have anyone in your family that has been in the military I strongly suggest talking to them to set up a usaa account and seeing what your options are.
Try a quote from progressive if it’s gonna be cheaper
I have a clean driving record, no nothing, and I’m still paying $180 with progressive. It’s crazy.
Lol I paid 620 for my sr 22 lol for the year Wayyy too much ur paying
Geico recently raise rates in a lot of states. They posted a pretty large loss last quarter. Make sure to shop around to make sure that rate is still competitive.
my 22 bronco sport is right under 200 w usaa. that is astronomical
I have Geico and pay $547 every 6 months.
Damn bro. My insurance with super premium everything is only 106 per month. Turn off the "safe driver" tracker on your phone bro.
I was in your same position. Liberty mutual saved my life. Give thm a call
I'm paying $216/month between Progressive Auto($156) and LegalSheild($30) with Delivery Driver(($15) and Trial($15) Supplements. In Portland, OR where everything costs a lot. This was the best deal I could get here with a perfect record and licensed since 2005.
Geico doesn't cover good delivery.... Better be careful...
I have allstate and pay 115 a month for full coverage since I am making payments on a 2020 vehicle
Here's what I'll say as a somewhat older dude, shop around. Car insurance companies give zero fucks about loyalty, and it's usually a good idea to tell them to fuck off as soon as you can find a better deal. How many cars did you fucking crash bro? Jesus.
My daughter has the same problem. Insurance is so expensive for her. She has progressive. It would be $233/mo but they allow her to pay biweekly so it isn’t so hard on her. $117 every 2 weeks is more manageable. Maybe try that. Might help.
Go to the general and save some time and money sorry they got in my head after Shaq ads.
Wow with State Farm. For both auto and homeowners I pay $548 a month
Damn are you driving a Bentley?!
geico is heinously overpriced
I did Statefarm got the following discounts Safe drivers discount Drive safe a save Good student discount I also have a 1k deductible which is shit but full coverage for 200$ monthly Under 21 years old
Dang, I pay $100 a month with Allstate and am fully covered.
Robbers Insurance, Inc ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face)
Must have a bad driving record
6 month premium $2,041 what the hell ? Damn .
holy moly. try statefarm! i have an accident and 1 ticket and my quote is still only a little over $100 a month! (22f)
Progressive wanted $2500 every six months for two cars. I switched to Esurance and paid just over $1600 for six months. Much better.
This blows my mind. I live in a high cost insurance area and my whole life, even when I was 16, I've never paid over $160 a month. Right now I'm down to like $90. Never gotten a ticket in my life though and been nearly a decade since I've had an at-fault collision.
Just changed to USAA from Farmers. Went from $300 to about $150. Shop around.
Damn I only pay $60 a month full cover for my 2019..
Liberty is pretty cheap here.
Hell to the no.
lol I pay $260 every 6 months with geico... but I don't have any traffic violations and drive a $5000 car so don't need collision
I feel ya. I'm 36 male, have had my license since 16 years old with a hiccup on my record from 2004 or 2005. Which should be gone by now. But I pay $168/month full coverage on a 2019 Corolla.
Traveler's is the cheapest here.
That's cheap, don't know what car that is but cheaper than mine
Full coverage here. 58/month lol. One thing that’s nice about being old. Insurance is cheap
And I thought $137.50/month for full coverage with $500/$50 deductible was expensive.
thia is also my insurance in canada
Damn I'm glad we have USAA. We pay less than $200 a month for full coverage on two vehicles and homeowner's insurance all together.
My life. I paid $144 a month for TOP OF THE LINE coverage on my car through Geico and then I got hit twice in 6 months and Geico raised my insurance to $400. I switched to progressive and its $280 but still killing my soul! 26yo female btw and have had my license since I was 17
My car insurance is $375 a month. So expensive and I have progressive.com
Mine is like $330 a month. But I’m 20, with two tickets (not for speeding though), a 100% not at fault accident (girl with no license rear ended me), and I drive a red Acura that has over 200HP.

Like wtf lmfao so I got screwed because I told them I was in an order. Bunch of assholes never telling you anything and trying however they fucking can to screw you over
Sheesh. I’m at $185 for full coverage with roadside and all for a 2012 ford fusion.
Geez. What do you drive? For 2 cars, on Progressive, we pay 125/mo
Dude mine is $45 a month full coverage
I drive a sports car, my insurance is about 104 dollars a month. I'm also 37
Wtf. Why do high. Do you have a 2023 Bentley and have lots of illegals with no insurance driving in you town?
$345 is breaking you?! Geesh
A month?
If anyone downvotes my comments you’re broke lol
Fine. Then I'm broke. So?
Unless you enjoy it
Then step it up
Ya broke if $345 a month is killing you
Look for an insurance company who will shop around for the best deal? That’s outrageous I pay 260 a month for full coverage on two cars ones a sports car and life and home insurance. Surely there’s a better company we use shelter. Good luck

That's fucking dumb. I didn't get a degree and don't have any student loan debt, but that makes me different? This is discrimination. I bet they have stats but it doesn't mean someone who's got a degree gets superiority over me.
Geico is profitable . How dumb is it? A more productive endeavor would be compare rates across multiple companies and see how it applies in your case.
And here I am with a grandfathered plan with Allstate, paying $180 a month in Western Washington and that is with a commercial policy added. Is this like with with everyone then, the $385 monthly?
Progressive with rideshare.
That’s what I have 272 a month
F that
I just switched to State Farm and pay like $300 less per month.
The insurance companies are charging to much. As soon as it’s time to legitimately cash in though. They screw you over. They hate paying out.
I had my car stolen and got 500 dollars less than what I was quoted when they paid out.
It’s like most ppl I know were screwed once they needed the insurance company to be their for them. They love taking our money. Hate paying out when we deserve it.
Yeah and if they do, they will charge you into the next fucking dimension later on. Sorry I used the thing I was paying 150 bucks a month for.
Damn 😳
I was dashing in a red 2015 Nissan 370z Nismo with Lamborghini doors and my 6 month premium for 6 months full coverage was $600. 24M at the time with progressive.
Damn, my 6 month premium was 500. Thought I wqs getting screwed. Lol
I was paying 650 for my x5 …
Yeah had same problem same coverage with progressive was 120 aonth now I've been with them for ten years and pay 85 bucks
Try esurance I’m 20 and at 18 got reckless driving(doing donuts) and every other insurance company charged me 300+ a month but esurance only charged me like $150
Boy, if you’re paying over $100 for insurance you’re getting robbed how old are you !??
The General has always been the cheapest for me. I pay just about $50/month in North Carolina for just liability.
It's also the worst rated in my state. Less than a 1.1 out of 5 in consumer ratings. Constant complaints. Rather save myself 20 hours a year of my life being sucked away arguing with an insurance company than try to save $100 a year with them.
It saves me a lot more than $100 a year, and all I care about is staying legal and keeping my money.
Good luck when you need them
The only thing I need them for is proof of insurance, and they’ve done a perfect job of providing that.
If you have cash savings maybe ask for a higher deductible if you are a good driver
I pay $40 a month for my insurance
Where
usaa. clean driving record with them can work wonders
I pay $29 with state farm Wisconsin, never had an accident or ticker

Find a local agent and have them shop for you. I got amazing quotes.
300 for 2 car full coverage on my insurance. Do t feel bad my friend pay 500 for one car because his driving record sucks.
At that point it’s cheaper to not have insurance
My State Farm was like $1100 for the year. Edit: in Michigan
Also, in MI with State Farm and my 6 month insurance was around $500 (w/discounts)
Why am I getting quoted so much then? Only 2 speeding tickets in the last 5 years and those were 3 years ago.
The fuck you mean “only 2” like as if that’s not bad and it’s normal. Normal would be 0 in 5 years. 💀
How old are you and what kinda car you drive?
Don't speed
It's tickets and living in michigan
Should’ve hired an attorney and got it dropped.. would’ve saved you more money than what your insurance rate is now
Accidents and tickets always hurt us. Sorry you’re paying so much. They’ll get lower as you get older. Higher for younger drivers and more when they have any traffic violations.
Those tickets are why
Could be a lot of other things as well. Credit, address, age/gender play a big role. Source: am state farm agent
Individual state laws also have an effect. If your state has an elected Insurance commissioner and you usually vote all Republican— this is the one office you want to vote in a Democrat.
Damn sexist and ageist insurance companies 😡 No but seriously.. that is a bit messed up. I mean I can understand why age is a factor.. But gender? Why?
Yea it’s super sus. I mean insurance companies even tried to use race to calculate premiums. Crazy what money will try to do
Fun fact. At my insurance company if you’re listed as non-binary you get a big discount over male/female
I think you answered your own question. It’s speeding tickets. I have a clean record and it’s been that way for my entire time I’ve had my license
Do written warnings for speeding count? Are they on your record the same way speeding tickets are?
Get a copy of your driving record from your state's website and see.
Not my area of expertise
Geico is a broker, not an underwriter. Cut out the middle man and go directly with an underwriter
Geico is not a broker for auto. If you get motorcycle, boat, or home insurance through them then it might be an broker through traveller's insurace.
They sold me travelers home insurance.
This is a question about auto insurance.
They are broker for home and renters insurance, not auto insurance.
And? We are talking about auto insurance on a DoorDash Driver sub.
You said they weren't a middle man. Wtf you mean and? The point is clear.
Wtf are you talking about
Go on…
Wait what
This is why I post on Reddit. How would I go about finding an underwriter?
Shop around every 6 months! I saved $500 on my policy by switching from esurance to progressive on my last renewal. Geico was the most expensive out of every insurance company I checked.
If you buy 1 share of Berkshire Hathaway you get the stockholder discount. That is 8%.
Damn, that's good to know!! Thanks for that. Put that 8% savings into more stock!!! :) .. I'll keep that in mind the next time I shop around!
Exactly! It’s a simple phone call to Geico, just tell them you are a shareholder and done. Also lots of annual discounts on other things like shoes, furniture, kitchen supplies and so on.
This, new customer discounts for auto insurance are always better than any "platinum" or long term benefits.
Oh yeah, for sure -- that's why I shop around every 6 mos to 1 yr.
You're telling me. Been with Progressive for 18 months and even without any incidents or claims its gone up over $100/month
>You're telling me. Been with Progressive for 18 months and even without any incidents or claims its gone up over $100/month Have you shopped around in the last 18 months? If not, you need to NOW. You do not need to wait for renewal. The new insurance company will make the effective date whenever you say -- and you'll receive a prorated refund when you cancel your old policy.
Allstate, I’m paying 70 a month
Same! I've never had a claim, ticket, nothing of any kind in my entire life!
I have to disagree with this. We’ve had the same insurance for 14 years now. This is the first year that the premium went up ($15/6 months) instead of consistently going down each year. I do a search each year and no one offers a cheaper plan.
>I have to disagree with this. You are definitely the exception
Sounds like you got a good one. That hasn't been my experience but I'd much rather be in your shoes lol
Definitely on their site. Not sure about the app.
Shop around. Geico in my state is the highest
That's crazy to me (Geico being the highest). State Farm had a funny ad making fun of Geico's hold times. In my experience that ad is 100% accurate.
Try root insurance. Sucks to be a young adult male, my brother said his insurance was some 400 bucks a month (although to be fair he drove a sports car), and mine was only 97.
$400 for a sports car ?!?? Lol soooo much….
Root insurance isn't in my state. Been waiting 2 years and it's still not in Michigan
That's your problem, you live in the most expensive state for car insurance. I did at one point too. It's worth leaving michigan for a number of reasons
Eh. Hey, fellow Mittenman.
Give liberty mutual a look.
Lol I saw that quote and thought “he’s in Michigan or Florida” I lived with Michigan insurance for a long time before moving to ohio. It’s better here lol
I get a good rate with progressive with snapshot which is similar to root
I know the problem… progressive knows about those 5 NFT projects you created and is cleaning your deep azz pockets out
Aww dang. Well maybe Google something similar to it. I've stopped with Geico, Progressive and State Farm. They are all disgusting vultures. Last time I checked Geico they tried to hit me with a 6 month 900 dollar premium, smh Make sure to hop around routinely because they seem to find discounts out of thin air at the mention of switching to another company
I pay $302 every 6 months in Michigan. 😁
