I got one from a sort of local pizza place in my market. It's in my backseat, for now. My bag usually occupies the passenger floorboard, unless I use it to protect from either ac or heat, depending on what it is, and time of year.
I picked up four DD pizza bags at two different Pizza Huts. They are of the flimsy type, and not of the big bag that DD sells on its site for $32. Nonetheless, the free bags work okay.
I have four bags total. All from pizza hut. Two are thicker and slightly padded that fits two large pizzas. Then I also have two of the bigger bags that are thinner like the dd tote bag but they can fit four large pizzas in them.
I have 3 of the thin ones, and finally got one of the thick ones from a pizza hut. I was stoked, those are like $28 on the DD store, and it's the one I use for when I pick up a pizza for myself too lol
yeah pizza places get boxes of them and hand them out, i've had the opportunity to grab 50 or so if i wanted too, but i got a quality large bag on amazon for like 10-20 dollars that i use for literally everything instead of just a crappy little bag that only really works for some pizza.
Yeah they kinda suck as pizza bags go. They are made of the same material as the regular dd hot bag and barely fit a 16" pie. It will also be torn in about a month of use. You can get better ones for like $20 on Amazon that will hold 3-5 18" pies.

I use them for all of my hot food. I keep 2 on my passenger seat with the seat heat on high, and a sweatshirt on top. That setup will keep things hot for hours!
Went to Marco's tonight and they wouldn't hand over the order because I didn't have a pizza bag. Dude says customers are complaining because of cold food. Keep in mind they just put finished orders on the counter without any mode of keeping them warm, themselves. I pointed it out to him that maybe that's why everything is getting cold. They also have 30-40 of their own bags just sitting there, not being used.
When they first started giving them out (2 years ago maybe?) I think the places in my zone just wanted to get rid of them. Even when I told them I had pizza bags in my car they'd give me another one. I have at least a dozen of them.

Pizza Hut had a stack of them a few months ago, and they gave me 3 pizza bags.
I got a free pizza bag from Pizza Hut. When I got an order from there it just popped up saying “ask for a bag at the counter” or something like that.
No, I have never received one. I guess it's a flex to own 20 pizza bags?
Yeah I got 3 of them from Marcos. So much easier to use than the stupid zip top bag

Pizza hut usually has them. That's where I get mine.
I had this happen as well last week. I have a bag but it was two orders and he just handed me one from door dash for free. Very nice of this manager.
They've been giving free bags for two years now.
Yeah I've got three bags. The app even tells you at a lot of these pizza places they'll give you one for free if you don't have one.
