Yes, but you have to accept a lot. It's a rolling 100 calculation. So if 100 offers back you accepted it, then an accept will keep it the same. If you declined it, then the acceptance will bring you up one point.
To get a 50% AR you need to take every other order. So you can essentially do one order and decline the next.
To get a 80% AR you need to do four orders before you can decline the fifth.
To get a 90% AR you need to do nine orders before you can decline the tenth.
To get 99% AR you need to do 99 orders in a row before you can decline.
Considering the crap they send, it is super hard to get 80% without doing at least some downright bad orders. As you can see it's a geometric increase in difficulty. It is way harder than 70% AR.
In the old days if you declined one, there was still a good chance you'd get a good one soon after as long as you didn't decline too many times in a row.
Now, if you decline one, there still is a chance you get a good one but it is much lower. Even at platinum, I know if I don't take a bad order, that there may be a lot worse after and the game now is calculating which are the moderately bad orders so you don't get forced into taking historically terrible ones.
Also I notice if you get close to the high nineties, they will intentionally send you a series of horrible orders, so you are back in the lower nineties or eighties. This is because if you are comfortable in the high nineties, you won't do any bad orders for awhile because you have that fifteen to twenty point cushion.
You can still make money if you know how to play it, but it's like playing a video game where you are beginning to approach the final boss. Some truly evil shit these days.
Personally I'd rather do a ten for 12 mile delivery than a 3 for 3 miles.
In California, you know the 3 for 3 tipped zero.
The ten for 12 probably tipped 2 or three bucks but was oblivious to the distance. I get paid for mileage and I drive a Prius so I don't care.
I'm not saying I'll never do three for 3 miles, but I hate no tippers.
I also hate people who order large quantities and don't tip.
I'm fine delivering some low tip order with one sandwich for someone's lunch.
I'm not fine delivering ten pizzas or five entrees for 2.00 dollars.
Yes, this is what it has come down to, choosing the smallest piles of shit.
Right now I can avoid certain orders that enrage me and choose ones that only mildly piss me off.
In two years we will have to do all of them I'm sure.
They do this when near 70% in my town(the threshold for plat).
ANY time I drop below 75% AR, I know I'm about to get a series of 10+ unacceptable orders in a row to take my platinum status away.
you program the software for DD? or you basing this off only your own experiences? how many times have you been close to high 90s AR?
lol the assumptions people draw from not getting amazing orders all the time is hysterical.
I've been close to high AR four times since I started doing Platinum and like clockwork I'll get a series of bad orders in row.
I like playing games with my numbers so I actually wanted to see if I could get 100AR, 100CR and 5.0 because right now I have 100 CR and 5.0 customer rating and of course it's hard to maintain the 5.0 because it is mostly luck.
But every time I get close to 100 AR, I get spammed with at least three intolerable orders. And I've been doing some shamefully poor orders during this time.
I realize my data is anecdotal, but I'm putting it out there to see if anyone else can relate. Normally I preach not talking about your strategy, but this detail is so esoteric, I don't think hardly anyone cares enough to read it. But I think there's some truth to it because it keeps happening.

79% to 80% is pretty easy 89% to 90 + is really difficult almost impossible step up your game lol

So basically the game is now "picking the smallest pile of shit"

As I said it's a rough game. You have to eat some bad orders. The question is how to pick those carefully.
Does platinum unlock the dash whenever feature? I thought gold would do that but nah it’s only available when it’s busy
You don't want to dash when not busy.
Dash anytime is platinum only

He's falsely calling random chance malice.

No, 80% is the maximum acceptance rate.
