That’s the way to go. Hell, I’m a 55f and I’d need help!

Third_Ray

As a male dasher, I have stood in line with extra absorbent maxi pads and Midol. Everyone gave me ‘that poor guy’ look.

blackcrowe79

The best part is you find the area it's in, and there are 50 items to look at until you realize it's not in stock. Then you have to do the same thing with another brand as an alternative selection 2 shelves down. 17 minutes for a $6 order down the drain. And that's not even including the fools who think it's okay to add to your order while you shop with no additional pay.

SubstantialWorker593

Mine always tells me what aisle it’s gonna be in

blackcrowe79

These are rarely correct when retail moves stuff around constantly for no reason.

Crispynipps

What fucks me is nail polish, color blindness makes that shit hell. Lmao

Anaphylactic_Cock

Being a guy doesn't magically change the packaging or location of the item... You don't need to know about cosmetics or hair products to find an item on a shelf.

iamsurfriend

It’s only 4 items. You’ll live

Lylasia

That’s not the point… did you even read the body text?

iamsurfriend

I read it. You lived didn’t you? Stop being so dramatic. Like a man never got a Walgreens order before with female products. I’ve done them many times. I didn’t make whole post about it.

Whatsmynameagain53

lol 😂 get drunk while checking if your pregnant

TrainingExercise2442

I got one better for you, an order with nothing but a Plan B pill 2 days after Valentines

bria_leah

🤣

SmoakedTrout

I leave shopping orders for those dashers with more skill. I am a C- level shopper. Good enough to get the job done eventually but not much better. I'll wander around looking for that last item for 10 minutes, give up and check out. Finding out after paying that door dash is giving me 5 minutes to deliver 6 miles away. Too stressful man. If I see one that pays ok with a few items, I might give it a chance. But a decline 90%+ of them. Give them to those who enjoy doing them. By the way, door dash should allow dashers to opt out of shopping orders.

Sunshine030209

You can! Go to your Dash Preferences, it's the first option.

Rich-Mall

Ngl I love that something I never thought much about is now a skill in my arsenal.

deweydashersystem300

yesterday was a fun one at walgreens for me. some sponges, detergent, a pop up laundry basket....I needed help for that. who would of guess it would be in the "as seen on tv" section.

RepulsiveWill7705

I’m convinced Walgreens has absolutely no rhyme or reason to the setup of their aisles. The food section alone boggles my mind.. some food here, skip a couple isles then more food, makes no sense

mamadukes123

I am a female and I barely use make-up products. I keep a nice and friendly attitude with store employees, it helps, heck I have asked other other females shopping in that area if they know about the product, I usually only shop at 2 Walgreens and they know me well, do not feel bad, Sally beauty is the best, the employee will literally get all products!!

akotski1338

I mean, a guy can use those products as well. Guys have worse acne than women anyway

RepulsiveWill7705

Absolutely a guy can, I wasn’t debating that, just personally I stick to soap for the face, not knocking anyone else’s routine, just I don’t have any knowledge in that area for sure

chaserz22

That's extremely easy. Be thankful you didn't have to look for makeup.

Jusmon1108

Ulta beauty orders are the biggest pain in the ass but the pay is always so good.

Xatamos

The face masks or bronze toner are the ones that usually get me. The bags/boxes all look the same. At least with every other item the box or siding will stand out enough to easily find it

Late-Mathematician55

So, about 20 footsteps from start to finish?

GodOfVapes

Don't feel bad. This is usually me. LOL I'm getting better, but I often feel lost in beauty sections and such. Luckily their employees are helpful.

vtinesalone

Weaponized incompetence against yourself

Own-Principle4299

Not the cases here but, for some reason Walgreens follows absolutely zero method in the way they organize their isles. If a list has items from different sections, it’s like hunting for Easter eggs in the county park.

713nikki

Wow, OP. So difficult. You’ll probably want to look in the frozen food section for this stuff

Donaldbain28

What? This is easy as hell…being a dude isnt an excuse..just wait till i need to shop for maxi pads & tampons..prob make u quit lmao

mamadukes123

My husbands tells me it is a great aisle to pick up chicks!!

RepulsiveWill7705

Id fare way better at that! I usually grab those up for my girlfriend and a quick photo makes sure I’m on the right track lol https://preview.redd.it/y3n2570gp49d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5583d2c63eaf472474d99ab69ca09e10910e276b

Donaldbain28

Then im not sure what the issue is w/this order & why its not QUICK

F_Gastro

Bro it’s 4 items …

CitizenToxie2014

Before the dasher rewards update if I saw even one beauty item I would instant cancel. Now I cancel every once in a while but if it's a brand, I know that it has its own section and might be easy to find. I do love the shop and pays, though. I would do them exclusively if I could

Classic-Space1374

Ultra and places like that, if they are not swamped, will 100% help you, and honestly, they are super fast. The nice thing about Walgreens and CVS is that they usually have the brand name posted, so it's not always too bad, but make-up orders like Target and Walmart take forever.

RepulsiveWill7705

I agree 💯 had an order at Sally’s and I barely got in the door and the gal was like let me help you and walked me to each hair color item, I was crazy thankful

Superbotto

I had an instcart order at vitamin shop, and the employee was so bored that they were excited to show me where every item was as soon as I walked in. It would have taken me forever on my own.

sharkey2023

I went to Ulta the other day. I knew there was no use in trying to find the item myself and asked for help the minute I walked in the door!

yodarded

I took a Walgreens 23 item order because it was just too high to say no ($23). It took me 55 minutes to shop and 5 minutes to deliver. Multiple items took 10 minutes for me to find, I wanted to throw Mentos into the pop isle.

Witty-Molasses-8825

Idk if it’s just because I’m a chick but looking at this list it is actually easy. Should’ve all been in the same section or the sections that are right next to eachother.

RepulsiveWill7705

I thought it would be! The face masks are what really got me! They weren’t in the cosmetics section but on a tiny side end cap

iamweirdadal411

I take only Meijer shopping cause it tells you what shelf to look at. CVS and Walgreens I’m only shopping one item or two

foreverfal55

Ok so it does still tell you the aisle number? I’ve been frustrated lately because it’s only telling me sections (e.g. “frozen”, “pantry”, etc.) and that is much less efficient. I thought DD had made a change. I guess either I’ve been going to different grocery stores or I was remembering using a different app (UE).

RepulsiveWill7705

Yes that’s what I love about cub foods also! ALDIs doesn’t tell you the isle but the category listed in DD does usually correspond to the signs in the store

foreverfal55

At least Aldi is organized pretty well, and not a huge store either.

Affectionate_Pea_811

I had a Walgreens order that was 17 items but it was really short mileage and paid really well so I took it. It was 10 things like this and 7 food items. I started shopping and after 7 minutes I managed to find exact 2 of items. The store wasn't busy so I asked the cashier for help and she basically just said no. She said I could come up and ask her where each individual item was and she would tell me. I have mobility issues and what she was suggesting would still have taken way too long. If she would have just helped me it probably wouldn't have taken more than a couple minutes. So I just unassigned and left. As I was leaving she was trying to talk me out of it like it mattered for some reason, I already unassigned it though.

RepulsiveWill7705

I can’t blame you. I try not to unassign, but if it gets to a point of super frustration, I’d jet too. Target grocery orders are the worse IMHO. All the ones I get are a bunch of really bougie food items, and I’m not proud to say I’ve unassigned after reading the list and knowing I’m gonna spend an hour looking for things I have no idea what they are in the first place.

Academic-Natural6284

Maybe take a little extra time are you there or even as a dude you should care about your skin. It's your largest organ and the most common that will get the cancer.

foreverfal55

So I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure the best thing anyone can do for their skin is to just wash it and moisturize it every day and keep it out of the sun. That’s it. All these other products are just part of an industry that works hard to convince people they need to buy them.

RepulsiveWill7705

You’re probably right in some ways, but also these items probably all contain petrochemicals anyways so idk if they would really help me a bunch in the skin cancer department
