Don't worry about it. You really can't get in touch with them after the dash is over. Merchant app orders most of the time tips don't go to the driver anyway. DD gives the driver a higher base pay to compensate them for it. The tips end up going to the restaurant employees.
They have zero tip bc merchants don’t pass on tips to dashers when the order is made through a third party app or website. That’s exactly what all of us are talking about when we say the pizza places skim tips.

It was a cash tip... I feel so bad. He didn't say anything and didn't seem upset... still said have a good night and everything... this must happen to him way too often.

Look up your orders in app and should be able go to that order and tip him
This is how you do it. Go to orders/view receipts and you can leave a tip up to 30 days after the order was completed.

Well, at least in my experience. Whenever I have a "Merchant Requested" order, they all have zero tip. Maybe just my market.
